any chance of adding a jog function in degrees? that way you could easily laser a logo, then jog it say 180° and laser again. no math involved using the circumference to calculate the jog. even easier if you’re trying 3-4 logos equally spaced.
Good day, I'm new to Lightburn and my fiber laser so please excuse me if my question seems basic to you. I see that you are engraving a tumbler that is the same size from top to bottom. But most tumblers lets say taper from wider to smaller. Is there a min max variation in material thickness that we should consider to get a clean engrave? I thank you for your time.
Is there any information on adjusting the simulation settings for Galvo? My preview estimated wait times are wildly incorrect and I’m wondering if I can fix that. Thanks
I wish I remembered off hand. I don't believe I have the parameters for this one. It was a lot of testing to find the best settings. I used a sacrificial tumbler to dial things in.
excellent video! One question: If I have 2 different diameters on the same part that need engraving, and an engraver with a powered z axis can Lightburn combine the two into a single job?
This seems great for straight lasers but doesn’t really cover tapered bottles. You can’t run just back and forwards like you can with a gantry system. The splits are really visible with glass.
@@md4mmm632 - I don’t understand the question. I would suggest emailing support@lightburnsoftware.com so we can properly help you, as we’ll likely need screen shots and there’s no way to post them here.
Awesome as always. Thanks LB team!
Thank you for this!! All the questions I've had regarding the different settings have been answered in this video.
Glad to hear it! The goal was to make this video as thorough as possible.
Excellent video Thank you Lightburn and Daniel.
Thank you!
I can't wait to try this❤

Also is there a video on the max shape size option and how that affects engravings?
@@lexispapi - Not a video, but it’s in the documentation here: docs.lightburnsoftware.com/galvo/Rotary.html#max-shape-size
What parameters did you use to make that black tumbler?
I have a problem with the white tumblers that stain them

@@precisionrp - we have no such feature at this time, no.
I need help when i am using the rotary my laser engraving in the same place, i tried X and Y positions

For tapered objects, use a split value that is really small - typically 2x to 4x your line interval for engraving.
Finally!
It has been a long time coming!
Hvordan har du tilsluttet LigtBurn til din Laser, jeg har samme slags laser, og har forsøgt, men det er ikke lykkedes
Boom🎉
why i dont have (laser) in taskbar??? i use ezcad2

So why is it I’ll have like 8,000 slices in my full frap art lol?
Probably because you're using a ridiculously small slice size.
@@lightburnsoftware7189 I figured as much how do I configure my slice size? Thank you.
