I would not recommend timing your journey in seconds but rather in amount of darts. Darts is also a bit of a ryhtm game and games like this where you rush yourself mess with that. Personally i dont go around the board but use a variation of barneveld's version. In my version you need to hit 3x (single is 1, double is 2, triple is 3) each target in order going from 20-19-18-17-16-15 and if you are skilled enough 3x single bull or 1 red. The reason i like it more than around the board is because you throw at the same target even if you hit a single which trains you to group your darts. With this schedule you also go for the main trebles you'd hit in a normal game (doubled is a different story, there around the board is fine). The goal here is to reduce the amount of total darts needed. In my head i also kind of keep track of how much i am behind if i were to hit 3 singles each time. Example: i hit 2 single 20 and a 5, i am now 1 point behind. Next throw i hit a 20 and a treble 19 and a 4 (missed 18s), i am now again on par as i completed 19 and 20s with 6 darts
I feel like this is better for the people a bit better than me, I think if I tried to hit single double and triple it would take me at least 30 minutes + to get all the way around the board, it is definitely a good concept though and I can see why it would be really good for grouping and generally improving :)
@@DartGuru88 I didn't mean to hit double triple and single, I just mean to throw until you get 3 points on each target (1 treble or 3 singles or double and single or 2 single and a treble). Your goal is mainly to just aim for the treble until you have at least 3 points on each target
@@DartGuru88 So it would be like this: Throw 3 darts at 20 Hit 1 single and 2 randoms = 1 point Throw 3 more darts at 20 Hit a random and 2 single 20 = 3 points Now we move to 19 Throw 3 darts, hit 2x 19 and a 3 = 2 points Throw 3 darts, hit 1x 19 -> move to 18 -> get 3 points ...
Update on this... broke 50 with a 36 out of nowhere. It stood for a whole then today, it only took 32 darts... I didn't time it, but estimate it at 3:35
i do round the clock but if i dont get the next number in 3 darts then i hsave to go back to one adding a little pressure furthest so far 11 after 2 days throwing
Once you get a bit more confident you could try just doubles. Rather than just go at double till you get it, which can get frustrating, throw one dart then 2nd at next number including 25 and bull etc and see how many out of the 22 darts you get. That way its a quick way of getting better without making it a grind, which will come later when you set a single goal that you have to get. 😂

@@DartGuru88 So it would be like this:
Throw 3 darts at 20
Hit 1 single and 2 randoms = 1 point
Throw 3 more darts at 20
Hit a random and 2 single 20 = 3 points
Now we move to 19
Throw 3 darts, hit 2x 19 and a 3 = 2 points
Throw 3 darts, hit 1x 19 -> move to 18 -> get 3 points

@@sebastiaanvandingenen1472 oh okay yeah that’s probably better
Got my first boarf yesterday. I did this including bull in 50 darts, twice. Going to try break 50 today
Nice, good luck on your journey :) make sure to subscribe so we can improve together :))

That’s a good idea, might use that one for one of my videos!
@DartGuru88 yeah better than timing yourself just adds more pressure I would say
Just dont make it about time just count up the darts you needed if you do with time your gonna want to rush and you will miss more often

I agree it probably is better to do doubles to make it more accurate but at the moment it would take me hours to get all the doubles 😂
