- Trinidad and Tobago’s foreign minister has blasted developed countries’ “double standards and continued resourcing” of Israel’s “violations of international law” in a speech to the UN General Assembly, Al Jazeera reports.
“Only someone absolutely bereft of humanity would think that it is lawful and just, and even godly, to respond to atrocities committed on one awful day of terror by, in turn, committing atrocities after atrocities,” Amery Browne told the annual meeting of world leaders in New York.

He should talk about the excessive violent crime situation in Trinidad. He should talk about the guns and drugs situation there. He should talk about the targeted violence against people of Indian origin there by blacks. He should talk about targeted political discrimination by his black govt against people of Indian origin there. Funny he should speak about himanity.A pretentious speech filled useless words. Why don't you ask the US the manufacturers of those guns, last time I checked Trinidad and Tobago doesn't manufacture any weapons ask the criminal regime that manufacturer and sell guns that are involved in most of the killings.
