My township has both city water/sewer and well/septic. Not sure how they determin who gets what. I live a 4th mile from a water tower but yet my area is spetic. My town also has municipal water and private water. So depending on what part of town you live in depends on which one you are on.

It would be interesting to learn how they determine which system you get. I guess as long as the quality of the water is good, then it doesn't matter where it comes from.
