I kinda like the Kyberite shield. It's not like an ancient superweapon or powerful Sith artifact, it doesn't have any innate abilities that break the lore or make the user stronger in anyway. It's a just a conductor that allows the wielder to focus and direct their own powers. Honestly, a lightsaber in one hand and a Kyberite shield in the other sounds like a deadly combo, especially if the user has full control over their abilities.
I actually think that shield is a pretty cool concept, it’s like a way to weaponize the force, which is not something the Jedi would ever try to do, but dark side force users would definitely want to try to use the force as a weapon. I feel like it almost just works like charging your force attacks in Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor, except you build up way more force energy inside an object that can contain it, and then release an absolutely devastating blow
Could the Kyber Saber from Freemaker Adventures be retconned into something like Kyberite? Sounds like it does a similar thing. While the LEGO stories aren't specifically canon, something like Kyberite could make something like the Kyber Saber work a bit more than just straight Kyber Crystal.
I feel like pure Kyber still makes more sense for the Kyber Saber, the crystal is the part that actually gets charged with energy or plasma, Kyberite seems to just trap and release force energy, not other kinds of energy, still that’s a pretty cool concept, it would be cool to see more weapons made of Kyberite that can kind of weaponize the force, it’s definitely something only darksiders would use though because the Jedi believe the force should never be used for attack
Nothing, the two cancel each other out. Beskar is highly effective at disappating energy, adding someone that stores energy to it would make the whole thing useless.
Following the accepted nomenclature of minerals, the name of the mineral itself should be 'kyberite', not simply a substance kyber crystals grow in. Sure, the properties of the Force connection between both mineral and crystals may differ, but mineralogicaly it should be technically called kyberite only, with the name of kyber for the crystalline form of said mineral.
I think it would be cool to see the Kyber saber in live-action if there’s ever a reference to the Freemaker show that would make the Kyber Saber canon.
okay, just going off of that explanation, it looks like en excellent way to introduce force based "magitech" into the galaxy. might also be creating an explanation for the first order tech. i wonder what a lightsider would do with this sort of thing
Considering how we've seen a lightsaber-powered blaster rifle, a lightsaber with a stun blaster of sorts in the hilt, and in the old Legends continuity, the Kaiburr crystal (huh, something about that seems familiar... 🤔) from _Splinter of the Mind's Eye,_ and some sort of Force "hadouken" fireball attack (in _Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight,_ as well as one of the Jedi Academy novels with Kyp Durron), the Kyberite shield isn't really all that far-fetched, IMO.
It's possible that the kyberite in the shield isn't what makes the beam itself, just what lets force users channel their power into whatever actually makes the beam.
Star Wars explained quick question which light saber color did Anakin Skywalker deserve blue, green or purple? I would bet my money on purple because we all know in Canon it, represents balance between both sides of the force light and dark mace windu is an example of that he has everything Anakin Skywalker could’ve been
Dope. Currently running a star wars rpg. This came at the right time

I wonder what sort of properties a kyberite-beskar alloy armor would have.

Thanks, Alex! 🔵🟢🟣

The hidden power of men in kyberite

Hey bro I doubt you'll read my comment but are you gonna do a lore play of dark forces 2 or jedi outcast love your lore plays

anakins should be blue, his is the first lightsaber we ever see. if purple represents balance, anakin very famously is not balanced
but if he was then yes because mace windu is what anakin skywalker should have been right@@sirensongss
Ilum is Not the only one to have Kyber crystals, But Other planets who Support Kyber!
He literally lists several planets in the intro
Yeah maybe watch the video again
