As soon as some invisible cat eats the food as soon as I turn my back I am darting out that door.
I actually took care of a cat I never saw. He was scared of people because he had been abused so he only came out from under the bed when I wasn't home.
I felt obligated to stay outside for a longer period of time.
My theory is that the homeowner was super restricted with her rules but on an accident the owner died and her spirit stayed on the house needing people to do her rules for her and if they didn’t followed them her spirit killed them.

Uhm... A cat doesn't need a bowl full of food if you feed it portions. This is enough food for 1 portion.
The feeding recommendation for a cat of 4kg (average healthy weight for standard cat) is 50-60g of food per day, for example.
She didnt even fed at 6pm.. it was 5:56pm

To be fair, I feel most of those rules would have been followed on accident. It's once you are explicitly told to follow them or suffer consequences... well most folks then are very tempted to not follow the rules, since we do love learning things and would be curious to know what the consequence would be even if we really just want to follow the rules.
Here’s my theory
The house is alive hold up let me explain:
I think the lady/the voice was some type of witch and wanted to be immortal or something like that so she did an incantation and it goes wrong and she and her cat’s souls get trapped in the house hence she said take care of my “soul” but I’m not done. She has to have some type of nourishment so she uses a phone that is part of the house to call people to take care of the house. She makes the rules to eventually lead them into the forbidden room where she takes the victim somehow some. Some will follow the rules and she deems those people worthy to live this also explains why she can only hear the cat and not see it. Thank u for reading have a great day👌👌👌

Heroinedown “Mi casa es su casa” is a common Spanish saying. It is grammatically correct, you can google it. You can say “mi casa es su casa” OR “mi casa es tu casa”. Neither is incorrect, the tu form is just more informal. And “mi casa is not su casa” is a play on the saying “mi casa es su casa”. The short was intentionally not grammatically correct when including both English and Spanish.
What does the phrase mean? Also if CryptTV sees this, I may have an idea for a short film.
Rules (because I keep forgetting what they are):
1- There's wine on the counter, but you must not have any before 8:30 PM, and you absolutely must not have any after 9:30 PM.
2- Edgar, my cat, likes to be fed early, please leave out food promptly at 6 PM. You will most likely not see him during your stay, but you will hear him.
3- The couch is for sitting if you feel the need to lie down, you must use the bedroom I made up for you.
4- No guests, no noise, no parties, no exceptions.
5- We do not lock doors in our home, and neither will you.
6- Turn off any and all electronics before you go to sleep
7- Do not enter the room at the end of the hallway

House Keeping 101, it's wise to follow the rules that the house owner provided if she or he isn't presented. I think consequences befall on her and I'm willing to do much anything to follow the rule to get an extra money in my paycheck.

Hard to tell the intention of the writer of the script. I don't think the place is alive. I believe the woman is using human nature to supply herself with supper. The door at the end, only opened while the young woman was opening the front door, so she was there all along. Easy enough to make it seem someone was trying to get in. But I guess we will never know for sure.

This is great! This story also highly reminded me of an old French story: It was about a woman who married a pirate called Blue Beard. Blue Beard had lots of wives before, but they all mysteriously disappeared. He was a rich old folk and he had a huge mansion. One day, he told his wife that he had to go for awhile and that the mansion was now in her hands. She could do whatever she wanted EXCEPT ONE RULE: Never open the door that was down the "basement stairs". The wife swore she wouldn't go down there and so, Blue Beard gave her all the keys and left. The wife had a huge party and she went in all the rooms of the masion EXCEPT the down the "basement" room. At last, when the party was over and that she resisted the temptation of going down in the basement, curiosity won over her and she finally went down there. What she saw there horrified her: in the room were the hanging the bodies of all of Blue Beard's ex wives. She was so horrified she dropped the key to open the basement door and blood when on the key. The wife tried to clean the bloof off the key, but unfortunately enough, it was a magic that would switch the blood on the other side of the key everytime she tried to clean it on one side. Long story short, Blue Beard came home early and found out about what she did because of the blood on they key, she tried to make excuses, it didn't work, since she broke the one rule, she was going to be killed too, but before Blue Beard can kill his wife, the wife's cousins come to save the day and they brutally murder Blue Beard by stabbing him in the heart with a sword. The wife is safe now, she is rich and for some reason she gets remarried. The end. These stories go to show you that curiosity kills.

Hers, on her hostess’s white couch, just to nail home what a horrible disrespectful person this is. I really wanted the monster to eat her by the end of it; I mean, what kind of jerk deliberately throws out rules someone asks for letting you stay at their place free? The only rule I would have had trouble with is the “no locked doors” rule. And frankly, that’s a rule that probably would have had me leave the house entirely; a legitimate AirBnB host is not going to ask you to leave everything unlocked.

I gave this one a thumbs up after giving photoshop a down. Even if she didn't take the rules seriously the invisible instant cat should have been a sign something isn't normal and to take the rules seriously.

I think the homeowner knows what things the person going to take care of her house is addicted to. I think the homeowner changes the rules according to the things the caretaker is addicted to doing. For instance, if you have a habit of switching the lights off before going to sleep, she'll tell you NOT to switch off the lights before going to sleep.

I would love to see another film about this house, now did she mess up when she turned on the tv or was it because she kept it on? Tbh my survival instinct kicked in when rule 7 came up tbh I'd leave and then a second time when fluffy ate a hand full of food in 0.02.5 seconds, and the third time when the banging and a fourth time with the door opening. I ain't messing with that, I would have polished the silver, washed the floors, I woulda scrubbed the carpet by hand. I am not messing with that lady with her specific rules I'm being the perfect guest and then some. Or just leave, come back at 5:30 feed fluffy and leave again. Nothing said you had to stay in the house.
