Great breakdown and analysis from your guest Harry. He breaks down the rugby for us ladies that sometimes don't understand the logistics behind the game. I am here for the Bokks these guys are really changing the face of rugby, the standard is very high and England must be ready to compete. The springbok really know how to bring the game on the field, they just go and are very tactical, just absolutely spectacular. Rassie is a smart guy and he is passionate about the game. He knows how to balance his team's strengths and weaknesses. And his not afraid to take out a player that is not performing in the team.
It was a weird feeling. And the support for the Aussies especially at the end was genuine. I was truly joyful when they won at the end there. I’ve always said that if England and Australia play the only result that will be ok is a draw 😂😂
I am reading the squad picks a bit differently than you are. It looks to me that Rassie used Scotland to give Thomas a run and using this game as a pressure scenario test to simulate the emergency selections. Hence Wlico starting. I suspect if the game goes well Pollard comes on at 12 next to Am at 13. Mannie plays 80 mins paired with Grant for the first time. Fassie plays to get England experience and Willie gets to 99 after Wales so his 100th cap is at home. Fassie is also better at the high hall and it's likely that England re-try the semi final tactics. That's also why Mannie needs to play 10. He needs to have the memory of a big score over England. If, everything goes to plan. Either way a good pressure test. You can see from English selections that they planing to kick on our short wings. But tony ball game has a forward in the trams so that tactic may find a tall bok there waiting. As for the bok support in the stands we are winning support outside of the saffa diaspora. Thats a great thing and if SA rugby manage it correctly then it can translate into annuity income for the brand.
Agreed. All the focus on SA in a very confident way...England are no slouches. The England back 3 are all quite a bit taller than their Bok counterparts.
#ShiftTheScore my prediction is the Bokks 55 v Eng 22, or 32 v 12 respectively. the weather will be cooling so our men's will be fluid in the field tomorrow.
As a SA Londoner I actually could have mistaken Harry for an autumnal ‘Twickenham man’ himself in the jacket, cravat & beanie hat. Can’t see if he’s wearing the loafers 😂
I'm going to pick an England win, the Boks have had enough go there way this year & they are very beatable and England are due some luck to fall there way. Normally I go Southern Hemisphere all day and have never cheered for England but some Bok supporters need a humbling like the Irish supporters got, this Bok side is not as great as there supporters think.
38.00min. MW, yes, I share your concern about Manie at 10. Let's hope Manie has a good match and that Pollard don't have to save the Boks at the end again. We need a proper win, not a shakey close one ... again.
We all mention how strong the Boks scrum will be. But what about our weakness in the lineouts? Normally there are more lineouts than scrums in a game and we dont have a replacement lock. Will our dangerous back line get enough ball ?
As a bulls fan, I think Manie is going to play his haters and naysayers quiet this weekend and he is going to kick all his kicks over. I am glad he is in the team, we going too see the same game as what it was in Nelspruit against Arrgies, Manie is going to cook. Come on Manie show them waar dawid die wortels begrawe het. Go Bokke, we going to see Tonyball, lekker

Hilarious, Harry’s characterisation of Twickenham Man! 👊😂😂
These gents on top of their game again. Harry the Philosopher and MW the wise observer.
🤣🤣 Accurate, bur maybe I am more of a bewildered observer!
Excellent 🎉 thoughts, Harry! I am in awe of your knowledgeable insights.
Much appreciated

great commentary....the most insightful I've seen, go boks!
I think we are underestimating England. They nearly beat both the ABs and Australia. Could have won both
You are under estimating England. We are just confident in the Bok game.

Kolbe mentioned in a recent interview that he thought he was fit, until he got to Japan, and that its a lot more running.
Im looking forward to the Wales game where i think Rassie will bring on less experienced guys and tell them to have fun
