Finally a filter cleaning video with dirt to clean! All the others just show how to clean a sparkling clean filter. There are many people who dont even know they need to clean filters, but after watching your video many will go and do it out of curiosity
Brilliant, so clear. This is the first one that makes it so easy to understand. I now know what my first problem is. My filter is jammed and won't turn counter-clockwise, so I'll need to get someone stronger than me. Mine looks like one squeezes at the base first and then one turns the filter so that it can come out. Thank you.
This is the best video on cleaning dishwasher filters I've seen thus far, and I've watched many. It is concise and to the point. Thank you for making this valuable video. Now, I have a reference that I can share.
It's incredible how many people don't even bother to clean their dishwasher's filters (or their washing machines' filters for that matter). I clean the dishwasher filter after every cycle and let me tell you - there are always some things left in the filter to clean. And it builds up, if you don't clean it regularly. Also note, that once a month it's a great practice to run the dishwasher's maintenance cycle (most machines do have such maintenance / machine-cleaning cycle, but even if yours doesn't - then use a stronger program with high temp) with special dishwashing machine cleaning / maintenance tabs. Those are not the ordinary tabs, that you use to clean dishes, but special kind, usually sold in packs of 3 - and they are intended to clean the machine itself - maintenance tabs. This prevents grease build ups in your machine, which will surely increase its lifespan, without the need of servicing.
That is normal. The very beginning of every cycle is to pump out any remaining water. After it's done, the dishes will often continue to drip for a while and that water has to go somewhere. It ends up at the lowest point and is usually nasty by the time the next load if run, making it necessary to drain it first.
if making a video on how to clean your dishwasher how about in title say which fucking brand ? I am completely not in any way interested on knowing how to clean a dishwasher that isn't even sold in my fucking country.

Alan your a diamond Son! Thank you for your great but simple video.

Very good detailed video
Thank you 🙏🏻
Is it normal to have water in the filter area. I can’t see it when the base plate is on, just when I take it off to clean.
Yes that's normal! I like to put vinegar in that part and run my dishwasher to clean it

Please put the words right at the bottom not the middle of the screen it deemed it useless for but thankyou for at least trying.
Mu pump keeps running even if the machine is turned off. Defy dishwasher.

Before cleaning your dishwasher, I would recommend buying some soap to clean your mouth
This works with my whirlpool in the US. What are you whining about? 🤦🏼♀️
