These people don't watch Chelsea play, they don't care if we win, they're only there to complain if we lose and that's it really.
Anyone saying this result is unacceptable is a complete idiot, and more than likely, not a true Chelsea fan. The Premier league is tough. Yes, I would love to see more of Felix, but, in Maresca we trust. This coach is the best thing to happen for Chelsea since the outing of Roman.
I think everyone is pissed off because Maresca didn't try anything, this young squad was looking at him for some guidance because they could feel the game was getting away from them and he just left them to die like Poch did. If he would've changed tactics, put in some subs then everyone would be saying you know what we tried and it's one of those days, its the lack of trying that everyone is pissed off about.

Maresca needs to utilize he's changes sooner and even drop he's best players when they are not performing. Fulham showed him how it was done, two goals from two subbed players. Also, this is not Maresca's fault, but I believe we need a World class CB to play along Colwill.
A real issue that Maresca has now is clearly how to keep the full squad happy over the next 2 to 3 months in which time he only has at best 2 or 3 FA Cup matches for half of them to look forward to whilst the core remain as starters in the Premiership matches and some others on the bench. I would suggest now it be essential to sell some and send others out on loan or there is going to be substantial discontent.

Yan , the danger in accepting the results from the Everton and Fulham game is that it can gradually become infectious, and the players begin to lose confidence.
There is no problem with losing or drawing games The issue is manager making unnecessary changes which aren't required like neto playing as full back with gusto playing lb or cm Disasi playing instead of veiga We are not using our subs and playing same players even when they are not performing which shouldn't be the case We were playing very well for 15 games in title race then manager makes nonsense changes to get chelsea out of title race and ease pressure on himself
I was angry yesterday, very angry but once I calmed down and thought rationally and watched your video i felt better. Maresca reminds me of Mourinho in his early days at Chelsea. I think over time he will bring us great success because he will iron out the creases and build a solid defence.
People are crazy, we have been great all year!!! We lose one game to a team that is great. We won’t be perfect we will have these times plus we are not ready to win.
And that's why I've avoided football social media the last 24 hrs - even seen some "fans" claiming after yesterday's loss that this is proof why Chelsea will never win the league ever again. Yeah the defeat sucked a lot, but I was more disappointed after the Everton draw than the loss to a team that is miles ahead of Everton in current circumstances. And let's not forget - this current season is a million miles ahead from the dross we saw in 2022/23 and bits of last season.
Really appreciate you being the voice of reason, Yan. Yes, we have things to learn and you learn more from losses than you learn from wins, sometimes. But just because you shouldn’t panic, it doesn’t also mean you ignore the lessons a loss give you. Yes, we need to learn to see out games. Absolutely. But Sanchez made a horrible mistake with his last long pass that immediately turned to ball over to Fulham when we were in a vulnerable position. He should NOT have sent the ball long; he should have given it to his teammate who was square and 25yards clear. Possession at that moment in the game was at a premium and Sanchez had a golden and safe opportunity to keep it, and he just gave it away and put us in immediate danger of what turned out to be a lethal, game-deciding assault. Sanchez is okay but he HAS to go. He is not improving in his judgment and execution of long balls and it is costing us games. Disagree? Really? Does ANYONE feel completely safe in any game when the ball gets played back to Sanchez? I didn’t think so.
without watching, i think you can be angry and disappointed about how we played against Fulham because we weren't good enough but also see that the season as a whole has gone well and we can push for that top 4
I am really pissed off at Maresca. He didn't do anything to change the match against Everton and he didn't do anything to change the game against Fulham. Same mistake in two matches straight after each other, that's not good enough! (Does not mean I want him out, but it does worry me and what Leicester fans said about Maresca worries me)
Your true feelings about Fekix are starting to show. You don't think he's good enough to push us over the line. Like I've always said, any foreign player competing with an english player for a position will never get the support of english fans. It happened to Cucurella and now Felix.
As I said on a Chelsea facebook group. The whinges have been waiting weeks for something to go wrong and now they’ve all come out of the woodwork. They all need to take a chill pill. We are going to have our ups and downs throughout the season we have young players and a manager who is learning the Premier League. Let’s just sit back and see where we finish at the end of the season.
those same whingers have an agenda and its hatred of the owners. Negative outcomes on the pitch fuel what they are about and enable them to spit venom. Success on the pitch is not ideal for them at all.
Tbh, after the lost, I was fuming. But while writing my rant, I saw a few points, that made me felt better. 1. Look at our December form. 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 lost. With only 1 game left. It's actually a very good run. 2. The team was actually still trying to win it at 1-1. With Sanchez hoofing the ball up. 3. Our team is still very young, and so is our manager. 4. Before the season starts, if you tell me that in December, we will be in 2nd place in the League, I would absolutely write us off. But hey, we are doing very well ATM, and slightly ahead of the curve. Looking back at my expectations before the season start. I think that finishing around 6th to 8th place and a cup trophy would be great. With that in mind, being in 2nd place in league and qualifying for the Conference League now shows that we are on track and even slightly ahead of ourself. My only hope is that the team, along with Maresca, continues to improve. KTBFFH! Chelsea til I die.
Nope, it was Maresca. Even though players will have the experience to see out games, FRESH LEGS make a difference when used appropriately. Its NOT an issue with the youth. Gusto is getting cooked. Why not try Acheampong? Sancho not doing anything, try someone else. Move palmer to right and put Felix in the 10
I like these vids where you assert a bit more of your take on the games, players, and fanbase (while also making sure to respect that everyone else has theirs). Cheers, pal!
No idea why people are going off. Young side, young manager there’s going to be complacency and errors. On to the next. Actually, part of it is probably for clickbait as you said.
Yan, because we have the youngest team, it is the Coaches job to help the team with in-game management . Trust me, if Maresca had changed at least for 3 fresh legs, we would have at least gotten a point.
No bro I like Enzo but when he does crazy things like yesterday and against Everton got to call it out not saying he should go he’s been good but leaving Noni out the squad for tactical reasons that don’t make sense and making one sub that doesn’t make sense tactically we gotta say something Silva out coached Enzo yesterday sorry but not sorry still like him tho
I was frustrated to lose in the way that we did. But it will be a learning experience for the squad. Though it does highlight we need an actual back up for Jackson or just an alternative option. No hate to Nkunku but he isn’t the main man striker.
We have heard the same bs from Utd fans for years. Maybe Noni/felix have a terrible attitude or train badly just like alot of those players at Utd like pogba etc
Bro, idk why people are upset about only our 3rd loss this season. At this point last season, we weren't in the top 10. And just look at United. They have still never recovered from SAF retiring.
I'm an Ipswich fan, and I love what you're saying. If clubs were run by these sensationalist fans, clubs would have a new manager every 2 weeks! I call them out for their ignorance. There is power in words. So, be careful what you say about the club that you love!
They need to wake up and smell the coffee if they had supported Chelsea in the 60s 70s they would be pulling their hair out but real supporters stuck with it and we still attended every game as Chelsea is our club and we could never support anyone else and never will ktbffh
Why is there hate in the fan base. Even in season where teams win the league they still loss games. Not to talk of this Chelsea side, how many of us could say at the beginning of the season that they could see us in second place at mid season
My only issue with Maresca is his refusal to budge from his beliefs, Chilwell is a world class player and could greatly help this young team, i could not believe he didn't start against Everton last week. i understand he has a certain way of doing things and it's working but not doing what's right for the team because it's not your way is just stubborn and could be his downfall.
Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, are we in trouble after dropping 4 pts? So sad, so sad after getting used to winning somehow. Decompressing time to overcome tne holiday blues. So new routine: same line-up, 1 substitution, late substitution(s) 75 - 85 mins, academy bench, key players not in game day squad, learning experiences from our losses.
I understand what you are saying, but i think fundamentally it is the fact that we lost to Fulham. Any other team and I don't think it matters. Another argument would be to understand that poch did a good job in the second half of the season and maybe it's just a run off of that form. Then there is the fact that over the last 2 matches, he hasn't reacted to situations tactically. We were under pressure for the majority of that second half and you could see they were gonna score. Yet he takes off a player that's working hard (Jackson) and swap him for someone who is not the profile you want for this game (Nkunku). Then that's his only substitution. That's what I feel people are concerned about. So it makes me feel like he is stubborn and not likely to change tactically where the game needs it. That's my concern. For me i'm fine with the result. Just hope we don't get passed by Forest .
11:18 "I just think he's a better football manager than me." Yep, this is pretty much where I'm at. I mean I don't like when we lose and I have opinions of what I think is right or isn’t but it's crazy so many of us think we would do a better job. The reality is that we're saying all these things based on such little information.
Maresca's style of play needs more time(understandable) Chelsea were trying to force passes that were not there and losing the ball even when they were leading 1-0. Just observation no complaints. We will develop...
As a Chelsea fan, this mentality that it’s fine to draw against Everton and lose to Fulham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Citeh bothers me a lot. We’ve been presented with a golden opportunity because City, Spurs, United and the like are in poor form. There should be no reason not to demand excellence because it might not happen next season when every team brings in reinforcements. Say no to mediocrity!
I think the fans are being too harsh with Maresca considering where the team was in terms of performance the last 2-3 years. He's not perfect of course he has his flaws but i think we are going in the right direction no need to panic. We need to give him a break its his first season !
Definitely frustrating match, but I’m confused as to why “fans” are losing their minds. The way I see it is we were bound to drop points at some point, and I would rather lose 1-2 to Fulham than it be a truly embarrassing result like our game against Arsenal last season. We may not be title contenders, but we are a serious team again and the sky’s the limit.
I think we were so lucky to have been dealt the players we have, and on top of that, probably one of the most promising managers the European leagues have at present. As a Chelsea fan since the mid sixties, I would say, things are exciting as a Chelsea fan, and will enjoy how things unfold. I can remember in the Drogba, Lampard, Czech, and Terry days, when things were going so well, that in some respects, the edge was taken away. Don’t get me wrong, it was nice at the time, but almost too easy ! Fully behind the current set up. A saying to remember, “it’s a sad day when you stop learning” Ipswich 4 Chelsea 0 !! OMG nooo ! 😂💙💙
No issues with Maresca. My fear coming out of some of the recent games (not just the losses), is that we are very very thin at certain positions. We technically have players competing for a lot of those spots, but they aren’t necessarily playable because they can’t perform the needed jobs. Nkunku can’t fill in at striker. He might be able to fill in for Palmer, but that’s not what but ally happens. We lose a ton of things Jackson does when Nkunku comes on (hold up play and set piece defense just being two). Gusto gets hurt? Desasi, which actually hurts us being in the pitch, or a very young Josh. Veiga is a great player, but if you sub him at a point Cucurella is having to defend against an overload on the wings like a traditional fullback ? That isn’t Veigas game. He’s more a backup at LCB . Our midfielders are getting ultra gassed. Lavia can’t stay healthy. And the mgr doesn’t trust guys like Casadei to do a job at the level of the PL. we need Santos back and either a healthy Lavia or an additional player there. Felix, George and others are talented but come with huge risks because they tend to lose possession in bad areas. 5 minutes left in the game near midfield? Time for a blind backheel. And … finally…. We still don’t have a partner with pace for Colwill when Fofana is out. These are all areas that need addressing if we are to go up a level.
I want ya'll to look at the game closely, Cole Palmer stop playing the game in the second half of the game. Something happened in the locker room @ half time.

Hide your head in the sand and pretend everything's all right.
Disgusted with the performance but Chelsea won the PL in 2006 losing 3-0 to Middlesbrough and 1-0 Fulham over a 38 game season these games happen
Yan , the danger in accepting the results from the Everton and Fulham game is that it can gradually become infectious, and the players begin to lose confidence.
If that becomes the case, then the conversation changes
@FootballTherapy the point you dont allow that in a second. That is what separates the great teams from the other teams.
@@enocknarh8935 but a bit of context is always important, just crapping on players and the manager is unproductive (which is what’s happening)
Yan, you are the “Voice of Reason”. Agree with you and most of the comments. Growing pains
Tbh we have been overperforming. Not overperforming the teams potential, but if we finish above 4th, we're cooking.
There is no problem with losing or drawing games
The issue is manager making unnecessary changes which aren't required like neto playing as full back with gusto playing lb or cm
Disasi playing instead of veiga
We are not using our subs and playing same players even when they are not performing which shouldn't be the case
We were playing very well for 15 games in title race then manager makes nonsense changes to get chelsea out of title race and ease pressure on himself
I was angry yesterday, very angry but once I calmed down and thought rationally and watched your video i felt better.
Maresca reminds me of Mourinho in his early days at Chelsea. I think over time he will bring us great success because he will iron out the creases and build a solid defence.
Well said that man.
Well said Yan. Well done to Fulham and hopefully the Chelsea boys will learn so much from this match.
Chelsea need to play to win . Instead of playing to not lose . Players were knackered and EM did nothing.
This is the only channel that's rational😭🙏🏽
This is what happens when you’re over performing and then have a couple of bad results. Chill out people
Really appreciate you being the voice of reason, Yan. I didn’t think so.
without watching, i think you can be angry and disappointed about how we played against Fulham because we weren't good enough but also see that the season as a whole has gone well and we can push for that top 4
keep sending this message brother. Its so refreshing
I am really pissed off at Maresca.
He didn't do anything to change the match against Everton and he didn't do anything to change the game against Fulham.
Same mistake in two matches straight after each other, that's not good enough!
(Does not mean I want him out, but it does worry me and what Leicester fans said about Maresca worries me)
Fair criticism. Though I’d wait for a bigger sample size before cultivating your opinion on him in testing times
Well put Yan.
So many spoilt fans, top 4 is the only objective and we’re smashing it, Fulham are a good side I’m not worried at all
Your true feelings about Fekix are starting to show.
Exactly unc
those same whingers have an agenda and its hatred of the owners. Negative outcomes on the pitch fuel what they are about and enable them to spit venom. Success on the pitch is not ideal for them at all.
The players was leggy we needed subs and meresca didn't make changes.. like against Everton Brentford..
Not even half a season under Meresca and there are so many positives, crazy how impatient and entitled some fans are...
The only thing more crazy than social media comments is taking notice and discussing them as if they are relevant!!!!
Yan, because we have the youngest team, it is the Coaches job to help the team with in-game management . Trust me, if Maresca had changed at least for 3 fresh legs, we would have at least gotten a point.
I agree, hindsight is 20-20 though
No bro I like Enzo but when he does crazy things like yesterday and against Everton got to call it out not saying he should go he’s been good but leaving Noni out the squad for tactical reasons that don’t make sense and making one sub that doesn’t make sense tactically we gotta say something Silva out coached Enzo yesterday sorry but not sorry still like him tho
Yan is one of the very few people who just gets it my man
I was frustrated to lose in the way that we did. But it will be a learning experience for the squad. Though it does highlight we need an actual back up for Jackson or just an alternative option. No hate to Nkunku but he isn’t the main man striker.
We have a huge bench and we don't use them😊
It is not digging out colwill by pointing out, he was jogging when he should have been sprinting!
Nah, im convinced those negative comments are United trolls
Maresca's ego will be his downfall fighting with felix and madueke is an ego problem drewsbury hall wasnt even there
We have heard the same bs from Utd fans for years.
That’s why I agree when he said we not in the title race because we let in two late goal and lose
Love Maresca and what he had done but still think if Cucurella was in the left back position then maybe he would of stopped them on the second goal 🤔
I'm an Ipswich fan, and I love what you're saying. If clubs were run by these sensationalist fans, clubs would have a new manager every 2 weeks! I call them out for their ignorance. There is power in words. So, be careful what you say about the club that you love!
Angry people get angry.
I’m melancholy so I get more of that when Chelsea lose.
They need to wake up and smell the coffee if they had supported Chelsea in the 60s 70s they would be pulling their hair out but real supporters stuck with it and we still attended every game as Chelsea is our club and we could never support anyone else and never will ktbffh
I think people mistake the old chelsea with prime man city. Losing to a team like fulham is very on brand with the old chels
Why is there hate in the fan base. Even in season where teams win the league they still loss games. Not to talk of this Chelsea side, how many of us could say at the beginning of the season that they could see us in second place at mid season
Big Up Yan hope youre well. UTC
Unfortunately this is why we're not ready to really challenge for the prem..we're not finishing teams off..one goal is never enough. This proved it
My only issue with Maresca is his refusal to budge from his beliefs, Chilwell is a world class player and could greatly help this young team, i could not believe he didn't start against Everton last week. i understand he has a certain way of doing things and it's working but not doing what's right for the team because it's not your way is just stubborn and could be his downfall.
No matter how painful the lost was ,losing is still part of the game up the blues forever
Clearly these fans believed we were in a title race the way they going on
I understand what you are saying, but i think fundamentally it is the fact that we lost to Fulham.
A CENTRE DEFENDER TALISMAN will also help us so much right now as well as CONVENTIONAL STRIKER
11:18 "I just think he's a better football manager than me."
Yep, this is pretty much where I'm at. I mean I don't like when we lose and I have opinions of what I think is right or isn’t but it's crazy so many of us think we would do a better job. The reality is that we're saying all these things based on such little information.
Maresca's style of play needs more time(understandable)
Chelsea were trying to force passes that were not there and losing the ball even when they were leading 1-0.
Just observation no complaints.
We will develop...
COULDNT AGREE MORE!
Any Chelsea fan saying 'Maresca Out' doesn't know ball, like at all
i just hate how we have 2 bad games and people are shitting on the manager despite having us in the top 3.
Well played Fulham yesterday, best team on the day won.
COYB.💙
Its the way we lost that makes us unhappy but the players are still very young
As a Chelsea fan, this mentality that it’s fine to draw against Everton and lose to Fulham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Citeh bothers me a lot. We’ve been presented with a golden opportunity because City, Spurs, United and the like are in poor form. There should be no reason not to demand excellence because it might not happen next season when every team brings in reinforcements. Say no to mediocrity!
I've learned over the last 30 years: The worst part of being a Chelsea fan is other Chelsea fans.
It's the way we lost it was the lack of effort It was no reaction from the championship manager
We all know we aren’t ready for the title yet. This proved it. We have a good team that is only getting better. I’m just glad it’s not two years ago.
A saying to remember, “it’s a sad day when you stop learning”
Ipswich 4 Chelsea 0 !! OMG nooo !
Great analysis and I agree we need Santos back
I want ya'll to look at the game closely, Cole Palmer stop playing the game in the second half of the game. Something happened in the locker room @ half time.
