That will o wisp didn't worked on tyranitar because dark types negates all status moves used with prankster.. if you were to mega evolve and then use it then it would have worked
at 14:32 the tyranitar is shown to be burnt, so the burn did work. What doesn't make sense is why there was not priority against the medicham, although its likely the game does not use the gen 6 mechanic where the pre mega speed is used turn 1. Although you do present a good point, the willowisp should have failed against Tyranitar
