Never imagined that these videos would be the start of a multi million dollar business. ANYBODY can do it and I want to show you how in my Free 1 Hour Training: lostcreatoracademy.com/freetraining
You are an inspiration for fellow travel vloggers. Its great to see you improving the cinematic quality of videos with better equipment, color grading and awesome drone footage.
Lost LeBlanc Hey Christian, thanks again for another great vlog. I suggest you to visit Malaysia; Penang (check out Gurney Drive for dinner time, Langkawi Island (go for Sky Trex adventure & take a cable car up to Mat Cincang Mt., visit some of other islands around it or rent a yacht) and Borneo (Kuching during the World Rainforest Music Festival and Sabah in late May). Fun fact: Sabah & Sarawak are the states with different ethnicities and are different than Peninsular Malaysia. In Kuching city, top suggestions are the seafood in Top Spot, the Sarawak Cultural Village near Damai Beach whereby the World Rainforest Music Festival be held (July 14-16), and Bako National Park, blue waters with clusters of weirdly shaped islands. You might also want to include Mulu National Park in your list, holds one of the longest limestone cave network with underground water stream and the best time to go is July - September. In Sabah, there's a few paradise, Bohey Dulang - a must, Mabul Island, Mataking Island, Kapalai Island - a must, Bodgaya Island - floating village of Bajau Sea people, Mount Kinabalu - climb only during February, March or April. So far, these are the tips I can share with you and if you are interested to visit lemme know I will try to give you more infos. It will be amazing if you are thinking of coming to Malaysia. Cheers! 😎
Thanks for taking a moment to speak about the Cambodian genocide. Its easy to skip over difficult subjects so I really appreciate your respect, education and awareness of the places you go. Keep it up :)
As a Cambodian I would like to say Thank you for this video, not only show youtube how beautiful cambodia as a city is, but you also talked about Pol Pot region which I do really appreciate. Thank you.
Good video. My parents fled Cambodia before I was born and going there a month ago was quite emotional. You are seeing parts of the country that even I didnt know existed! Im looking foward the rest of the vlogs :)
Thank you for highlighting a tough subject that is part of the Cambodian history! Many people visit this beautiful country not knowing what happened. This was something my parents and relatives experienced first hand and have fled from. Hearing their stories and even visiting the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum once, which was one of the camps with mass killings, definitely did more than enough for me so I understand that it's a hard subject to touch on.
Thank you for covering this Christian. I was a bit curious why you didn't say anything yesterday but glad you covered it today. Good, clear explanation too. Well done man.
It's actually mad how much your channel has grown, I started watching in the Summer 2016 and yo had 80k subscribers and you 200+K!! It's nuts!! Congrats too. Love the vlogs!!
Thanks for addressing this tough but important subject. It's unsettling how many people around the world were never taught about this very recent & upsetting history - it really does need to be talked about more.
That's so weird, I randomly just decided to play pump up the jam for lols like an hour ago AND I'm also here in Cambodia with my gf as well ! love ya vids LeBlanc
Thankyou so much for touching base on the grim history of this beautiful country. I've been to Cambodia twice and I thoroughly enjoyed it both times. I myself did not go back to the killing fields during my second visit as I 100% agree with what you said. Such a beautiful country with so many kind people. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
My parents went through Khmer Rouge, they were very young, one of my dad's sister died during Khmer Rouge. She was in her teenage year as I remembered.
Hey Christian I commented on one of your instagrams about a year ago it's so crazy how far you've come! You were one of my inspirations to quit my job and travel too! This time last year I was in Cambodia volunteering as nurse for about 4 months. Anyway that fruit lady said the fruit was supposed to be $1.50. Enjoy Cambodia!
I've actually read autobiographies of people who survived that regime, very sad, terrible thing. The current government is not to that degree but it's not a democracy no matter what it's labeled. Most people are very poor and have trouble making enough to eat every day. If they live on a farm, and have a bad year due to weather situations or what not, they have to borrow from the bank, and if they can't pay the bank back, they lose their farm. Due to situations like this, even children work, so they can't go to school, and the cycle of poverty continues. There's a lot more going on in Cambodia then cheap travel and beautiful drone footage and its good to see you acknowledging this through your videos.
Great series!! Christian you have a good crew to do it with. You guys work like you have been doing this for a long time together. Love the Drone shots!!
Thank you Christian for a great vlog! I enjoyed seeing all the sights and learning all the information. I especially enjoyed your drone images and your music choices. Love your content! Thumbs up!
To go and travel with your friends is just awesome. Enjoying your vlogs as always, Christian! The part about the genocide was very interesting. More of the history and the culture in your upcoming travels, buddy. I really like that.
So important to remember the past - glad you talked about the history... “Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” -Sir Winston Churchill
Great video and I'm happy you talked about the Killing Fields. It's definitely a hard subject and an eye opener since it happened within the last 40 years of history. It left me feeling a lot more grateful for living in Canada. Looking forward to the next video.
I just hearing about the history and culture of a country. It makes your vlogs also very much more interesting... different to the gadget-talk and other visuals. Well done!
Thank you for sharing the tragedy that happened there. Had me in tears. So very sad. I always enjoy your videos for many reasons....your filming, information, historical coverage and of course your great personality. Thank you for doing these videos for us. Melody :)
My parents went through year zero where doctors, lawyers, teachers, students, military, anyone who might outsmart them were killed. Cambodia is where my parents come from but I don't have the courage to visit. Thank you for sharing this video. How much did it cost you for all the days you're staying in Cambodia?
Oddly, I remember growing up while Pol Pot was in power, and he seemed to be one of the people that the media wouldn't, or couldn't, stop talking about. It takes time for places to really recover. And you have to remember that those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. I've got no idea how to spell it, but Souner or later, he'll get you there. Last comment, if you want workout, an Irish rugger is a good training partner. Advil will also be your next best friend. Stay Lost.
That was a really good video guys and well done for appreciating the history of the country you are traveling in... Respect! That restaurant look good!
Yeah gotta watch again! If you're interested, I am a small youtuber who biked across the country and made daily videos if you want to check them out :)
Hey, I am travelling to Cambodia tomorrow and are curious about what currency you use when travelling? I've heard so many different things from different people when it comes to using usd or their national currency
subscriber 243,390 here! love the videos... I do not subscribe to many people ... but i have been creeping on your videos a lot recently.. .figured I would give you some love... I actually have a pretty solid travel idea/business proposal. I sent you an email through your website a few weeks back about it. Can't wait to see more of Cambodia!
I am responding to the headline that claims that another western Tourist died from Cambodian officials of heart attack / claimed by press from drug overdose. These Cambodian official statement are totally false. The medical toxicology results was completely negative for drugs. meaning this was NOT a drug related death AS claimed by Cambodian officials / press We are asking for your help.
I never knew about the killing fields, but half of my family also died in the war that was I think 37 years ago? Idek but my mom was there she was still a a baby, my grandma was killed and so was my grandmother my 4 years old aunt died too....it was sad I wanted to beat the people who started the war when my mom told me that
another good one. We're about to leave raining cold Slovenia (though it's been wonderful) for rainy cold UK (looking forward to it) and just a bit of envy for the warm sunny Cambodia. Might have to to SE Asia after our year in Europe - 😀😀😀😀
I was just in kampot! Make sure to go to borok national park. It's a great motorbike ride to the top. There's a mountain there you can see the gulf of thialand from the top.
I always love your work but what's with a few of the new style transitions in your last two vids? Are these being added in by the other guys? Seems like a bit of a step back, comes across as very i movie-esque. Nice vid, looking forward to the rest of the series. I loved Cambodia and you're bringing back some amazing memories!

My parents went through Khmer Rouge, they were very young, one of my dad's sister died during Khmer Rouge. She was in her teenage year as I remembered.
Not the 80s, the genocide was between 1975 and 1979. Loving the Cambodia vlogs, Chrstian. I've been there twice and it a wonderful country.

You are one of a very few vloggers who gives valuable information to their audience, respect ✌️
That piano in the outro was just perfect 👌
