This method works well in the early game. Then mid-late game comes, where if you even try to attempt to grab Majima, he will just counter your grab or shook it off for most of the time and the counter probability increases to near 100% when he has battle aura.

Glad that works for you but not work for mine. I mean every time I tried to grab him,he always counter me.Especially when his health in yellow or orange line he will do skill on you if you don't be careful.
you've probably beaten the game by now but just some advice you can actually do ANY heat action to interrupt their healing so if you're not in the style that's required just pull out your weapon it's faster
