Thank you so much bro I was just using my dads riveter behind his back and this happened I tried pushing dose jaws back with a screw driver so i could hopefully get both of them out but the screw driver just got stuck in there as well I tried pulling back the screw driver but its handle just ended up breaking while i was pulling While planning to hide it and just replacing it with an identical new one i though that searching about it wouldn't hurt anyone You saved my ass man Appreciate it
Thanks for the demonstration. It just helped me out this morning. First time using a rivet, got stuck on my first try, who do I turn to for rescue? RUclips of course. Took the machine apart, took out the pin, reassembled and riveted away with no more issues.
Very details. I have my Riveter gun for many years, the pin will stuck very time. Plan to by new one. But see your video. Find out I have been using the wrong tip. No more pin stuck. My methods is used one size up tip.
Did a lot of assuming in this video, drop them in? Line up with what? “ you can just see that” no, can’t see anything Can anyone recommend a video of someone who explains it better?
Best way is to not take the spring and bits out. Just take the first screw off, hold a finger over the spring, release the handle back to open, and let the piece fall out the front . (Front nipple should be removed) Then just put the back screw in and you are done.

Worked well to get the stuck pin out, unfortunately, the next rivet I used it on , got stuck again.

Same. My Kingchrome always stuck even after using the correct one. Frustrating.

This thing is trash. Even using the right sized tip the pin keeps getting stuck.
Screw iin a bigger tip will free up the stuck rivet
That didn't help on my STAR brand riveter, anyway - I had to disassemble it
In my riveter can't open that part to remove the stuck pin ;don't know what to do i think I'll have to buy another riveter again
The bigger tip just got stuck as well in my case
