Carradice did make an excellent cordura bag for Bromptons, which attached to seat and seatpost, at a very reasonable price.I have one, and can recommend it, though haven't checked on their site whether they still make it. The Brompton coverall is quite useful for nipping in an out of shops etc.
Thanks for watching! So annoying! I think the light with the lock has been discontinued! We still have the locks without the light, for example this one: brilliantbikes.co.uk/locks/6062-hiplok-fx-wearable-retractable-combination-lock-cyan.html Also available in red and yellow. I’ve asked our supplier about the black one with the light
Thanks for watching! Annoyingly I think the lock with light is being discontinued, I have asked our supplier. But we have them in stock in red, yellow and blue, for example: brilliantbikes.co.uk/locks/6062-hiplok-fx-wearable-retractable-combination-lock-cyan.html

Let’s be honest…the bag that’s probably the best one is the one you showed that’s no longer available 🤷🏽♂️ The cover packs into the bag really easily, it can be saddle or stem mounted without obscuring lights or gps/phone and if you leave the cover at home, the bag is the perfect size and shape for carrying a standard drink bottle. Crazy it’s been superseded…new is not always better!
Hi Hannah, this is a useful accessory and is similar to the bag I have for my Airnimal Joey. For my Bromptons (1992 3 speed and 2009 6 speed) I prefer the cover. Its still protected from the elements but I can still use the wheels. This bag would be great for the 12 speed model though... 👌
I have the B&W soft bag, as a B&W Hard Box also. I have just heard that B&W intends to make the Box a little larger, so that you don't need to take your "Folding Bike" apart, before using it!! As a Dane and 6"+, our Bromptons are delivered with a long seat post as Standard, for our sins, and they don't fit inside the normal B&W box! Finn. Denmark
@@brilliantbikes Thank You. If so they aren't that much better, and the reason why I originally bought a Black Telescope Seat Post from You, just before Brexit cut off the Continent and made things much more complicated!! But they are indeed "heavy" from the double tube and extra clamp, so I have never actually used it. At Present my much less than 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton (A flame painted, Black Version) is below 9 kilo, of course still with mudguards, as a "Rainy Dane". 😄Finn. Denmark
Hello Hannah, the timing of this video is perfect. I've just received my very first Brompton (a 4 speed BE) and have been researching lightweight travel bags to use when transporting it either in the car or use on public transport/in public places where an exposed and possibly wet bike might be an issue. I came across your posts when researching my Brompton options and have binge watched most of Brilliant Bikes content, which is both educational and entertaining. Keep up the great work. Allan
Many thanks for watching! The bag can be found here: brilliantbikes.co.uk/brompton-covers-boxes/6423-brompton-transit-transport-bag-black.html Annoyingly I think the lock with light is being discontinued, I have asked our supplier. But we have them in stock in red, yellow and blue, for example: brilliantbikes.co.uk/locks/6062-hiplok-fx-wearable-retractable-combination-lock-cyan.html
Is there any information on the original cover as mentioned in some of the comments? I'd like to see what I'd be missing out on and if there are any aftermarket options on reseller sites. Thank you!
Thanks for watching and for the question. We showed the old cover in this video Brompton Transit Transport Bag ruclips.net/video/Ss_W5W4NHts/видео.html Basically the cover was in its own little bag

I love your videos! I see the Brompton Transit Transport Bag on your website, but Brilliant Bikes doesn't deliver to the USA. I checked the US and UK Brompton sites and they don't show the bag on either site. Do you have a web address where it can be purchased? Keep up the great work. Thank you.
Thanks for watching! It’s really annoying, they have discontinued the Hiplock with the light! We still have ones with the out the light though brilliantbikes.co.uk/locks/6062-hiplok-fx-wearable-retractable-combination-lock-cyan.html
Hi - great video as always. How do you recon it compares to the dimpa in terms of space? I have added some wider handlebars, bar ends and larger rollerwheels and it stretches the capabilities of the dimpa literally. I ripped two zippers. This one looks more spacious. Is that right?
Thanks for watching! Really really annoyingly they have discontinued the lock with built in light! But you can get the locks here: brilliantbikes.co.uk/brompton-g-line-lights-fittings-and-reflectors/6702-brompton-g-line-front-battery-light.html There are three colours if you search Hiplok
The dilemma has always been: setting the bulk and weight of a bag/cover when cycling against its usefulness at the beginning or end of a tour. This doesn’t seem to pass the test. On numerous Eurostar and other European rail trips, my original (relatively light and compact) Brompton cover has always passed inspection.
Many thanks for watching! Annoyingly I think the lock with light is being discontinued, I have asked our supplier. But we have them in stock in red, yellow and blue, for example: brilliantbikes.co.uk/locks/6062-hiplok-fx-wearable-retractable-combination-lock-cyan.html
No that’s bag is still being continued, we just did not include it in this video as it’s much larger, not really what you would use to pop the bike in the back of the car, just our thoughts, thanks for watching!

In Germany, when travelling with Deutsche Bahn (German railway) you only have to fold your Brompton and you can take it with you for free. At Lake Constance, when you take the ferry Meersburg-Konstanz you have to hide your folded Brompton in a cover to make it “luggage”. Otherwise you have to pay for a bicycle. I love this planet…

Recently brought a Brompton and have really enjoyed all your videos. I would have brought my bike from you except I am in the US.

I still use the old cover and pouch. In the pouch I also keep a spare inner tube, gloves and tyre levers. Thanks as always
Thanks for watching, again 😀. I know ow we love the old one!
Me too. In the pouch is although space for a 0,5 l water bottle.
I watched for the outtakes.😂😂 However, the lock did hold my attention for a lot longer than the covers!! Great vid. 😊
