how are the results of children it produces ? So I'm curious, is fifty percent gold fifty percent blue, or a mixture of the two ?

Beautiful fish, I tried a small group of these blue opaline. I watched them in the tank at the store for awhile to see which ones got along with each other. I had 4 in my well planted 40 breeder. I had platy's in there. They killed my queen platy my best breeder, and they also killed one of their own. I was took these fish aren't aggressive and did well in a community. I took them back to store and got Angel fish instead and that has been really working good. I have had them for 2 weeks now. They have figured out their hierarchy. Low man on pole goes in a breeder net just for dinner time. I don't mind doing that and he does not seem to mind either. He swims into my hand now when it's dinner time. I do not put my hands in my tank that often, it was easy to train him. I would have thought the Opaline's would have worked out this way. The angel fish are aggressive, for some reason these fish really do not seem to be with each other.

Hey, I have a male blue 3 spot gourami and a gold gourami, but they keep fighting when I put them together. The female (gold) is slightly bigger than the male (blue). I’d like to try breeding them sometime. You got any advice for me? 😅

I want to breed my paridse blue gouramis. I assumed removing the parents is the best option but now that you suggest not to I was wondering how you feed them? I was planning to feed the babys brine shrimp.

    hi :) I have 3 questions
The first is that I have 5 gourami fish in my tank, 4 of them are small a little in size and the last one (female) is bigger, and one of the young is male and all the other are female Including the big fish. Is it possible to mate the small male with the big female or not?
The second question: Is it better to have all fish of one size or not a problem of having small fish with a large one in the same tank?, knowing that I have only gourami in the tank
The last question: What is the maximum number of gourami in my tank with the knowledge that I have 70L or (18,5 Gal) tank, can I keep 8 gourami and two of them males in the tank without any problem ? knowing that I will provide them with many shelters like plants and caves
    thanks

The male builds a foamnest, becomes dark and chases females with fat tommies. When a female follows the male to the foamnest after being chased around some, it's ON!
