There's one that has been visiting me everyday after work. It just flies around me. Today it landed on me and hung out with me on my hands for a good 20 minutes. Awesome experience.
@@bulldogface8259 I've done that as a kid, but this is a female so I'm sure it has kids somewhere nearby. As a matter of fact it just flew around me 2 minutes ago. :)
I’ll say this u have more heart me when I was in middle school one was in my face in front of friends I took of my backpack and start swinging 😂 traumatized back then I still don’t like em
Tennessee here, we did the string thing too with June bugs. What’s so bad is we let them fly away with the string attached. I’m sorry we did this now but as a child, we weren’t taught any better.
I've always thought of June Beatles as one of the coolest Beatles out there green metallic belly and a green bronce suede surface on it's back; definitely cool 😎
My main question is, when do they just go away? Lol jk. Thank you for the video. I grew up terrified as a kid. And till this day, still terrified lol but I respect them. Before I die, I hope I have the courage to hold one in my hand.
How do you control these beetles in a non-pesticide way? I don't think they will go in Japanese beetle traps, and we have a zillion of these bugs eating up our farm. Thanks.
There is one that has been harassing me everytime I go to my sister's house. I was hoping to find out why. And it's o ly just me that it chases.... do I smell like rotting fruit?
Ok so I know they won't hurt me but I can't stand these bugs. There are so many flying around here in east Tennessee I can't even walk outside without freaking out.
I saw two of them the other day, I picked up one and then another one started hovering around my hand that had the other one on it, maybe it smelled the other one

When you get a chance grab him tie a string around his upper area and swing him around in a circle and watch him fly like a motorized plane

You must’ve been enjoying some herbs 🌿 to have hung out with him for 20 minutes!
@@johnathancucumbermelon Darn right! I live in the middle of nowhere. :(
I want to grow the courage to hold one lol
I use to catch them an keep them as pets as a kid in California. Would get a string or floss and make a leash for them 😂

My lab pit mix used to chase after them and it was funny to watch, he would get frustrated
Informative, thanks! Might do something about that echo-y audio, though. Put up some sound-absorbing curtains or something?
THEM LITTLE GUYS ARE LOTS OF FUN WHEN I WAS A KID WE USED TO TIE THEM TO A STRING AND SWING THEM AROUND IN CIRCLES AND WATCH THEM FLY FOR HOURS
Thank you for the info. I will go out in my yard again!!!😄👍😊
Ok, I have thousands in my orchard...first time seeing them. What do we do?
