  • I have always wondered where we come from. This video, "Who was Japheth - Generation 11" answers that question. Japheth was on of the sons of Noah and in the Hebrew tradition is credited as having created the European nations and probably more. It is exciting to study history in its timetable and in its geography. We can learn much about our modern world from where we come from and we can plot paths of success by avoiding failures. I hope this helps you understand the sons of Noah better and I hope it answers many of your questions.

Japheth wouldn't have headed north immediately after the flood. Everyone was together until the tower of babel incident

MK_ Ultra, I agree with you that Japheth probably did not head north immediately. The first 700 years or so after flood was the time of the glaciers. The book of Job gives hint to that fact. I believe that the north was too cold and hostile for any settlements, until after the ice started to retreat, and land became useful for farming

This is spoken of specifically in chapter 6 of the book of Jasher. It says that Nimrod conquered Japheth's sons and took what was left of them as servants and that Nimrod became famed throughout the land and people came from all over to now down to him. Once the tower of Babel was destroyed, they were dispersed by God. But it does give the locations they went to after the flood and it sounds like they colonized all these areas BEFORE the tower of Babel. They were either conquered or gathered to Nimrod willingly at a later time.

IIRC I believe the book said everyone was gathered around the plains in Babylon, they spoke one language and refused to disperse but instead decided to build the tower to make a name for themselves and to have a place of refuge if the world floods again@@TheEnigmaticmuse

Two problems, I have encountered with the biblical story, when trying to figure, where the ark may have landed. One, the biblical story states it was the mountains of Ararat. The fact that the word mountain, is used in the plural sense, causes me to shy away from picking, todays Mt Ararat as the precise location. It is quite possible as well, that names used after the flood, for mountains and rivers, may have just been re-used. Of course we do not really know...but it is worth considering. Two, it is quite possible, that after the flood, the earth's land, was not as it is today. There are a couple of clues in the written Word, that elide to this. One, is what most mainstream biblical scholars call the dispersal of the languages. It is opined by many, including the famous Adam Clarke biblical commentator, that these verses mean an actual separation of land. Another clue, is thought the genealogy, out of nowhere, while explaining who begat whom, the bible mentions Peleg, and that in his days the earth was divided. Not the languages as many other believe. Another clue to this, is the name 'peleg", which denotes 'water', in a very real etymological sense. It is where we get our word for archepelago. Which means islands surrounded by water. And there are other words used in maritime, using the root word peleg. So it seems, peleg is clue as to what the veres mean. That being...in the days of Peleg, the land divided and moved. That would mean...the earth's land masses do not look the same as they did right after the flood. In fact...scientific geology, will gladly point out, that we know, the earth's land masses were actually at once gathered together, and over many years split up. Of course the arguing point...is 'how long' or how much time this took. If true, which I lean towards believing, I have often wondered, if maybe the legend of Atlantis, was the the antideluvial world. That the flood is what was passed down through time, eventually being corrupted, in the story of Atlantis. Something to consider I believe. Thanks for the video. Much enjoyed.

Earth divided according to the late scholar Dr. Michael S. Heiser is a reference to the dividing of the nations in Deuteronomy 32:8 & 9
:8 When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance,
when he separated the sons of Adam,
he set the bounds of the people (plural “peoples”) according to the number of the children of Israel. (More accurately the children of Israel = the Sons of God in Septuagint, which is a reference to angels)
      :9 For the LORD's portion is his people;
Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
Israel was not in existence when the nations were divided at The Tower of Babel.
This also explains why Ephesians 6:10 talks about spiritual war with territorial rulers in a spiritual manner, not flesh and blood.
It’s also worth noting that God is called Elohim, but that angels are also called elohim (in plural form) as well. It’s a descriptive word used of spiritual beings.

Also, all the inhabitants of the ark went to the valley of Shinar, and built the tower of babel before they were divided. So all mankind was still together after the flood likely interbreeding. There’s a Babylonian text that says either king Nebuchadnezzar, or one of the other Babylonian kings rebuilt a temple, or a ziggurat in the place that the tower of babel was which implies that Shinar our valley is Babylon. There are some interesting things in the text that back this up. When I just said to come, let us take brick and asphalt for slime… I remember reading on the CIA factbook back in college that the general area between the rivers did not have much in the way of natural stone, although they are parts of Iraq that are full of stone, perhaps these fax deaf jail together to argue that the stoneless place is where they were making the bricks to make the tower. This is generally accepted, but I have no actual text for it. Remember words and place names have meaning built into them such as Mount Sinai, which means saddle, and indicates that there is a saddle between two peaks, that is why the Arabian Mount Sinai is more likely the mountain. Moses receive the long run than the one for which the peninsular is named. Also, the cave that is in the field of Macphelah indicates a double cave, which we know to be the case today Macphelah . means double cave. or two chambers never forget that place names. Give a clues if you look at their original language.

Tiras' descendants were probably the founders of Rome, remembered as the Etruscans. Also, Tiras/Thrace/Thuras was where we got the idea for the pagan deity name Thor - he lived a long time and was deified (The Assyrians tell us boldly that is what they did to Asshur, and for the same reason, that he lived so long). His name is also remembered in the name of the Taurus mountain region. Tubal was said to have founded the city that bears his name, Tbilisi in Georgia. Gomer's son Ashkenaz was the father of Saxons, who came from northern Germania prior to invading Albion/England. Also, any place called Montgomery is a "mountain of Gomer." Gomer is the father of Welsh people, among many others. Gomer's name is remembered as Cymry - the name by which the Welsh people call themselves. Welsh was a name given by the invaded Saxons which comes from the Saxonic word "waeolash" which meant foreigners. The Saxons were so many when they came in that they took the land and considered the original inhabitants foreign.

23 and Me genetic family trees coincide with what you are saying. Now my personal opinion is that there was a previous advanced civilization that got destroyed (probably more than once in the distant past) that abruptly ended the high point of the last ice age in the latest catastrophe. Perhaps something like an asteroid strike that caused the glaciers to melt in a very short amount of time, created seismic activity that caused the earth's' plates to shift, creating tidal waves around the world. Anything not in a boat would have perished.

My question with anyone that studies the Ark is that to start with the came from the east to the plains of Shinar so clearly they did not come from Mount Ararat. Another point is that Ararat up to 700 b.c roughly was know as a kingdom or Urartu. Now this kingdom kind of disapeared and the Vans appeared but it was a very old Kingdom maybe up to 1300 BC. It is mentioned in Jeremiah 51:27KjV as Ararat.
I believe Moses writing this used a kingdom not a geographical location and at time ararat went south into the area of Irans west which are mountainous and east of the plains of Shinar. The mountains of Ararat, the Kingdom of Ararat or Urartu.
    I could be wrong though.

I wonder if its considered in the Tool you use for the History of Iapetus and others the fact that we are probaly in the year 1150 to 1350 after Crhist not the 2020. This is due to big mistakes of historians that lived around the years 600 after Christ, since they Interpreted or decided by convinience texts, manuscripts, maps, and books that were signed with "izzz" "jzzz" or "xzzz" by historians near the year 300 after Christ ( the letters zzz were digits 0-9 meaning some year), as having been signed with "1", In other words, when the historians of the years 300 and some signed the documents with the rubric "izzz" "jzzz" or "xzzz" it meant to them that they were in the year 300 and some after Christ, and the rubric meant that to them, but then the historians of the yaars 600 and some decided that the "i" , "j" and "x" had to be a "1", and what happened is that they jumped history some 1000 years ahead forward, then the historians that came afterwards had to invent Fake History to justify about 1000 years in orther to fill the Gap and make look that all of the sudden History jumped from year 600 and some to 1600 and some..

The vicissitudes of real life in a world that PARISHED needs to be taken into account! A hiker may hike, (Valorie, Valorah ha ha ha haaa) but a farmer/rancher MUST… because there is NOTHING to find or eat, YET! Hence, the Tower of Babel.

Modern day Iran was home to many people, including the Medes (Madai) and Persians for which the empire was named as well the Aryans and Elam as as well as others. A sidenote, Herodotus tells us that there are three tribes among the Medes, and their priestley tribe, equivalent to Israel’s Levites, where the Magi from which we get our word, via the Romans, Magic. The Aryan are from Iran, and Iran means “land of the Aryans” just like the Gaels are the sons of Gaelmer(Gomer) Scythians(Magog likly admired with Togarmah and Ashkenaz judging both by the Bibles, reference to what all the nations trade(horses-I can’t remember the chapter) and that they were traders in horses and referencing the Assyrian sources whose names for the Scythians are similar to Ashkenaz. The Scythians and the Kelts(the name Kelts with a “K” was a tribe of Gaels from the Balkans, who were the first Gaels. The Greeks encountered, gave us that name. Though there are stories floating around that it comes from a Celtic word, but I prefer to believe the Greek sources which are much older, Both wore Torcs (We have found Torcs in Scythian Kurgans.)and we are told by Herodotus that they are not the same people and speak different languages. He had to point this out because they are indistinguishable in appearance, both having blue eyes and red and auburn hair, in the eyes of his contemporarie Greek readers. Also, the Scythians are the same as the Saka in India (who I believe give rise to the Sikhs religion so I have read in Internet land. It must also be pointed out that the Greeks references to sift. The ends are often contradictory such as them wearing loose clothing too tight fitting tights. The small scholars take the terms at the end as referring to not just one group, but multiple births living in the north upon the Steppe. We are also told that the city and have three major tribes, from Herodotus again. If you read the history, (cuneiform translations),of the Hittites, you’ll find three particular groups that were harassing the Hittite empire from the north one of them has a name that the Armenians associate with Armenia, and the Armenians claim to descend from Togarmah. One can deduce then that the other two groups are perhaps Riphath (probably gave us the name, “Carpathian mountain” which is the first mountain range you will encounter after crossing over the caucuses, were more likely, finding a pass along the Caspian Sea, and moving up the isthmus towards the Occidental Sun upon the mostly flat Steppe. Ashkenaz (who Josephus associates with the Germans had likely moved north into present day Russia on the on the western side of the Ural Mountains. (I am no expert on DNA but this seems to be the area from which the R1b haplagroup emerged.) They later migrate into Celtic lands, modern day, Germany, where they are present, at least, by the first century A.D. when they attacked Rome in the Cymbrian War. Cymbrians or a Germanic people from the Jutland peninsula, which is today divided between Germany and Denmark. The Romans describe these as Germans, and it is from the name of their allies the Teutons, where we get the word Teutonic in reference to all things German. The word German itself we are told means warrior according to Julius Caesar’s Gaelic Wars. He also tells us they call the nation(Germans)something with an “A”,which I cannot remember, but can be found in “gallic wars” who are now believed to be, Celtic(that is the Teutons), mainly based on language associations. The third alliance partner are definitely of the Celtic persuasion according to the Romans, because the Roman allies that fought them at Rudine Plain gave their war-cry upsetting the Ambrony when they realize they were fighting their own kin in the battle. (The Ambrony if memory serves me were inhabitants of Southern Sweden.) also in western China in Uighurland there are Caucasian mummies in that Tarim Basin wearing clothing that looks just like the depiction of the Scythians found in there on Perkins on Greek goldsmithing work. The Uighurs are a Turkic people and wear the traditional set the end Smurf hat. This is why I say you have to remember that the Greek idea of the city end seems to encompass more than one group, and the Uighurs are Turkic, and many of the city and words(mainly place names from Greek texts, but also given names.) line up with the Turkic words. As well as lining up with the Iranian language. You have to keep in mind that language is not necessarily at necessity. Remember that African-Americans speak a language, which is an ad mixture of Anglo-Saxon, Celtic and Scandinavian mixed with Latin and French none of which they are predominantly connected with in regards to genetic stock the Scythians were also slavers who gathered slaves in conquest, and brought them back to Scythia (the land stretches from the Ukraine to khazakstan upon the Steppe.)in order to grow grain which they sold to the Greeks, according to Greek sources. I word slave is associated with Slavs and slaves are the nations that came pouring into Europe as the Mongols and Turkic peoples pushed all sorts of horse peoples, such as the Allen’s and Magyars and Huns and Bulgarian‘s and Ostergoths Vistagoths out of the Russian Steppe into Europe, leading to conflict on the Roman borders. The Tacilo Chronical.(welsh history in Latin.) has the Phrgyians, at least, one son of King Priem travel to the British Isles, after the fall of Troy(Wilusa in Hittite texts) there is a Roman tradition of the inhabitants of Troy, settling in Italy on the Tiber as well. I am told that the way the Spanish address themselves makes a reference to Tubul and in the other Iberia, near the caucuses, there is another group descending from Tubul. Rosh meaning crown as in Rosh Hashanah “crown of the year” in Hebrew, has nothing to do with the Rus, who were Scandinavians, who settled in what is today, Kyiv. I see no connection with Meshach to Moscow either nevertheless, Meshach Tuble and be horse people within the “Scythianland”, as well as others. And like the Russians,Meshech, is said to be bellicose. And the turks, if not of Japheth’s stock certainly are in possession of a culture which seems to be Scythian in an origin, and they have taken enough Greek genetics by fours to link them back up to Papa Japheth’s, if they weren’t linked in the first place. if you look at stock photos for the inhabitants of Europe to Asia going from Ireland to Japan, you will see that Europe what European and Asia looks Asian and they seem to mixed together in the middle. We do forget that Kazakhstan has territory in Europe be on the Ural river. I worked with a guy from here that looks Chinese. I’ve seen other ones that look almost entirely white most of them look something in between. Just an observation northwest Siberia look at the Asiatic as well and they look like the Native Alaskans I lived with when I lived in Alaska. You can learn a lot by looking at historic place names, Anatolia means “the rising sun” or “dawn”It is the name that the Greeks gave to the west coast of modern day, Turkey. The name has encapsulated in it the direction from which the Greeks came. they think that their houses will go on forever. They call their lands after their own names… look at the descendants of Cush now look at the names of the Egyptian gods, and the gods of India. See any similarities Jupiter is Japheth’s to the Romans and Papa Japheth’s to the Hindus. PS there is a connection between Slavic languages in Sanskirt, perhaps many of these slaves of the Scythians, took back to their own lands, were from India. Remember that the Saka, who are the Scythians set up a kingdom in India, and the inhabitants are still there today that was certainly darker and complexion. I’m told it is they that started the Sikh religion, which was a combination of their original religion with a warrior ethos that was needed to fight off the Muslim invaders that wanted to kill them, but I am no expert on their religion or culture, so I’ll have to have someone else speak to this, as it came from Internet land.
