Okay, there's a _lot_ of great fan art as usual, but that one with Quill and the Uno cards legitimately made me actually pause the video while I laughed out loud.
Especially since uno is Spanish for one and he only has one wing and one normal eye. It's clever when you think about it that way.
I had already died during the sexy starbane one, then the uno one killed me again XD

I LOVE that Johan/Ravs is a recurring character, to the point that he's part of a very very important part of the story

So so cool!! The way Johan is fed in with such an important role yet only for a one-shot is such good story telling. And Rhi never ceases to amaze with her bad-ass combat choices. Out of nowhere, misty step onto the golem to then drive Sentry's sword thru its skull...?! Crazy bad-ass! So cool

Hey Mark! You mentioned it being hard to do attacks on weak points in 5e, and I agree. But on dnd beyond one of the recent articles was about how to work out weak point attacks and such! It's really cool, and I think would mesh super well with especially Aerois! Keep on rockin ❤

Rules note: Can't uncanny dodge against a shocking grasp as it prevents reactions.

Edit: Uncanny dodge is only against attack rolls. The other rogue ability is Evasion which is against only dex saves. No protection from any other saving throws (i.e. con saves).
You have to make an attack roll for shocking grasp
@@abbytealeaf Correct but uncanny dodge doesn't occur until after the attack hits at which point you can't use reactions so you can't use uncanny dodge. Order of operations is important.
Can you just turn Sentry into some sort of Sky-Ship Transformer already?

I have two theories about dice. Whatever you want to roll the opposite is most likely. And the more excited/fun your having the better chance for great rolls. (Anxious "oh no!" kind of rolls more likely to be low.)

Doesn't lucious have mage armor? 1st tier spell, action to cast. last 8 hours or till dismissed. caster touches a creature and their armor becomes 13 + dex while effected by this spell

Picky point- creatures that can fly CAN fall, but I could see that construct having a auto-hover Reaction to prevent falling. Alternately, and this would have been cooler, IMO, the construct could have fallen out of view of those on deck and then on its next turn just flown back up into view and attacked. It would have scared the crap out of the players.

I was thinking of a one off adventure involving Mighty 9 and the high rollers group. Since both worlds exist in separate crystal spheres in the D&D universe, this could easy fall within current cannon. Maybe there is a link with Matts Big baddy and Starbane ? I would dearly love to see the RP between the two groups.
Haha we all know the Mighty 9 would kiss arse. Too their credit HR is more about RP than power. I know CR RP is amazing but you have to admit they do min/max more than the HR group. Personally id like to see them try to work together than fight ( although , nothing to say we cant see a bit of in party friction ).

Rule notes for Mark 2:06:30
Technically you can't twin acid splash because it can affect more than one creature, but this is a kinda ambigious ruling so if you don't like it I don't really care. Pg 102 of the PHB for twinned spell and 211 for acid splash.

2:24:25 The person being shoved can make an acrobatics instead of athletics. Pgs 195-6. Personally I think it gives rogues and dex based things a little too much power over strength characters and really limits the power of shove and grapple, but that is the rule
2:32:45 Love it, absoulute rule of cool, but I don't think the assasain could uncanny dodge that because it isn't an attack it's just damage. Pg 96 for uncanny dodge and attack definition 193-4 an attack is an active decision
