Seriously? I have seen top players on women's and men's side take these breaks. You dont recall Serena or Nadal use the same tactics when losing to distract their opponents?
During the 2024 Brisbane International, Rafael Nadal found himself struggling in the summer heat. After winning the first set against Australia’s Jason Kubler, he took a toilet break to swap out his kit. However, when he returned to the court, the chair umpire warned him for exceeding the allotted five minutes. Nadal did take many long restroom breaks.
This is not the only thing Iga has done. Also during the points there was time when Yulia was about to serve and Iga was turned around or at her towel. She knows what she’s doing and that it can interrupt the flow or her opponents.
Swiatek intentionally does whatever she can to win. If her opponent is playing better than her, she resorts to other tactics. We’ve all seen it many times before with her.
And is that such a crime? Let them immediately disqualify her in years. If you watched Iga's other matches, you would notice that she does everything very slowly, at her own pace. And when Putintseva distracts her opponent in every match, for example, she almost dances when her opponent serves, which is distracting, or mocks her opponent's behavior, which she did in the previous match with Iga, is that behavior okay?
You splitting every hair in four? Everybody have same rules and everybody have theirs own speed! I am also slow with my movement!!! Am I bad in your perfect eyes? Don't pull stupid thing with your personal hate to the public eye, cause you look stupid now....
You have to be more specific about toilet break rules ALL players are allowed to take 2 toilets break after the set. Time of the toilet break is 3 min starting from entering the toilet and leaving the room.. So she did absolutely nothing wrong and came on time to play.Another think Putintseva don't know the rules but she wants to make her own ..
As another commenter stated, there is clear video evidence in the past of Iga waving her hands in a distracting manner just as her opponent was about to hit the ball (Google it to see for yourself; the video does not lie). Thankfully, she has stopped that and, I believe, apologized, but that doesn't change the fact that she did it (she's guilty there, no doubt about it). That is blatant gamesmanship (some might say it's plain cheating). She also has made her opponents wait for her on the court before matches (usually while listening to music with headphones, seemingly ignoring her opponents' welfare), when the umpire has clearly stated to start play. And as recently as her match with Putintseva, she made Putintseva wait for her (at least once, besides the bathroom break) when Putintseva was serving, when the rules clearly say that you must play to the pace of the server. How does that make Iga a great role model for younger players? On the contrary, it doesn't, as it's very disrespectful to opponents and seemingly selfish and arrogant.
@@fjosephgonzales6870 Is an apology not important? And if she hadn't apologized, you would have written that she didn't have the courage to admit her mistake. I've watched many of Iga's matches and you can see that she is always in her zone, for example, how long her opponents and the umpire at the net wait for her when she enters the court, because she always has to do everything as precisely as possible, i.e. put towels and drinks in one place or how long she takes to swing for a serve. She simply does everything so slowly and for so long, at her own pace, such are her habits, and that's also why it takes her so long to come back from toilet breaks, besides, she didn't get a warning so she didn't do anything wrong. Many tennis players take long toilet breaks. I remember once she got a warning for exceeding the time limit on her serve and Iga said directly after the match that others behave much worse on the court, and she simply does everything at her own pace, and not to disrespect to other tennis player. If such behavior is arrogant, what do you call it that Putintseva deliberately went around the net to avoid Iga, or in the previous match between Putintseva and Iga, Putintseva behaved like a goalkeeper in a soccer match, to distract Iga when she was serving, or she mocked Iga's behavior, and that's not disrespect? I would like to come back for a moment to Iga Swiatek performance in Wimbledon 2024. Let's be understanding towards her because she works hard and gives her all. Our criticism should be directed at her coaching staff and her relationship with her psychologist, which should not take place on the court. I am against the psychologist sitting on the court with the coaching team. Outside the court, Daria, her psychologist, can advise Iga if Iga needs it. In the lost match against Putintseva, her psychologist showed visible panic which could affect Iga. On the other hand her couch was calm and restrained. It is Daria Abramowicz who needs a psychiatrist.

There will be hungrier players itching to replace them. It is the flow of tennis. I really wanted to see Naomi, Layla, Madison and Alycia go further, but Jasmine and Danielle are still active. Hopefully they go far. Tennis is very fickle. Doesn't matter what you won last week or last month. It is always a clean slate. Peace.
Very well worded! We as fans want put our own bias in every player we like more then others. Too much hate coming to public eyes, cause we can spit it on this or any other forums. I want my ten favorite players to be #1 but sad thing is only one can occupies that spot. Loosing matches is as basic as winning, but fewer can have streak of constantly doing that winning thing. Stay calm and your time will arrive,,, maybe, if not at least stay in the game. Wish you happy watches, as well as myself...
You've got to be joking. If she broke the rules then she should get vioation, if she doesn't then in worst case you should slam the umpire.
I respected you, but now you're kinda hyena for making clickbait video like that.
you didn’t pay attention because I did blame the umpire and defend Iga lol
@@ChristiansCourt I watched the video, but thumbnail and the title is misleading. That's my whole point
@@REDDOT669 it’s not misleading because she did face a lot of backlash on social media for that. And the quote i used were from numerous fans on X
@@REDDOT669sounds like you’re just over sensitive and upset that this is getting attention. It isn’t the channel creator’s fault that it is getting attention.
Right in this video, I lga admits she uses “bathroom breaks” more like a strategy tactics self coaching session. It’s a tactic that upsets the opponent unfairly in many ways
Każda może skorzystać z przerwy ,co dozwolone nie zabronione. Iga nie jest jedyną która tak robi . Nie pasuje że jest nr.1 i długo jeszcze będzie nr.1.
Iga Swiatek. Many people do not like you. I am one of them..
How's Coco doing???
The topic is about Iga, baby carrot and 2 crumbs between your legs.
Coco out.
She is trying to catch early flight home😂
@@narcyznarcyz-uv4tdShe still has doubles
She is on a LONG LONG Bathroom Break?
In badminton after 11 points the players are allowed to interact with their coaches ….in football/ soccer the coach is constantly coaching from the sidelines …so y not allow the same liberty in tennis in between sets ….
It’s clearly cheating, she said it herself
Swiatek like Raduccanu do everything possible to mess up a match when loosing
usually Putintseva do it much better...
Losing only has 1 's', not 2 you loser (not looser), there's still hope !!
Maybe she had to drop off the Williams sisters
What in the actual fuck are you talking about now
@@bryanmartin5901 as in she had to take a shit...the rest you could infer i think
@@bryanmartin5901 naive...
Well...the solution to the problem is there; when Swiatek plays...just close the toilet.
A lot of players do it - I would rather put up with some abuse of this rule than force players to play constipated. The right woman won today ;)
McEnroe used to argue calls for more 10 minutes. That's why McCam was invented.
This lady that beats Iga is a DRAMA QUEEN should have been happy she was able to do that and behave herself. She had to lose because she is no model for tennis. smh. HATE attitude of peacock players.
Waring for you to talk about Coco and Danielle's shenanigans.
Hey christian would love to see you do a live, maybe at the end or beginning of each slam.
Tennis matches extend to long hours so y shld bathroom breaks be an issue ….Bathroom breaks shld be allowed after every set ….
3 minutes is diabolical. What if you have to poop? That's not enough time to wipe yourself.😮
abig dookie takes time!
@@kevinpatrickcarey3741 lol
I don't see any problem there. I think 7 minutes is reasonable because the time counts at the moment the player enters the toilet or changing area. Maximum is five minutes and it may take a couple since she leaves and returns to the court. Anyway, it did not help her at tall at he end because Putintseva is a better player on grass, she won Birmingham, and she has the experience.
Who cares if you like her or not God loves her and is sustaining her.
pile of bs....Raducanu did same and on top of that faked injury....
Iga is a bad sport! In her post-match interview, she failed to acknowledge Yulia playing well or crediting her performance. She is obviously insecure because she cannot recognise the excellence in another player. How embarrassing for the World Number 1 to behave so disgracefully.
Iga nie chwaliła jej występu bo dobrze wie ,że to ona miała zły dzień . Póki co ma bilans z Julią 4 : 1 ,przez fatalny dzień.
She didn't have to mention it as she knew Yulia was better
Its obscene to only have one bathroom break per match.
Is not bad, not only her, but was defeated most important
Who does number two work for?
Cheater
Your suggestions are reasonable and thoughtful.
Well, if you really need to go, You got to goooo. but if this is used for going over your game plan. I agree with you. there is security with them. so they don't cheat.
They really give Iga a lot, like Andy Roddick saying she’s on her way to becoming one of the Greatest of All Time.. ummm i don’t think she is, She is a Baby Henin, her game is uninspiring.. She isn’t better than others Before her Like Justine Henin, Kerber, Radwanska, Vinci or other players before her with a style like this..
She’s also SNEAKY
How is she sneaky?
@@Questinia1 have u ever seen her scream during a rally when her opponent is making their shot , or how she literally hits the court with her racket and puts her hands up when the rally is overwhelming or she’s in a losing position? She does it OFTEN
@@dwyaneohmar9418 I've seen her do it earlier on but not recently. It hasn't ever been judged a hindrance I don't think. But I know what you're talking about...
butthurt that coco is out of Wimbledon too? stay bitter
Iga is a pouting child at times. After a loss she is always surly and then never gives her opponent any credit. Frankly her style isn't appealing nor diverse.
People who don't menstruate shouldn't comment. Or maybe she had the runs and wanted it to be all over before return? What a silly issue.
Absolutely
It was actually long, but at this tournament it probably takes that long and it must be a long way to the bathroom. Because I've seen it several times already. Second
Iga always does this after losing sets. In Poland we also laugh about it a lot xd. And..don't break any rules...
She is not the only one take bathroom breaks. It is legal. And the only ones who are critical of anything Iga does are the ones just like what posted this video. FULL OF ENVY. And Iga has not been booed with anything she does, she is the only current female tennis player with the largest fan base around the world. So keep your bias attitude.. If Iga is so bad, why are you using her name to gain RUclips revenue?, Talk about a nothing like Gauff.
This Chanel with this commentator about toilet break made me sick. 🤮
I THINK SHE NEEDED TO POOP SILENTLY WITHOUT ANYONE NOTICING IT...
The latest rule is 5m.
5 mins to pee...that is riduculous..it is already a rest....
@@John-v5e These people pee much more than you and I.
She's numberone and she got the right, right?
Shame on IGA. She is so narcissist. Always thinking about herself. No wonder she has no friends in WTA.
Her friends include Sakkari, Garcia, Jabeur, Osaka, and Juvan.
@@michax77 Sakkari, the player who doesn't know how to shake hands after EMMA creamed her (again) ??
Swiatek needs to be more selective when choosing friends !!
'Piss poor' bathroom break rules 😂
look she could gone back to Poland for a Bathroom Break & Putty would still give her the run around {i think she played worst after it Also most players would rip there arm off for win lost record she has
Lose bathroom breaks and injury timeouts. It's a fight like MMA
But why should one insist that a woman especially a sportswoman didn't need to use the bathroom? Sometimes we think they are robots. That's unfair.
The word is R E S P E C T
except that she used the bathroom break to analyse the match, re-strategise, disrupt momentum and make plans to avoid defeat at all cost
@@azaharbinmohamednoor7530A sportsman or woman should be at liberty to use the restroom as often as rules allow.
How about Swiatek R E S P E C T S her opponent and leaves the tactical notebook behind ??
Coco lost without toilet brake...maybe she needed one?
I agree guy play 5 sets and can't get bathroom break (wtf) .sorry!! But in long matches your drinking lots of fluids!! Common scents. Mmmm
Youre just envious of iga. They only throw rocks at fruit bearing trees. Im sure you dont criticize the players who dont win !
I watched the game. It didn't happen.
She always either take bathroom break or injury time out,
She is very similar to djokovixk. It’s why she is disliked so much. They fake a lot, a lot of mind games
Romance with a particular Greek male tennis player next? 😂
So happy Putintseva kick out so narcissist swiatek of this tournament
Both of these players are awful.
I know if im wrestling with an uncooperative turd it'll take me a lot more than 8 mins.
Bathroom breaks should be less than 5min and injury timeouts should be limited too. If you go beyond 10min and you still cannot play. Forfeit.
That what she does when she losing backs
She does the same when he wins a set, for example in the final in Doha.
Raducanu vs Hernandez us open.
Just make it like in other sports,5 min brake after each set and everybody (even haters) will be happy
No need to change the rules for 1 bad sportsperson, make that bad sportsperson change !!
iga like hennin she is playing cunning petty😂
Ms Swiatek, what did happen to the blue-yellowish ribbon on your hat? No more political statements on the tennis court?
Isn't it kosher anymore?
Wow, what a delayed reaction. You only noticed it after nine months? She spoke out about why she stopped wearing the ribbon.
❤
i know that umpire, he is the lousy one...hope he would not be umpire again! He plays favorites.
Hosestly Iga was only taking a notebook 📔
If it were something more like a tablet or a phone that would be a bit sus
But no No.1 should take over 5-6mins to use the bathroom
Maybe 5mins as you said for bathroom breaks and 3 breaks per set
