The devs should have combined the two surugami legendaries together with increased window for both parry and dodge. Maybe then people would actually use it instead of other legendaries.
Well its kinda OP if built it around perfect counter/parry window and counter damage. Its not the best build for a speedrun but with this build soloing survival becomes easier

Perfect dodges assist would be nice. I do find the charm fun and love the finish move when enemies are low. Though seriously, I need outfits for my hunter, SP!!!

Yeah just spam Raging Flame and heal through anything with Blessed Strikes.
No choice but to if you want to unlock/purify some gear. Also nailing a perfect parry is the most badass feeling in the game.
I mean, the standoff feature from the story was litterly that and I would have it no other way.

This is kind of a head scratcher why they didn't just make it like the armor with both parry and dodge increases. Another useless legendary. All in all tho, SP has done a phenomenal job with Legends. Them legendaries tho. Lol.

I pretty much use this for my ronin combined with sarugami wrath. With bomb pack nerfed this gives ronin additional options to be able to withstand being sorrounded plus the new fire ability. Its not good for speedrunning but it helps a lot in solo nighmare survivals. My gameplay is more on dodging ang parrying since I find it tiring to run around. I just stand on the circle and wait for enemies to gather around. This area attack helps reduce enemies consistently
Def the aoe attack is it’s selling point
Been using this with moon master cancel. It wrecks groups specially with status effect duration perk. I have it easy because I play exclusively with dodge and perfect parry on single player lethal plus without any perfect parry perks. Perfect dodge is actually easier than perfect parry if you are used to it. If you don’t counter attack fast enough though after the perfect dodge on spearmen or spear onis, You can get clipped by the spear swipe. Fun build specially if your playing solo nightmare rivals and story. 😊

I think it’s decent, it doesn’t have as many synergies like the sarugamis wrath does but with an assassin if your perfect dog blinds all remaining enemy’s and there is none left unblinded then you can go into stealth or run around assassinating enemy’s but at the same time you could just use 120 bomb packs with assassin unlock and flash bombs to do the same thing
Make sure you increase your "staggered damage" so the enemies will take 10-20% more damage while staggered as well but that's true. This isn't as useful in main gameplay

I honestly have never really had a build where I used a legendary charm. All the legendary weapons have way more useful effects.

Hey Gooshy, Samurai's have an ability called Critical Defense that increases Parry and Dodge windows when at low health. Just a thought.

i was grinding the "sarugami set" for exactly your suggestion before i saw the video.
survival has too many incidental attacks to focus on one enemy long enough for dodging. if you focus on 1 another lord will port in cleaving immediately or 1 pesky archer will snipe you.
Yes you def have to space out your attacks
The fact that there aren't properties to up your perfect dodge window is why I haven't used this charm. If I could at least improve the timing window to make it a more viable option then I'd try it out, but as it stands, I'm not gonna mess with this when I'm in Nightmare.

Is there a list of all the Mastery Challenges? I want to skip one and use my Cursed item for it, but worried there’s an even worse one I should save it for
You can go into the crafting system, hover over the challenge and then hold r2 to look at all the alternatives

What is the Perfect Parry Window really good for?
Parrying attacks. It’s really good on hunter to get free headshots

My samurai build has about 40% PPW, the technique that heals for 25 health when killing an enemy with a perfect parry, and the leeching parry perk, along with blessed strikes. I'm almost always on max health if I'm playing smart.

That would be crazy but I’d doubt they would add another stance
Instead of the Ronin whose playstyle is kind of all over the place, they should have made the healer class a Monk (like Norio from the main story). He should have the spear weapon, heal allies and summon spirit animals. Would have given the healer class a more distinct combat style instead of just being an awkward samurai with a bunch of bombs.

I've gotten so many of this charm it's not funny. It is a unique charm but doesn't really work against those purple oni with the spear. Does work well against iyo tho like u said bro

The thing with legends is that sadly most of the legendaries are not worth using and people choose the same all the time. They need to make them better in order to be useful.

It's just a Legendary. You can get it on Gold and Nightmare missions, though it's more likely to drop on Nightmare. It's just a matter of the RNG.
@@DiZtheJedi Nightmare for sure, I rarely get anything worth getting on gold. And its always 105.
@@TheRealKingSlayer For sure. But getting gear from 105 to 110 is easy now. It's just one upgrade to jump those five levels, so it's not nearly as costly as it used to be.

It’s standard legendary drop - got it twice as samurai, so that’s what I’d recommend playing (any mode - mode doesn’t change drops)

This one is another useless legendary, thanks Gooshy but GG. This became useless when I first had it, without even testing bcs simply Nightmare and higher level won't fit for sword play-style like this. Up till this point, I think there is no more new legendary for Gooshy to show up here :)

ultimate spam samurai and ult spam hunter are the best and fastest build in the legends mode ! they dominate oni hordes
