Thank you for the This is the second review I have watched for this combo. The first one had me very interested in it to the point I dropped it in my Amazon's cart before video was over. But didn't purchase yet until I finished the video and wanted to check out at least one or two more review. As he was wrapping up his review he summarized what he thought. And pointed out a few things that were going to be a deal breaker. A lot centered around the fence. I was like yeah I could just build a fence if this is actually an issue. Well after watching your video that issue was NOT there at all. Went back to watch his again. And it was just all in how he was aligning everything and tightening it all. So I am back to getting ready to purchase this. And liked and subscribed. Looking forward to more useful information.
Thank you so much!! Hope you enjoy this setup, I’ve been very happy with it overall. The dust port has gotten clogged a couple times on me, that’s been my only ongoing gripe. Thanks for watching!
@@TheToughGuysTV i didn't get allen wrench for the router lift, but other than that, it's great. like you, i've only been using a trim router but this router is much more powerful and the table seems fantastic as well.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I really feel like this setup is all in one, you could screw it down to a jobsite workbench, especially for a cabinet installer, or Millwork crew - lots of ways to utilize this. Thank you for watching and for the feedback! 🙏🏻
Great video. I've been looking at router tables for about a month. Your video helped me decide on this one. Very clear and the video quality was great. I would have liked to see more on the dust collection. Keep up the good work. Cant wait to see more of your stuff. Thank you.
Thanks Greg! I appreciate the comment and glad the video was able to help you make a decision to buy! I’ll see if I can add a video short on here soon about the dust collection setup I use for the table 👍🏻
Hey! Thanks for the comment! I personally love this combo, plus you can get a plunge router in the deal, which has its own uses, and it’s easy to disconnect and use as you need. Thanks for watching and good luck! 🤙🏻
Love your video mine came today but the base plate for the table does not line up with my bosch 1617. Looks like i may have to drill the 3 threaded holes in router bottom. Skil said they had not tested the 1617 but should be ok. What is your take on doing new holes in. I really want to keep this router table. Thank you
Were you able to change router bit easily from top without disassembling router everytime? Bought new skill router table and router- able to move router with hex key from top but not enough to change the bit
Yes it’s easy, just raise the height all the way, remove the ring insert, and then reach under press the lock button and from the top use the little wrench to loosen. I’ve never had to remove the router to change a bit personally, but that doesn’t mean that for certain types of bits you may need to get creative.
Thanks for the quick response. With both coarse setting and fine adj screw set to the highest possible, the collet nut is way below the table surface not accessible with regular flat wrench to operate on. Only option is to remove motor from btm side , replace bit and put it back. Just for the sake of testing, can you try on your end see same thing ?I wish I can drop a picture here.
So, I noticed that you made no mention to the potential difficulty of changing the speed settings on the router itself since it is all digital and on the top (now facing downwards). Please elaborate or provide feedback on how you were able to work around this?
Just bought mine and I'm excited to use it. Seems to have a good ability to adjust from the tabletop. BTW, the mitre gauge stores on either leg on the inside of the legs, not in the cabinets. There is a nesting set of clamps to hold it there.
Yes it does. I just got the same set up recently and that’s the only position the holes would line up to allow for the above table height adjustment. I thought the dust collection attachment on the router could be taken off & moved to the other side but I couldn’t get it to do so. The cover for the other side of the router is clear plastic but doesn’t have a dust attachment on it. Owners manual for the table or the router doesn’t show a solution to this.
I am actually watching because I have three parts that are not addressed in the manual: two long rods with a threaded screw inside one end of each and a metal bracket. I don’t see those addressed here either. Any idea?
Page 20 of the Plunge Router manual - it’s called an Edge Guide. Wording from the manual here: Edge Guide The router kit includes an edge guide. This edge guide can be used as an aid in routing applications such as decorative edging, straight-edge planing and trimming, grooving, dadoing, and slotting. To assemble the edge guide, insert two edge-guide rods into the holes on the edge guide, and then use two screws (included) to lock the edge-guide rods in place. To attach the edge guide to the fixed or plunge base, simply insert the edge-guide rods into the edge-guide mounting slots either from the left or the right. Adjust the edge guide to the desired position. For fixed base, secure the edge guide by turning the edge-guide levers toward two handles (Fig.13a); for plunge base, secure the edge guide by turning two edge-guide levers toward the right hand (Fig.13b).
Careful plugging vacuum into the table and running both off the switch. Amperage of router plus amperage of vacuum more than likely ovwr the 15amp breaker most will have on their panel for the single plug. Maybe good for auxillary light or something though.
I have the skil plunge router with fixed base, just like yours. Was the height adjustment sufficient to access nut to change bit or did you unmount the router from below and then change bit ? Thx. Good review. Bruce
@@TheToughGuysTV Does your unit have 2 wrenches you use to remove bit or a spindle lock? I have a spindle lock and the user has to reach under the table and depress spindle lock button to lock the spindle and then use the single wrench to unloosen the collet nut. Is this what you are doing? Or does your model require 2 wrenches. If you could show me some favor and let me know what is your procedure to change the bit with this table. I want to buy the table but my router with the same model number at Amazon wants the user to remove motor from the housing and then change bit. Thats crazy.. I must be doing something wrong. Final question with the router. When i put in a 1/4 inch sleeve in the 1/2 collet, it will not tighten 1/4 inch bit in the sleeve. Whats up with that? Oh well if you could again show me some favor and address these couple of issues that would be really helpful. Thanks for your time Dave. Bruce
okay Dave This a solution. Access router from behind the table for spindle lock. Now you could reverse not only the position of router but the table itself, so the red panel would be the back of table and the back would be in the front for easy access. As far as the power button, you could leave it on and buy one of those units that start and stop your power tool, so you wouldn't have to reach behind. Hope this helps. Thx Bruce
They don’t list it exactly for you unfortunately, but that “universal” adaptor I’m sure could be customized, it’s plastic so I bet you could drill mounting holes if nothing lines up. Good Luck! 🙏🏻
Thanks for a great and review! You may have mentioned it, but what is the material the fence holding the MDF face boards made of? The description on Amazon says aluminum, but not sure from looking at the video.
Would depend on your router most likely, I think with the Skil router you may be limited, you may be able to reach Skil via social to confirm exact spec on the router but you’re trying to use
Worst case if it didn’t work with the exact bits you’re trying to use, you could get a collet extension from Rockler or something similar - www.rockler.com/rockler-router-collet-extension-for-1-2-in-shank-bits
I just bought one of these on Amazon. It came with no instructions. Trying to assemble it by following along with your video. Wish you had shown how to install bits, lol. There's also parts not shown in your video, no idea where they go. 😢 Very frustrated. Will probably return.
Bummer you might be missing parts! It is a really good router table if you're able to make it work out, I use it often, and it's held up very well. Thanks for checking out the video!
@@TheToughGuysTVthanks! I finally got it working after watching a few videos how to put it together. Was pretty frustrating. Still have some parts I have no idea what they are, but otherwise it's doing the job. 😆 Thank goodness for RUclips!
I just use one wrench at the top, the rotation lock button is underneath, I wish I had done a better job of showing that process in the video for you! I basically reach my hand underneath, around the back of the router, press in the lock button, then turn the wrench from the top side - it's pretty easy. Thanks for watching!
@@TheToughGuysTV Thanks for getting back to me. I have a very similar set up to yours (Craftsman 10 years old with a rotation lock router) and just upgraded to a JessEm lift and table. I will keep tthe old set up dedicated to maybe round over and was thinking of the Skil router in the new lift. I did try my Craftsman router in the new lift and saw that the button would be impossible to get to so I ended up buying a Bosch 1617.
The storage on this is excellent, however there is so much MDF that it doesn't fit my needs as I live in a high humidity environment. Thanks for the information it helped in my decision to buy the Kobalt version.
Glad the video helped out!! Hope the Kobalt setup works for you it’s def important to take into account the humidity with MDF that’s for sure! Good luck!
You did an awesome job explaining this product. I’ve been looking for something similar I was going to make my own router table but I wanted to use the husky work table because I’m tall 6’4” and a small table would be uncomfortable. The problem is that all the features on router tables are already built in. And except for the mounting plate on the husky world table there’s nothing else. I will scrap my idea for now but I’ll probably buy this skill router table and use the husky work table for adequate height. Thanks again for the demonstration
Thanks for the feedback on the video and for sharing your situation!! So important to know how different people can utilize these types of products because you’re right -most times “one size fits all” doesn’t work with tools, hence everyone having preferences. I hope this one works out for you!!
Great video. It convinced me to buy the table. I did find that there are tabs on the back of the legs under the table that the miter fence snaps into for storage.
So glad the video helped you out! It's still going strong for me, I don't have any major complaints. If you do get it all set up, let me know what you think! Thanks for checking out the video
Must you have the skill plunge router in order to use that height adjustment? I plan on using my Craftsman router with the outer ring screw type adjustment for depth.
My understanding is that with the mounting plate it’s designed to work with multiple routers or be considered “universal” but I’ll note that a couple people have commented that they had trouble with various other brand routers. I’d bet that for the most part, you’re still safe to purchase this setup. Good luck and thanks for reaching out!
I was told by Skil today it only fits the skil router. i dont think i got ripped off or anything like that. with router today i found it for under 200$ so i bought it. I hope i can get it to fit a Makita 701C I use a 701C on my CNC I wanted to buy a 2nd 701C for a spare for my cnc and use it on table if possible. ill find out when it gets here....
In the instructions for the router it states “most major brands” so not sure if they are pivoting there, but I’m confident mine would mount several different types by looking at the mounting bracket alone.
@@TheToughGuysTV Im happy it came with this router. over the top table adjustment is what i was looking for. My 701C would not be able to do it. got it yesterday:)
They refer to it as Universal, but I’m sure there are some types that may not fit. I unfortunately don’t have other routers that I could try to share, but I have to assume that at the very least it’s a wide range and all major brands. Thanks for reaching out!
Never worry about asking questions! Anyone that makes you feel bad is terrible themselves. The plunge base attachment would be when you’re holding the router and operating it “free hand” as opposed to being mounted onto the bottom of the table. It’s a different application for the same tool basically - you can use it either way.
I think I’ll pick this up looks great!!! Have you heard anything about skils other bench top tools like the bandsaw, drill press, and scroll saw? I’m interested in picking those up too. But they say out of stock or unavailable everywhere!!! Are they releasing new models soon? Are they discontinued? Or just out of stock because of the world situation?
Thanks for the feedback!! I think you're making a solid choice going this way for the Router Table. I've always been a free-hand routing guy, but this thing has proven to me the value in having a setup like this. I know that Skil has been rebranding and working on a ton of new products, so if something says unavailable consistently I'd be willing to bet they've got something in the works.
I thought I showed that!? If not, I’ve done a Short recently showing a basic overview, but I’ll see about making a more detailed overview - thanks for the feedback!
Just received this and attempted to connect my Ryobi 1631 router. This did not work out. So, the Skil table does NOT accept any router. Very disappointed as it looks like a great table. Guess I'll have to buy a Ryobi table.
I couldn’t find in the instructions a max size and I really wish they would have provided a list instead of “major brands” - small but detrimental oversight on that one. Good luck in your search! I do recommend the table, I still really enjoy it overall! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Just got this table and router set up. My only pet peeve is the amount of flex on the outfeed fence. It’s creating some snipe issues. Gonna need to make a shim system to reduce the flex. Other than that, it’s great for the price.
Thanks for the feedback on the fence! Also I hope the table overall is great for you, good luck with it and if you find other issues comment here to give other people a heads up 🙏🏻
@@TheToughGuysTV all good. I described the issue to a wood working buddy of mine and he suggested making a one piece fence made out of cabinet grade plywood if there are no plans to use the router for jointing. Another option he suggested would be to just make an entirely new fence out of wood. I’m gonna do option one and see if my results improve. Other than that, this table is very good for the price point, and it matches perfectly with my Skil Router.
This isn't a universal table. Only certain routers can be attached without modifying the mounting plate which Skil doesn't recommend. A Bosch 1617EVSPK Router will mount. The only modification is the plate and router table top have to have a different hole drilled in them to accommodate the top bit height adjustment.
I just bought this table today 7/13/22 at Lowe's for $41. I have the Bosch1617EVSPK. Thank you for the information. Must do some cope and stick for entry doors.
I am new to the router so this may be a lame question but do you have to take the router out of the table to change bits. The table has the quick release mechanism but it looks like you then screw the plate down, so how to you use the quick release feature without taking the bolts out each time. Also, can you change the bit by raising it as high as possible and then reaching from the back to push the release button and loosening the collet. I have a Skil router and am thinking about this table. I like all the features but no one ever shows the changing of the bits. Appreciate any help you can give.
Not a lame question! You can change the bit for sure without removing the router. You raise the height all the way up using the release button like you mentioned. I’ve got a couple of quick videos on Instagram that show changing the router bit if you are on there, but it’s truly easy to swap a bit out.
You sold me on the Skil Router table. I was looking at the Bosch table but this is cheaper and I like the storage. How was changing out the bits on this router and table? Thanks great vid.
Thanks for the comment!! Changing the bits is pretty easy, I probably should have shown that off a bit more. With the Skil router I'm using, I reach underneath and unlock the tension strap, and then use the allen key from the top side of the table to raise it up all the way. I guess depending on the router the height may not be ideal to get your wrench on the nut to loosen the bit BUT, worst case, that plate that mounts on the router has a quick-release, so you could just pop the router off the bottom and do it that way. It would probably take longer, but would still be super easy in my opinion. Appreciate your support and if you do snag one, circle back and let me know what you think of it when you get it all setup!
@@TheToughGuysTV I ordered the Skil Router Table yesterday thur Amazon with delivery by 10/20 and the Skil router as well as all I is a handheld Ryobi. I built a 30" high work table for router table just need to add a couple of shelves and enclose the sides. Keep up the good work on the channel. Thanks
Sounds like an awesome setup!! I think you’ll be very happy, the overall quality stands out to me, it’s just a well built table. Good luck and thank you for the support! 💪🏻
Just got mine today. Dust collection using fence is good. Removing it to route free hand has NO ability for vac hose to connect to the router since the port from router faces the electrical receptacle. Yours??
Thanks for the info! Looks very similar to the Lowes Kobalt router table I've been eyeing. I keep forgetting to buy it when it's on sale. Looks like the main difference is an extra outlet, leg tool storage, quick release for the router. and about $20-40 bucks depending of the Kobalt is on sale. Too ad no one has a first hand review vs the two models up.
Great comment! I haven’t seen the Kobalt one myself, I do like their stuff generally speaking. I’ve really enjoyed having this router table, everything has held up well so far.
@@TheToughGuysTV I called Skil and they told me it wouldn't fit. I just bought the kit that comes with 2hp router for 200 dollars . I bought the dealt router since I was able to get it for 100 dollars at home depot.
Great video! I got one a week ago and I love it....I’m sure by now that you found the mitre gauge mount (under the top on both sides);) mine did not come with the key for the height adjustment, bummer, but I have t-handle wenches. Are you leaving portable or did you mount it on a bench? .
I’ve got it mounted for now, but my whole shop is temporary so I like that I can easily unscrew it and move around if needed. Hope you continue to enjoy it!
Can you comment on adjusting the speed w/the screen when installed in this table? My only hesitation in buying that router. Can you adjust speed blindly w/the buttons once powered on?
No there is no way to adjust the speed without disconnecting, I just checked it again myself to be sure. Remember though it works with a bunch of routers, that plate is “universal” .. quotes there of course, because it definitely isn’t ALL brands. Good luck!
Great Video! I have the same setup as you, the SRT1039 table with the RT1322 14-amp router. I found that the dust collector on the router lined up to the front of the table. I am guessing that is not an issue when doing dust collection. Is that the case? Keep up the great reviews and videos. I enjoy them.
I noticed that as well on the router, I don’t have the adaptor installed on mine underneath. Dust collection on this setup has been pretty solid, but depending on the cut I still sometimes get a lot of dust around the backside. Overall I love this setup, glad you got it as well! Thanks for watching!
are we relying on that one clip that holds the router into place with that metal plate, or do the four screws hold that router and plate assembly tight to the bottom of the table? if it’s just the clip, i’d expect problem soon down the road when that chinsy clip loosens up. i’m hoping the four screws hold the router in place. another question is, how does the router lift work? i don’t see any metal posts like the JessEm, or Kreg router lids have. i can’t understand, physically how this lift works, without those guide posts. btw….the feather boards are helpful to keep the stock against the fence and down but especially important for when you are cutting a groove or slot in the middle of the board so it runs in a perfectly straight line. if your rounding over or running a design on the edge it doesn’t really matter if the piece comes away from the fence, just back up and grab that area again, but if your running a groove or a flute in the middle of a board, we’ll you know what that’s going to look like. plus the bit could throw it around and threw a window, fly out onto your lawn and scare the neighbors, then they call the cops, and you have to explain about feather boards to a judge. now you’ve become an ex-con to the neighborhood and nobody is going to hire you to make moldings. just because of those stupid feather boards. some people don’t use them, how crazy are they
The screws hold that plate in place after you lock it in on the bottom side. For the quick release to work you have to take the screws out. Thanks for the notes as well, all appreciated! 🙏🏻
I'm considering getting this tabletop, I just can't find anywhere whether or not it is compatible with my Makita router (3709X). Do you know where can I find an answer to that?
It says I’m the booklet it works with “major brands” but I’ve heard a few people say it only works with Skils router. They call the mounting plate “universal” although I’m sure it doesn’t work with everything. If I can get an answer for you I’ll comment back again.

Thanks for the review, I have been looking for a router table, this was very helpful.
Great Review
Hey! Thank you - I appreciate it and thank you for watching!!
I’m in the midst of buying this or the ryobi, Bosch. Great video and commentary thanks 🙏
Hey! Thanks for the comment! I personally love this combo, plus you can get a plunge router in the deal, which has its own uses, and it’s easy to disconnect and use as you need. Thanks for watching and good luck! 🤙🏻
The miter fence stores underneath, inside the left upright.
Curious how youll adjust speed with that router being digital
Thanks, I just bought the table and router combo. Although I already had one router, I can always use another.
Nice! I like having two so I can just leave this one in the table. Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoy this setup!
Love your video mine came today but the base plate for the table does not line up with my bosch 1617. Looks like i may have to drill the 3 threaded holes in router bottom. Skil said they had not tested the 1617 but should be ok. What is your take on doing new holes in. I really want to keep this router table.
Thank you
I used a craftsman router on it, and it worked well
Were you able to change router bit easily from top without disassembling router everytime?
Sabe me dizer se esta mesa é compatível com as tupias laminadoras da Bosch, em especial a GKF 550?
Grato.
Hey great note on the storage! Hope the table is working out for you!
I have a question. Did you block off the saw dust outlet on the router? I just got the same set up and it points towards the front.
Getting ready to finally buy my first router & table (I'm 65) I think this one is a winner! Thank you......great vid!
Hey! Great stuff! Good luck with this setup, I love the combo - great quality, good value, I think you’ll enjoy it. Thanks for the comment! 👍🏻
That's your first rtr table? I got this one way back when I was 63...this year
What did you do with the dust port that is on the router fixed base it looked like to was blowing towards the electrical plug under the table?
Yes it does. I just got the same set up recently and that’s the only position the holes would line up to allow for the above table height adjustment. I thought the dust collection attachment on the router could be taken off & moved to the other side but I couldn’t get it to do so. The cover for the other side of the router is clear plastic but doesn’t have a dust attachment on it. Owners manual for the table or the router doesn’t show a solution to this.
Great video. I just got one as a gift. Can’t wait to try it.
Awesome! I think you’ll love this setup, been great for me. Thanks for checking out the video
I am actually watching because I have three parts that are not addressed in the manual: two long rods with a threaded screw inside one end of each and a metal bracket. I don’t see those addressed here either. Any idea?
Page 20 of the Plunge Router manual - it’s called an Edge Guide. Wording from the manual here:
Edge Guide
The router kit includes an edge guide.
For fixed base, secure the edge guide by turning the edge-guide levers toward two handles
(Fig.13a); for plunge base, secure the edge guide by turning two edge-guide levers toward the right hand (Fig.13b).
Bruce
I was able to adjust from the top, I didn’t have to remove the router in order to change the bit. Great question!
@@TheToughGuysTV thx for your response. Did the adjustment key come with your router or table? Thx
Thx Bruce
Great video may our Lord God continue to bless you I believe I will purchase one I did not hear if the rotor was 2 1/2 hrp
Thanks for the note! Yes it is 2.5 HP - thanks for watching!
I received one for Christmas and the router chews the boards up and slings them out the side. Any suggestions on how to fix this!
Are you feeding the boards the wrong way into the bit? No exactly sure what’s happening, so many things could be going wrong.
How many different model routers will this accept? Will it accept the older craftsman type?
They don’t list it exactly for you unfortunately, but that “universal” adaptor I’m sure could be customized, it’s plastic so I bet you could drill mounting holes if nothing lines up. Good Luck! 🙏🏻
@@TheToughGuysTV are you saying the mounting plate is plastic?
Thanks for a great and review! You may have mentioned it, but what is the material the fence holding the MDF face boards made of? The description on Amazon says aluminum, but not sure from looking at the video.
I believe that’s correct that it’s aluminum, but I’ll check and if it’s not I’ll circle back here 🙏🏻
Do you think this table would work with the fancy architectural router bits that need to be higher up for the entire profile?
Would depend on your router most likely, I think with the Skil router you may be limited, you may be able to reach Skil via social to confirm exact spec on the router but you’re trying to use
@@TheToughGuysTV Was planning on getting the table and the router you indicated in the description.
Very frustrated.
Does the router you have have a rotation lock button? how easy or hard is it to change bits as opposed to a two wrench set up on the top?
Good luck!
Nice video however I wanted to see how to adjust the height on the bit from start to finish. That's what people like me are looking for.
Well done!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed this one, I really love this router table.
Thoroughly reviewed 👊🏻 feeding the algo for ya
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the video - I tried to hit on everything and keep the runtime down. Appreciate the support! 💪🏻
I have this an I can't get the c holes to line up with the ryobi but says that's how it goes. I aint got noone to help. Any chance u can help me out
Have you been able to connect with SKIL yet by chance?
just Added this Table to my work shop , And I wonder how i got along without it all this time Awesome review thanks for sharing
Hey!! That’s awesome and thank you for checking out the video! I felt the same way once I got it setup. Good luck!
Falta como poner la fresa en el router y ajustar la altura o profundidad de corte
My came with 2 rods about 10” long where do they go
I believe those are for the edge guide for the router, assuming you got the table / router combo kit.
Was actually looking at this unit at Lowe's last weekend. This video has convinced me that this is probably the starter table for me. Thanks!
Lowe's is clearing them out for $41. 7/13/22
@@JohnnyDS6557 is it still on? the clearance
No, it was only until they were gone.
The adjustment on the left side of the fence,. Is to use the router as a jointer
Amazing camera work and review
Compact job site table saw.
That would also be cool, but not following you here?
I just bought this table, thanks for the video, it helped me understand how to get started. I'm new to the router world.
That’s so great! Glad the video helped you out and thank you for watching.
Does it accept all routers boss.thnks
They refer to it as Universal, but I’m sure there are some types that may not fit. I unfortunately don’t have other routers that I could try to share, but I have to assume that at the very least it’s a wide range and all major brands. Thanks for reaching out!
@@TheToughGuysTV thanks for all info God continue to bless you and take care of you.
How come you took the plunge base off? I’m new to wood working so sorry for the amateur question.
Really enjoyed the video but wish you had shown how to change the bits
I thought I showed that!? If not, I’ve done a Short recently showing a basic overview, but I’ll see about making a more detailed overview - thanks for the feedback!
@@TheToughGuysTV Thanks for your response. I'll be watching it again in go/pause as I set mine up.
Great review thanks
Thank you for watching!
Just received this and attempted to connect my Ryobi 1631 router. This did not work out. So, the Skil table does NOT accept any router. Very disappointed as it looks like a great table. Guess I'll have to buy a Ryobi table.
Will it accept large routers or just medium? Perhaps a better question would be how large of a router base will it accept? Thanks..Great review.
I couldn’t find in the instructions a max size and I really wish they would have provided a list instead of “major brands” - small but detrimental oversight on that one. Good luck in your search! I do recommend the table, I still really enjoy it overall! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
The place to store the collate rings is in the shelves. I have to say, they are not secure, so that's frustrating.
@@TheToughGuysTV Thanks. I will check your videos out.
Sounds like an awesome setup!! I think you’ll be very happy, the overall quality stands out to me, it’s just a well built table. Good luck and thank you for the support! 💪🏻
What kind of support is there to keep the table flat over time when a heavy router is attached?
Just got mine today.
Dust collection using fence is good.
Removing it to route free hand has NO ability for vac hose to connect to the router since the port from router faces the electrical receptacle. Yours??

Mine didn’t come with the long black key for depth adjustments. Did you have to buy it separately?
Yes that long T-handle Allen wrench was my own but the same size that came with the table. You should have gotten a small one for sure.
@@TheToughGuysTV what size is the adjustment key?
Just got mine from Black Friday!
Great buy!!! It’s a really solid setup, I think you’ll love it! Thanks for watching!
can this router use raise panel bit
Thanks for the info! Looks very similar to the Lowes Kobalt router table I've been eyeing. I keep forgetting to buy it when it's on sale. Looks like the main difference is an extra outlet, leg tool storage, quick release for the router. and about $20-40 bucks depending of the Kobalt is on sale. Too ad no one has a first hand review vs the two models up.
Great comment! I haven’t seen the Kobalt one myself, I do like their stuff generally speaking. I’ve really enjoyed having this router table, everything has held up well so far.
It looks nice. Dont like all the features but overall it looks good for me. Hope it will be available over here.
Where are you located?? Thanks for the comment and for checking out the video 🙏🏻
Can I attach the dewalt DCW600B router ?
As far as I know it’s a universal router mount, but I’m not 100% positive on that. I’d be surprised if it didn’t fit.
@@TheToughGuysTV I called Skil and they told me it wouldn't fit. I just bought the kit that comes with 2hp router for 200 dollars . I bought the dealt router since I was able to get it for 100 dollars at home depot.
I am sorry to ask because I feel it was mentioned somewhere, but now that I want the model number I cannot seem to find it...
SRT1039, should be a link in the video description as well. Thanks for watching!
@@TheToughGuysTV after I asked you I realized that the writing in the parentheses might be the model number
@@TheToughGuysTV : that’s good then.

Hello Thanks for your video, can you put other NON SKIL routers???? Thanks
Yes definitely, the mounting plate looks to be “universal” I’m betting it fits all major brands. You’d need a fixed base router or if it’s a plunge router it needs a fixed base option to mount. Good luck!
The little hangers you used to hang the tool is actually whats used to hand the featherboard, one goes on each side.
