I do find it hilarious how many people hate Mary for her choices here when the whole point of the game is that Arthur really should have listened to her and got out of the outlaw life when he still had the chance.
Arthur hated urban civilization. Mary Linton wanted him to leave his life for her but wasn't willing to do the same for him. If it's about being a woman living in the wild, then there was Sadie, Mary-Beth, Tilly etc. living the same life Arthur was. They were protected by Arthur so there's no way in hell, he wouldn't protect Mary Linton. She chose the life of luxury over outlaw life for protection. She didn't trust Arthur so Arthur shouldn't trust her now either.

During the theater show, you can have Arthur try to make a move on her. He’ll slowly try to get his arm around her, but bail after she sees him and it gets awkward lol 😂

It sounds like we’re on the same page. Arthur's loyalty to Dutch and the gang was something he couldn't walk away from, but deep down, he knew that Mary deserved better. In the end, he would have wanted her to find a life far away from the chaos and danger he was a part of. As heartbreaking as their story is, it’s probably for the best that Mary lived on, safe and away from that life.
I’d rather Arthur lived than her. He deserved better than the dirty fate Rockstar gave him. Poor fella never caught break in his whole 36 years on earth.
Maturing is realizing that arthur is the problem. Nobody wants a husband or a wife that roams around doing crimes for a living. And a father resenting a criminal getting close to his daughter is decent human parenting. His feelings dosent mean more than her life.
I completely agree with you Buddy ! No one wants a life partner who's constantly involved in crime, and any parent would naturally want to protect their child from that kind of danger.

Honestly she did the best decision of her life, although she was living a bad life, it was still better than living in worst of worst life like how molly and abigail lived. Like abigail and molly are the best examples of choosing to live sith aurther. And you can see than both of these womens husband died by a single shot.

I think the most "canon" choices would be to accept to save Mary's father then reject her other advances. If Arhur clings onto her, to the past, he sounds like Dutch: "I'm a wanted man.", "We need more money.", "We'll disappear." And the moment he does, Mary... Realizes he's a lost cause. Even when she brought it up, just few seconds later, she regrets it and sees how that Dutch mindset had infected him too. Many theorize why Dutch goes crazy the way he does. Considering how everyone else seems to go mad, it's because he was stuck in the past. In more ways than one. He speaks of the Greeks, the Romans, the Europeans... The past wild west and freedoms... How far the gang has come, who've been with them and no longer... The very concept of "past" quite literally caught up with him in all the possible ways. John catches up to him twice. And on the second time, he just gives up.
Thanks, buddy! Your info was helpful. I learned not to dwell on the past and mess up the future. It's a good lesson for everyday life. Thanks for the wisdom! 😇

You should try to help her on your second run haha
Imagine if Mary was actually talking to those men behind Arthur lol
I didn't even do this mission! I was busy with some other ones and this mission completely slipped my mind lol. I probably would've rejected her too, tbh. I'm sure she's a nice lady, but with Arthur, I can't help but sense the manipulation in her voice and mannerisms. I did help her in Valentine, tho, so that's something.
Yeah, many people miss out this mission.
@@swimmingwizard Good to know that I am not alone then. 😅
But how to do this mission? @@swimmingwizard
After Mary pulls Arthur to avoid being seen:
Arthur: *awkwardly* “Do ya… think he saw us..?”
i cant be the only one who rejected her and got mad when she asked him to do something?? lol i made sure my arthur got over her ass
2:48 Arthur is to cold with it bro 💀
Smartest lady in the game for leaving her gangbanger ex and his going-nowhere extremely dangerous lifestyle.
She made the right choice not getting sucked back in that horrible life.
Yeah, totally agreed. Although her life is not sunshine and rainbows but its way better than those girls at the camp
Main reason I hate her is she keeps leading him on
I hate her because she should leave Arthur ALONE.
If Mary was a Man doing it he would be viewed as a Creep.
Well Mary isn't a man, she is a women who loves aurthor, she loves him,and wants him to change and go ran away from this bad life, and live peacefully till the day they die@@Whocares158
@@z-gamerboy07_22she never lead him on,he chose to reject her wish to change, he CHOSE to remain in a dangerous life style, he chose to say as robber and killer, he chose to remain in the gang. Mary tried to change him in any ways and get him out of outlaw life but he reject her wish. That's why Mary did the right thing by leaving him, even then her love for him stayed for so long and she still tried till the end to help aurthor and run away with him. If she chose his lifestyle, she would ended up like Abigail and Molly.
During the theater show, you can have Arthur try to make a move on her. He’ll slowly try to get his arm around her, but bail after she sees him and it gets awkward lol 😂
Yeah, i should have be more patient instead of walking out right away
Starting to lose argument... "Be kind to me"😂
HAHAHAHHAHA, make sure to use that sentence when u are about to lose an argument
"Your faTHer?!" I laugh everytime I hear him say it😭
mary visits arthurs grave:so i ask for another favor i hate to ask but...
HAHAHAHAHA u never know man
0:01 i've heard that before (every time in the mirror after a girl touches me)
Hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 i think it would take more than a touch to make it happen
I think Arthur would be the type of guy to not settle with anyone from the game. He just never really seemed interested with any of the options in game and the romance felt forced.
The way I responded to Mary the first time I played 💀
"Be kind to me!"
"Nah"
I told her no with her bro ...ended that shit quick, author ain't no simp
Is no one gonna appreciate the graphics this man has
She's like every ex. They run off with someone else then come slithering back years later cause apparently you actually weren't the pos she treated you like. She gets denied every time
Sounds like someone is speaking from experience. Did that happen to you ?
@@swimmingwizard haha! When hasn't it....
Hahaha, have you move on ?
@@swimmingwizard like a spirit into the light!
That is great hahah !!!
i rejected instantly with no thought of who she may be or what the mission was gonna be, just wanted to get on with the main stuff
Ive rejected her many time each time i finished the game now ima do all her missions to find something new
"you came!"
Thats what she said
Hahaha to be honest, i never knew the comment section will be this wild XD
“Yeah, I came.”
Next time I’ll reject her quests, i don’t blame him for how he feel
I will do the something on my second run too. I want to see what is the difference.
Mary loved Arthur...also she was in a lot of her own troubles apart from that...she wanted arthur to leave his gangster life and get settled with her...but arthur was loyal to dutch and couldn't leave the gang...so that is why there live story is incomplete...and it's better because atleast mary lived...aethur would've wanted that too
It sounds like we’re on the same page.
No one wants a life partner who's constantly involved in crime, and any parent would naturally want to protect their child from that kind of danger.
i haven't played the game but only got to hear it from my friends, but i love watching these gameplays! man wish i had more space on ky laptop to play this
You should definitely play it! It's the best game I ever played.
I reject Mary on every play through and it feels good
Well you are missing out.
lmao the fact that 7:59 is the most replayed part of the video is so funny to me idk why
HAHAHAHHAHAH, i know what is everyone thinking
5:48 ❤ Arthur Morgan
I've been through the same thing Arthur has when it comes to this i always say no in all my playthroughs
I am sorry to hear that, i hope that you are feeling better now.
I actually completely missed this mission and did not know off its existence until now.
Check your room table when u are at chapter 4, u will receive a letter from Mary. Once you have read the letter, quickly open your map and find where she is located at. Make sure u find her right away, if not the mission will disappear after some time.
I rejected her, I don't regret it and I would do it again and again, I don't like her... when she talked about her dad and arthur react that way i was like "that's crazy" and then it gives me the choice to reject 🎉🎉
Good choice buddy!
Weirdo kiddo lol
Honestly she did the best decision of her life, although she was living a bad life, it was still better than living in worst of worst life like how molly and abigail lived. Like abigail and molly are the best examples of choosing to live sith aurther. And you can see than both of these womens husband died by a single shot.
You're absolutely right, and I completely agree with you.
Mary : lets run away Arthur
Arthur with 5000$ in hand : we need some money😂
I only accept them because I want high honour either way she doesn’t deserve help.
The perfect way to do this is when you get her letter burn it and continue the game, leave this for the simps
Wonderful, thank you for uploading this video.
Thank you ! Please subscribe if you enjoy my video ;)
"Oh, Arthur..."
„Oh, Orthur“
Bro I don’t think yk how many people id kill to be marry and not fk up😭
i only had the courage to play arthur low honor at my 4th gameplay oh god what is good to say no to this garl
Hahaha, all of us are kind-hearted. We don't have the courage to be cruel to others
Your one video got viral...🎉
Yeah, still working very hard to improve my content so that other video can go viral too 💪💪💪
there is also one route where Arthur didnt die and gets married in the end ... the happy ending one
Hahahaha are u are joking right ?
@@swimmingwizard i have this game installed but didnt played it it ... at the very start of it ...
i went to utube to check for optimize setting for this game and started getting suggestion on utube for the RDR2 ...
in one of the suggestion on utube the video covers all the endings in RDR2 ... which has the "Happy Ending"
now i dont know how much that was ...
umm u do know you can mess around with her a bit in the theater, right? Or at least try to. Instead of watching the show pan the camera around to the front and on her. It's been a while but pretty sure the game throws a button prompt. Don't expect much.. it's just something I discovered.
I didnt know that until someone commented it on this video.
Oh, Orthor
Haha whenever she said that, i felt very cringey
Definitely had this relationship.
Arthur taught me valuable lessons by not repeating his mistakes in our daily lives.
BUMP MARY! I'm shipping him with Charollete. She used him like 3 times, like dang. Arthur deserved more.
Is there any way to keep her from asking me to clean up my appearance?
Haha that is something that worth trying, i am not really sure about this. Anybody around here try it before ?
I didnt even Show up to decide 💀
Hahaha many of the player miss out this mission.
2:59 sigma 🔥🔥🔥
skibidi ohio rizz kai cenat
How i wish i can be like him in 2.59 min
@grumpy0174 sorry buddy, i dont understand
I think the most "canon" choices would be to accept to save Mary's father then reject her other advances.
If Arhur clings onto her, to the past, he sounds like Dutch: "I'm a wanted man.", "We need more money.", "We'll disappear."
And the moment he does, Mary...
One of my poker buddies in the background of the first scene!!
Wow!!! I didn't even know they are from the poker table.
Finally a video with regular arthur where he doesn't have such a hairstyle + big beard, a goofy hat and weird clothing and Mary was just so annoying with the "Oh Arthur..."
HAHAHAHHAHA
I played rdr2 again i did the outlaw first and now on ps5 im doing it again but i shouldve rejected this but i needed honor :(
Can always earn the honor through other way. I rather help others than helping Mary. Definitely will reject her request on my second run.
@@swimmingwizard He better than me, I was always a low honor guy.
Haha this is my first run, i am trying to get high honor, but i will definitely try low honor on my second run 🤣
@@swimmingwizard It’s more fun playing low honor, but I don’t like the sacrifice I had to make in the end, you haven’t finished the story so I won’t spoil👍
Thank you 🙏🏻 buddy!
Yeah I didn’t go to her in Saint Denis to begin with.
Arthur would have been better off with even with just one of the bath girls. Mary put 0 effort into their relationship and showed him 0 respect at any point. She treated him like trash.
