As a nail tech, you showing me your lamp collection is the equivalent of a guy showing someone his car collection. It's just heaven :DDD

@@charlenehall9152 yes what's your point?
Haha, exactly, come to my garage and take a look at my collection :)

Thank you
Please do an updated video on all your favourite lamps. We really need it. It's so hard to choose now with so many lamps on the market.
I had no idea that LED and UV lamps were not one in the same… Also, I recently learned that different brands and different polishes are not compatible with all different types of wattage. For example I had to look up Daisy gel nail polish and find out they use 60 W lamp. I had a 36 W lamp and I had to repeatedly use the 100 second setting.

Honestly, I got a cheap-ish UV lamp off of ebay (branded "professional nail dryer") and I am really happy with it so far. The bulbs that came with it are legit, and the built quality is good. It also has an inbuilt fan that helps with the heat. I decided that instead of buying a whole new LED lamp - since I don't wanna risk getting a cheap one, they're still not up to par, I can get the LED bulbs and replace the ones in my current lamp. it's a simple upgrade that doesn't cost much, and still gives you the option for UV if you happen to need it.
just my 2 cents on the whole thing.
great video though - if I ever decide to get a LED lamp, I'll go back and check what you suggested :)

Thanks for providing a detailed description for the lamps. Really helpful 👍🏼
I am using Sensationail UV LED 4.5 watts, I use this for sensationail UV Gel Polishes tried this with clear gel builder and I have been curing for over 15 minutes, this is auto setting flashes after 15 seconds and turns off after 30 seconds, I bought the gel builder for fun and to finally try at home and until I watched this video I did not know you need high wattage to cure! It all make sense now, I have subscribed, THANKYOU 💅🏻 Now, to learn how to get this builder off and back to just gels! ☺️🧡☀️💕🧁
I have the last lamp with the low heat for a couple of weeks now and it is 48watts and it cures some gel polishes in 10 seconds which is crazy but it does work. It cures builder gel in 30 seconds and the low heat does work for me and my clients really nice. It wasn't that expensive and I really enjoy it so far.
does it still work? it has some bad reviews but maybe they were a bad batch?
Does it still work
@@XIIxMysticxIIX it worked for a year perfectly
@@junemoon708 it worked for a year perfectly
I used to use UV lamp then I discovered young nails new model of led lamp.
Omg it works so fast and perfect I love it x
Thank you so much , this is going to be my mums birthday present ❤️❤️❤️
Wow, great present!
This is very helpful. I spent $50 on my very first UV lamp for personal use & it takes 2 minutes to cure each coat. It’s not the best out but it gets the job done, I’m excited about my doing my own mani/pedis ☺️ I’ll definitely be upgrading to LED/UV when i get better
I have the MirrorPure uv led lamp. I just do my own nails but I do suffer from heat spikes when I go to a nail tech. This lamp is great. I don't have heat spikes at all.
Thanks for this ! I just got a 52W UV LED light for $20 after watching your video
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get it?
Elsie Murphy Peters I found 48W UV LED lamps on eBay and Amazon for $20-$30 from Australia 😊

I love your videos. Your English is incredible! I have just bought the Sun5 UV/LED 48W lamp - it looks the same as the last one you showed. I have just started using builder gel on myself at home, and the lamp was great value - less than £20!
Lara Tiara great Lara. Can I ask where you got your lamp?
Did you know that it's not 48w Because the power supply is not powerful enough. It's just a 36W
This was absolutely amazing!! Very helpful and d educational… good job!
I just developed an allergy to HEMA, Di- Hema & probably even something else.
It's really frustrating.
& had to give all of my products to a friend.
So now I start all over again.
I just bought Hema- Free, Vegan "PinkGellac"
The colors are nice & I have zero reaction BUT the take forever to cure.
I think it's my lamp. It's a small "Makartt" lamp that came in m 1st starter set. So this video is very helpful.
The one you show at 7:49 is the one I have! I LOVE IT. And i have 3 lamps. I love the no heat mode and the ease of cleaning and the sensor for turning on the lamp automatically.
@Andrew i a just starting out i am confuse too much in the market which one to buy,
when i do my research and i read the comment on amazon a lot of people are complaining that the machines dont work, or stop working after one month use,
some dont cure at all so, i am afraid i dont wont waste time and money please help which one to buy which one is the best ???Thank you
I'm a cosmetologist and I'm always in water, or doing stuff around the house. In that case my gel polish dont last, and I'm tired of wasting money. I tried to do my own gel polish today, and the the led curling lamp took a long, and some of my nail were still wet....that was only one hand I was able to try. I have a professional mini led curling lamp; I believe I need to upgrade!
i love all my lamps from the SUNUV lamp brand, they are the biggest manufactures of the new hybrid lamps using the new diode technology just like your miropure lamp, the low heat mode is great one on my clients is so sensitive and this works great!! also there is a double power mode on the other models of the sunuv lamps and they cure hard builder gel in 15 seconds only!!!
Baja Rosie hey hun how watts is your lamp?
I have the 48w to help cure dark colours cause i love dark colours.
Baja Rosie what's your opinion on Sun x from sunuv
My mini sun broke with the third use
Hi Hunn Do These Lamps Dry On Normal Nail Polish? Thx
This was incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!
You are welcome!
Awesome and informative video! I would have needed this earlier when I tried to decide which lamp I should buy.😅 Now I have the last one you showed , the Miro Pure and I looooooove it so much! Never had a better lamp. It really cures everything and that in 30 sec. The low heat mode is also awesome, although I thought I wouldn't need it. But if you work with fibergel it makes a huge difference. No burning. You should try it.
Thanks for your awesome videos, keep it up 👌🏻💕
Sarahs Knails does it cure regular nail polish?
i always wondered what were the UV LED lamps for and now I know! Thanks for the video!
Shes so likeable 🥰🤗 and thanx so much, this really cleared things up for me. 💜 i'm going for a 2 in 1 🤩
Just recently, as in a week ago, decided gel would be my best option for overlays and I went with the SunUV Sun8 36 watt UV/LED lamp. Can't wait to sink my teeth into this!
Cool! I'm also thinking of trying Sun lamps, heard a lot about it, Please share when you try :)
I might even make a video channel as am about to start refreshing my knowledge in nail technicals! I trained way back in the dark ages of 1997 when chrome polish went out of fashion the first time LOL
any news about this Sun8 36 watt UV lamp Is it GOOD?
u explain this perfect thanks.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you very much for all this information 🙂.
Thank you for in useful info. It was really helpful
Glad to hear that!
This was really informative and helpful, thank you! 😊
Very helpful, thank you from south africa
i am really get fan of you i mean for your explanation...........................................
The first lamp you shown is the same I have, it’s so pathetic and as I’m writing this, that lamp has spoiled my gel polish!! I’m so frustrated but I’m glad I found your channel
you are way too pretty in every ways i see you dont need nail fashion to make me fall for you you look so beautiful and lovely
Thank you for sharing ❤
I love your nails!
Thank you so much for this video, I was confused on which lamp is best but I think I know now 👍😊
Thanks for this video. I just got my starter set from Le Mini macaron with the maxi led lamp. It has only 5w 🤔. I think I’m going to get the nsi lamp because I love doing my nails 💅🏼 and I want it to go fast and last for as long as possible
Lovely. Thank you
I use the new CND lamp. It cures both. Absolutely love it 👌
I was thinking to buy CND led lamp. Irs pricy before i buy i want you to ask does it cure all gel polish. Like IBD, Essie. Because i use different polishes
Very informative Anastasia :-) I've got what after all these years of having it and not think it was supposed to be a dual lamp, but not sure as not got the box anymore - damaged with all the use it had. Plus with moving can't locate my instructions for it - there's no name on the top of it either. I will have to try and look for the make and model of this one as it's been a brilliant lamp (gift from my husband when I first started training back in 2014)I I know it wasn't cheap but it's huge compared to my other lamps. It can easily accommodate two hands at once, and it's also got a removable bottom for pedicures. It also when I first got it had 6 bulbs in it, but I was told that I needed a certain wattage for curing - this was when training. Even though my others bulbs may not had been an issues but thought I'd best do for training purposes. I've got 2 UV Lamps, was only supposed to have one as a replacement but was sent 2 forgot the make of them. Got these off Ebay they work fine for my needs, handy to have two and at least it's good to have for any of my gel polishes of my NSI hard gel or any other products that only are UV curable. But I've also just recently been sent an LED lamp from Essential Nails - was part of a training kit love it it's small and portable for mobile work - when I'm better LOL. This is brilliant for 30s curing (have to use timer on that one) it's got a continuous timer on it (on off) 45s and 60s. I cannot however, take to bottom off as it's sealed as a unit so have to be careful when I need to clean it. Not tried it with my hard gel yet!!
@Clare Hanson please help , I am just starting out wanted to do at home gel nail polish but when i do my research to buy the lamp and gel polish on amazon i read a lot of people are not happy the lamp dont work or dont cure it is a waste of money even the gel polish some said that it was a fake gel polish so i am confuse as to which one to buy please help i dont want waste my time and money please help which one to but .....Thank you
Wow I never though about a nail lamp that protects against heat spikes 🔥
This video helped me so much!! Thank you!!!!
I have recently bought the MiroPure 36w hybrid lamp, and it's great. I don't think I heard you mention the sensor that it has, where when you put your hand in it automatically comes on and goes off when you take it out...great for a quick flash cure without having to press any buttons. It tells you how long you've had your hand in for as well.
Thanks for showing all the different lamps...very helpful.
Vanessa J I just got it too. What are you using it for? I use it for gel nail polish and I can see it lifting the next day.
I had a broken nail so used a dual form with a soak off Blue Sky builder gel in it. It turned out really well, and it was my first time doing it too. It lasted 2 weeks...would have been longer but my nail grew. I also used a gel polish at the same time and it cured perfectly. I've never had any lifting. I make sure I prep my nails well first...do my cuticles, clean with alcohol, used a primer then base coat. I've just remade my nail again, and again it's turned out really well. Maybe it's your prep that's making it lift. Hopefully others might be able to advise you too. Good luck.
Vanessa J I buff my nails, use nail prep, then dehydrator. Thin base and two layers of gel nail polish, then top coat. Used elite 99 nail polish. Maybe there's something wrong with the nail polish? So frustrated.
I use Elite99 base, colour and top coat, but never had a problem with it. You have got it on the full power not low power haven't you? Sorry I can't suggest anything else.
Vanessa J but you said you used it on the builder gel first not your natural nail right?
oh thank u so so much, i just start to be nailstylist, u just saved my life xxx
I just got the gellen gel kit with a 72w lamp for £34.00 what a great deal 😊😊😊
Thank you so much this is so helpful!!
Love your video, straight to the points and covered all my questions :) Subscribed!!
Thank you ! I needed this information I've been thinking of which one to buy
Hello,
I am in the arduous process of finding the correct type of Nail Lamp for my wife’s Christmas present. Your reviews are helpful, however; it would be nice to include in your review the Brands/Make, and most important of all; the price range for the lamps you pointed-out in your reviews. Other than that, great job!!
You can get SunUv 36w to 48w the price starts at $32, $36 dollars and up on Amazon, Walmart online has it too.
I enjoyed your video thanks! I got the sollution 👍
This was very helpful! Thank you!
Very informative, nice video. Thanks 😀
I literally just bought 2 of the last lamp ... yay xx
Thank u very much for explaining the diffrent type of lamps. I am very interested on the last lamp u haven't tried because I bought one as well and have not yet used mines. I am as Los a beginner so would love to learn what u say and teach a out the last lamp, thank you kindly.

This video is so helpful 👌🏼🙌🏼 Thanks for the information 💕
Such an useful video for me. I'm buying a new lamp. PLEASE! Remember you promise a video on "colors of polish (aprox) you need". That would be great! 😗🇦🇷
I just bought the max Estrada darling LED 48 watt lamp with a timer. It looks nice but I always get nervous buying a new product like that
Hi dear, very useful information. I am looking for the lamp that you showed 2 in one no name. I love that has the bottom to turn on both functions. Where can I get it. Thanks
I am looyto get in to nails for now I'm doing them on my self also family and friends for free so I need a new lamp and this was helpful for me to make an inform choice
Thankyou for such a helpful video x
amazing video thank you
So a good tip for beginners would be the light patteren!? Solid bulb is UV spotted bulbs are LED if they cant tell the difference by reading uv or led ! It took me forever to tell the difference between the too cause boxes usually say UV/LED or they supply wrong instructions 😆😂💁🏼🤦🏼🤣
Thank You! 😊
I currently use the Makartt pink lamp and I really don’t like it, thank you this helps me decide!
Very informative video👍🏾😻😻😻
Hello. Great video! I have a question: My false nails keep popping off on day one! I believe I have prepped my nails properly. I use the Gelish pro 45 led lamp and the products it came with. I bought it a really long time ago. Do I need to update? Happy to if I need, but don't want to throw away $ if it's not actually the problem. Any suggestions on how to keep my nails on for a week?
Hi, have you had a chance to play with the miropure lamp yet? What are your thoughts? Do you still recommend? Thanks
UV Light from LED light 48Watt is what I’m looking at 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
i ahve a 36w lamp but it dosnt dry my gel polish fully even after sitting under the lamp for 5 min and i have nail gel which also dosnt set up under the lamp, i dont know what to do
Thanks my lady but where can l get bulbs to replace
Very helpful thanks!
Very helpful video
I am just starting out now and I love all of your advice and helpful tips and design ideas. I was wondering how you would suggest setting up your work area if you are working at a clients house and only have one lamp. How can I cure one hand while painting the other one without having two lamps? Where should I place the lamp etc. I have the curved lamp that you showed. Thank you.
Thank you This video help me a lot.
I want to do regular polish and gel polish what would be the best lamp for that and what's the best wattage to use
Thanks ☺️
Hei. I need a lamp UV and LED so i can dry also normal nail polishes. I don't want to use extensions, for now. I want to use for hand and feet. I want a last long quality product. Which kne you recommend?
I have 5 lamps 🤦♀️ I definitely get the most use out of my Sun5 (also the cheapest) typical hey?
Hi I'm from India which lamp i use for gel polish please reply
I just recently got the Miro Pure lamp too! I would love to know how the low heat mode works for you.
Great advice.
Great review! Could you review a dipping powder system? What do you think of the KiaraSky dip system?
Thank you, Maria!
Yes, I did review for Gelish dip system, video coming up next week. I haven't tried Kiara yet as we don't have distributor of this brand in my country, but I heard about it so I'm planning to test it too
Hi Anastasia,
I'm new to your channels and I have already learned so much! Your products reviews are the best.
I got the experience the heat spike from builder gel. it kind of feels like hot melted cheese got stuck to my fingernails and there's no way of getting it off until it calms down. Pls help me😂
Banu, I'm working on a video about heat spikes and
another great video coming up - there will be some explanation about it too. Stay tuned😉
Any opinion on the DND lamp??
I have bought a uv lamp 150 wattage. Is this okay to use?
Hello, I was wondering if this video can also apply to someone interested in curing uv resin? Sorry don't know if there is a difference. I'm just not sure if I get uv or LED
I have no idea honestly :)
But probably... since it's UV
Hey I use a uv/led nail lamp to cure loca glue for my screen protectors. Resin I've read should be cured with a higher watt like 60-120. I use a uv/led 90 watt nail lamp for my screen protectors but. I know that's over kill but incase I ever get into doing my nails I got the equipment lol.
Love your accent
Aw thank you!
What about regular polishes? Which should i get?
I like Color Club, Morgan Taylor, China Glaze
I ment the type of lights led or uv. Thanks
@@Heather-os3cq I've always wondered that too. Some people just want to paint their nails with regular polish and still be able to cure them. I never understood the fixation with gel curing only.
With regular polish just use quick dry top coat or drops. Lamps don't dry regular polishes as they don't contain photo initiators.
what does it mean if a lamp has really high wattage? is that a factor in quality? cause i've seen some low cost amazon/shein lamps with a super high wattage, and i can't figure out the reason when there's suppossed high quality lamps on the market with a standard 36wattage
Can you please tell me your opinion about Nolia lamps?i ordered mine and I’m waiting to see how it works 🙋🏻♀️
Haven;t tried it, sorry
I just ordered a 54w melody Susie uv/led lamp. Im starting to think thats a bit extra 😂😂
I bought the first one and mine peeled off right away. I was so upset.
Was it hard gel?
After a 7 year pause i ve started again doing manicure/ pedicure... so i bought CND LED 3C Lamp...it costs a lot of money (250€) but i thing the result is great! i just realised i need a second one...so...do you think i could use something cheaper as working polygel?????...i need your option🤗🤗🤗(by the way ..your videos are so helpful...thank u for sharing your knoledge with us🤩)
Where did you get your LED lamp
What are your thought on this one Gel II® Pro-Cure 2.0. This newest LED lamp.
So i have a probem with a builder gel. I have a 9 W led lamp and it s not curing the gel after repeated times. Should I buy a more powerful lamp or what??
Question, I have a 36watt uv lamp, one gel polish won't cure even when I have it in there for 15 minutes. What's the problem there? I don't understand it
Thank u
What do you if there is a heat spike? Keep the nail curing out take it out?
i see this is a couple years ago but wondering if there's any new info on lamps -- specifically for the new polygels? i have been cosmetologist for years but only now thinking of adding back nails and there's SO much to learn--- when i went to school, the only options were silk or linen wraps--- no acrylics at all yet, i had to take a class (about 15 years go) to learn about them..
Thank you
