    Nice, thanks.
Just done with my Logitech G Pro X headphones.
One point to note would be to also look at the line in volume level - if set too high you will get interference/noise through this.
Even with a G.L.I in place.

FYI, I tried this solution. It did work... partially.
You can definitely ear yourself, however there will be a latency.
The only way (I think) to avoid this latency would be to have a wireless monitor directly plug into your goXLR (or whatever your Audio Interface or Mixer)
Note: I have Razer Blackshark V2 headset ("ultra low latency" by default). Tested this setup with the M-Track Solo.

I tested this with an ASTRO A50 - on both settings:
Routing through PC via Line in and via the direct aux in on the base station.

  • @Carras111
    @Carras111 3 года назад

This video is not only helpful it can actually be used to show the loss in sound quality when doing this. I use the part around 24 sec where he says "not, nooot" as I find it highlights where the sound becomes scratchy as compared to how it was before. Keep in mind this is before the Ground Loop Isolator is added to the mix but I am not sure if that is meant to remove background static only or if it is also meant to make sounds that his voice makes at that point not scratch as if I was using a cheap headset that could not handle the frequency of his voice.

    • @Carras111

This is just what I’m gonna need when I upgrade to my XLR setup. I have a super messy digital setup rn with VoiceMeter and I’ve run into loads of problems lately where I can’t use my Headset (Corsair Virtuoso) and my USB Microphone. VoiceMeter and it Windows will only let me use either of the microphones, if I do get both to work, I don’t get sound through the headset. This seems to be some bus related issue and it’s really annoying hence why I want a GoXLR so I can route all my stuff through there and have it be a single device. The reason I got VoiceMeter in the first place was so I can separate my discord audio from my system Audio so I can have music playing when my stream starts and still be able to talk to discord.

Very thankful for this. Is there a workaround with the delay on mic monitoring? Or thats how it is?
I’m not used to hearing my voice with the delay lol. Thanks man!

There is a “Line Out” port on the back of goxlr mini that will do same thing if you wanna free headphone port to later use for wired headsets …..just FYI

Can you still use the GOXLR faders with this method of using Line-In?

    Thanks for this guide.
Will the GLI not lower the volume a bit?
And if I want to use the mic on a wireless headset. Is it just to connect the mic jack on the GOXLR to the line out port on my pc? Should there be another GLI for that aswell?

How is it possible that my Razer Tresher 7.1 Wireless Headset works with the Go XLR Mini without any AUX cable? I just changed the audio listen settings from Broadcast Stream Mix to the the Razer Headset and it works fine. I can use the Go XLR in its full funtionality and still can plugin a aux headset on the front.

Thats actually way smarter, you basically have a line out but internally not physically like with the AUX cable. So you basically have a full mix of all the outputs you would normally hear with the GoXLR Mini. Thank you very much for the headsup, I was about to buy stuff I dont need.

With the way the video shows, you are able to utilize the faders for yourself as well as the stream so you know what stream hears minus your mic. faster audio adjusting.

@@StaticReed You can do the same with the method as he mentioned in the comment.
