Never realised how much of a badass Voracity was as a kid. She shrugs off being chased by a fox hunt over three counties as a trivial upset in her day. Like she lost her wallet or something. lol
I think the boundry between what's "furry" and what isn't is quite indistinct and different people have different opinions. I peronally class them as furry due to the fact they can talk, show human level intelligence and, as other episodes have shown, can read and write. Of course, that's just my opinion, I wouldn't expect others to agree with me- nor would I critisise anyone who thinks otherwise. Though my fursona is full anthro, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I disagree. Whilst they do display some humanish traits, they tend to walk about on two legs rather than four, hence I describe them as feral. 'Robin Hood's characters in the Disney film are anthros, as are the ones in 'Bedknobs and Broomsticks', but animals in 'The Fox And The Hound' and 'Oliver and Company' should be considered fereal, in my humble opinion at least.
0:45, 1:17 Is it only Evita and Attila or are all the other foxes (save Todd) as evil as that. Genghis is a real biter and a wailer and his impossible luck really fits in. 6:06 I wonder if it is Sims' unique personality that softens Genghis and makes her more the motherly type than Voracity.
More or less. Frankly, I was a fan of this before I even knew what furries were. Since these foxes are pretty much feral rather than anthro, I do not consider the foxes in this cartoon furries.
Theres an old cartoon i saw on CITV about a dog who looked like a poodle and his mum looked like an Afghan Hound and he had several friends one of which was a girl cat. Ive been searching for it and i just cant find it. Please someone help me before i go insane
There are some sexual aspects of furry fandom, but I consider it something of a bonus; it's not the reason I got into it. I think this deviates from the video that's posted here, personally.
Y'know, i believe Ransome, Sims and Jeffries remind me of Maggie, Mrs. Calloway and Grace from Home on the Range (even though the latter was released years after The Foxbusters), and Atilla, Evita and Todd remind me of Shenzi, Banzai and Ed from The Lion King. Ransome reminds me of Maggie, Sims reminds me of Mrs. Calloway, and Jeffries remind me of Grace, while Atilla reminds me of Banzai, Evita reminds me of Shenzi, and Todd reminds me of Ed.
Yes, what's even more amazing is that Whoopi would reunite with Joanna and Jane a few years later when she would appear in an episode of Absolutely Fabulous set in New York! :D
It's a shame that The Foxbusters didn't shown in the USA, This along with The Dreamstone are great pieces of UK animation. It's a pity that the current generation dismiss good cartoons like The Raccoons as crap and worship Anime with tedious plots and massive action. as for this, It very hillarious.
Those foxes kicked poor old Todd in the butt again. Those foxes ought to be ashamed of themselves. I see Ghengis the baby fox as baby Alex Fox (my fursona). Because I drew a black and white drawing of four year old Alex Fox with three bush stone curlew babysitters. Alex sings the Trumpet Voluntary by Jeremiah Clarke and it made the three bush stone curlews sing it too.
I don't personally get why people fawn over anime so much anyway. To me they all look and feel too similar to each other, and I've found most of what I've seen to be dull (I want back the 2 hours I wasted watching Spirited Away). I'd rather watch a cartoon like this one any day. It's had more effort into both the writing and animation than any anime I've ever seen.
One thing that annoys me is the attitude of many anime fans I've come across. I was called an "idiot" yesterday simply because I'm not a fan, and someone else in the same chatroom was in disbelief that I don't think Studio Ghibli's stuff is amazing. I'm sorry, but we all have different tastes, and I'd never call someone an idiot for not sharing my interests.
Animes in general are too dull and one dimensional. There are the odd exceptions (Sky Blue, Akira) but the fact remains that anime artists all seem to draw the same way, and that can only get one so far...
Ach, the toonier stuff is much more varied and intriguing. There has been some good animes, like Samurai Pizza Cats, but of course the majority of the anime buffs that we gripe about are into the more serious nonsense. It's soooo boring.

"I cant wait to have a baby"
"congratulations its a boy"
best line in the episode LOL
Best dialogue: "That baby... Daddy was telling SUCH A NICE STORY!!! And you had to ruin it..."
2:18 "Ooh I know, let's discover something! Umm... Soil! Oh, no... I discovered that yesterday."
Lol, I love Todd.
"Ahhh. No wife, no baby, this is the life! Why did I marry in the first place?" THIS IS THE #1 REASON FOR DIVORCES. lol!
Daphne Blake, Batgirl ( DC Superhero Girls 2019 ) and Misty ( Pokemon ): Judy ?
Judy Jetson: Yes ?
Misty ( Pokemon ): Wanna Spin with Us Orange-Haired Girls ?
Judy Jetson: I'd Love to !
2:44
Pure facts. I mean, if you wanna stay single, that's fine.
Having those teeth grow in must hurt something awful. No wonder the kid cries when he can't bite down on something.
I almost died seeing those to hunters shoot each other! You don't see that in American cartoons!🤣
*bonk*
"No way, Voracious, I'm far too busy!"
*bonk*
"Congratulations it's a boy"
Lol.
Fun fact: Joanna Lumley voices both Sims and Voracity, so it makes perfect sense that Genghis would think she's his mother! ;)
Stop With The Obvious Trolling! There's Too Much! Stop! Enough is Too Much!
What a sweet little kit. :)
This is a brilliant episode. I never forgot it.
I remember this show when I was in Middle School
did anyone else notice todd braced himself like he was expecting a ram to hit him?
2:51 Genghis was very lucky. avoiding the traps, escaping death by hunters, and not becoming roadkill.
OMG my heart! ;-; I love this! Thank you so much for posting it!
Most British show you could think of: This show.
that baby fox cry sounds like an actual fox cry.
@Okami Jubei the Neme of the
Fox cub is ghengis
Ransome sounds like Mary Clarence from Sister Act
That's cos it is her.
5:39 - "No, nothing in this one either" "Well. That rules out your theory of 'fox eating' frogs(!)" ROFLOL
Veracity is my favorite. XD I have to say I just love her personality.
king voracious is an awfully abusive dad
Todd sounds like Ernie The Harbourmaster and Calico Jack
Never realised how much of a badass Voracity was as a kid. She shrugs off being chased by a fox hunt over three counties as a trivial upset in her day. Like she lost her wallet or something. lol
Those chickens know that a baby fox 🌟.
0:20 - Bad Baby, Daddy was Telling Me Such A Nice Story?
Gives new meaning to the term Forced Adoption.

Fox: "We have common interests"
Rat: "And Satanism"
Lol, is that what he said?
No, I think what it meant was that he said "sadism".
YouDoBlooper the neme of the male fox is vlad
9:17
And what did your Daddy-Waddy teach you today?
B’waaak-buk-buk-buk-buk-b’waak!
VORACIOUS!
XD
Genghis sounds almost like Elmo from Sesame Street, and he also sounds like a shouting Newspaper Kid from a Spongebob episode, Hall Monitor.

YOU GIVE HIM TO TODD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL XD
indylover2010 awww
Hooray for the baby fox!
3:33
Did they die?
Yiss

3:34 is a funny! Is 'We have the child' at 8:44 a reference to a film?
That is kind of cute
Forgetting the kitten part was smart. She knew she wouldn't get the kitten.
i consider them anthros, since most creatures that can speak are considered anthros, hence disney and such
"Sims....SIMS! GIVE 'EM THE BABY!"
There are some sexual aspects of furry fandom, but I consider it something of a bonus; it's not the reason I got into it. I think this deviates from the video that's posted here, personally.
Esto quedo en el olvido
I can see why you uploaded this episode now, LOL. :D
It just sounded like one so I asked but thanks for answering.
You uploaded these videos 14 years ago?! This one's my favorite episode
IKR? How time flies
@@SciasCollie Nope it wasn't. This episode was from series 1
@@SciasCollie no I don't, though I definitely don't think the studio had a say
I don’t understand why the hens don’t see that that’s a baby fox?

Ironically, Whoopi Goldberg voices both Shenzi and Ransom!
@lFeefles Are you sure you've commented on the right video? This animation has nothing to do with Batman.
Foxes like chickens their favorite game is chase the chickens
Todd bottoms up 2:47😂😂😂🦊
5:50 MAGGIE!!!!!!?
It's funny how this show was made in the UK, yet they actually got Whoopi Goldberg for the series.
Yes, what's even more amazing is that Whoopi would reunite with Joanna and Jane a few years later when she would appear in an episode of Absolutely Fabulous set in New York! :D

No. It was either Rob Rackstraw or Jimmy Hibbert.
Wanda's Dad and Scoop
Sweep and Scampi
indeed.
DID YOU MAKE THIS???!!!???!

There are too many designations of what the word "furry" means. It has multiple meanings I reckon.
Just the first season.
@whatthe92 Yep, it's Ransome ;)
you'd think they'd just ask for peace
They tried that in an episode.
Todd seems to have an Irish accent, according to 5:39
I don't think this is the right video to post comments of this subject :P
0:14
Off screen they got divorced after the series cause don’t who got custody
while i support your opinon, everyone has their own opinon, so i will leave you with yours
2:17
2:21
3:33 - 3:34 lol dang man they suck.. how you gonna miss that close?
@boru25 I wouldn't know.
I would be creeped out if someone left todd my son and i came to see him doin that at 3:47
Uh 2:21
Genghis is a pain in the gut isn't he?
@djmads
Yes, yes he is. XD
Lol
Boeing 767-300er
What the heck did I comment? I was so stupid 2 years ago...
This is 100% german
Nope, written and produced in England and animated in Spain ^^.
I thought it was animated in Manchester

Hehe
No.

Yeah? Well you can just go back to your woeful American animes so the rest of us can actually watch a REAL cartoon. Philistine.
hmmm enjoy... XD
no way you are enjoying babysitting
it's a JOB MADE IN HELL!!!
