Of course I gave it the fist bump, beat the Edgar with a 109 average 😂😂
As I heard Barney once say (paraphrased): if prof plays a pub player, the pub player will be quite a bit more motivated than the prof. That makes a lot of difference.
That elbow movement kills me.
He lines up then drops his arm.. Surely the throw should be the same as his line up... Perhaps this video will help him.
and him. painful to watch
Playing against a 109 average is like playing a prime Taylor. Shows just how good he was! It would be good practice for you though
You should do a challenge that favours Zack's expertise: "can a professional darts player custom design a dart?!"
😴 💤
Great video that matt you and zach played really well good luck in the super series try and win an event you look like your playin some good darts matt mate
I play this against my colleague at work as I'm a 60-75 average player. Hes a 30-45 average player so I give him 2 or 3 extra darts to make it fair and its really really good practice for my league games
I'm gonna start playing against the computer with 5 darts now instead 😅 Be nice to see the decent averages coming in 🎯
When I used to play against my brother, who isn't a dart player, every leg I won I would take 25 points off his starting score and see how many i could win. If he won a leg we added 25 to his starting score. 4 legs later he starts 401, 4 more and down to 301, that's when i started losing.
Well done Zac a win's a win.
I was pulling for the underdog to beat the Edgar.....looked like a lot of fun.
We had a great time filming this tbf
I'd love to see how long it would take Edgar to hit a 230 with 4 darts. First try I bet if he's playing Gary Anderson.
love the videos with a little throwing action
If Zac kept that elbow up there's a very good player in there somewhere, way too much movement atm to find any real consistency 👍
Thanks Sean, working on it :)
Up the Thornton, filling that T1 bed! Once had a bloke practicing at a uni tournament turn around and give it the beans after 3 T1s 😂
Right handed 180
It also depends on the standard of the pub player, my standard is around 70-80 range so having 4 or 5 darts would possibly give me enough of an advantage
Anyone 70-80 should be playing county not pub darts
@@Edgartvdarts there are plenty of pub players that are at that level because the more you get into super league and county the cost to play and free time is more needed which people dont have. I did try it and the cost got too much and getting time off work was hard
Give zac a battering about his elbow drop 😟😂
Already battering myself about it haha
Nearly as good as the People’s Elbow
But Zac did you fix it???!?!?!?!
Not a fan of the forklift throwing action. Perfectly good starting point, bringing the arm down makes no sense.
THREE HUNDRED
& SIXTY!!!!!!!!!!
How about if Zach can only score no more than 180??????
Where was he looking … do you have auto score
Good vid man, maybe you should do the same experiment where you are only allowed 2 darts and Zach can have 3 (or 4)
I think I’d get very frustrated with that tbh like shots like 82 if you miss the bull I’d be like f f f f
@@Edgartvdarts it's alright matt (zach would still be on 300 at that point) sorry zach 🤣 (jokes)
How about a 65 - 75 player ? It should go up in 20s instead of 15 per dart as not as many strays... with 4 darts
So say he hit 180 with the first 3 , does he not throw anymore .
Or can he shoot out the other 3 and "for fun" hit a 360 possibly
Yeah he could have scored 360 in this game yes
Now I want to see if Edgar can hit the 360 maximum! :P
I know this is off the subject here, but does anyones surroundings affect how they play. I cant play in a bedroom or small space.
makes kinda sense, right? 45 average per 3, making roughly 15 per dart. Makes for about 6 darts to come up to the 90ísh average you are making, Matt :)
So where are the other 19 points in this match cause he averaged 109 using 6
@@Edgartvdarts I think it's based on the odds.. I mean, he started it out with 180 on the first three when he had the 6 darts, but he also started another leg out with 45.. In 'normal' math, if he averages 45 with 3, he should averga 90 with 6. Might be the case though that he felt less pressure on throwing with 6 (I can imagine that at least).
@@marcvandersnoek2642 I felt more pressure cause i had expectation
@@marcvandersnoek2642 Also you get a rhythm with 6...first one is good easier to follow...first is bad, a few to correct
Interesting video
Suggest he not drop his arm
He actually improved the camera lol
There is not a huge difference between a top pub player and a professional player. A top pub player will generally go out between 5 and 8 sets for 501 yet a pro will do it between 4 and 7 sets.
Would there be any value in giving your practice partner 4 darts when you practice? Maybe put more pressure on you when you're practicing if you get what I mean?
Thats exactly what I do
So I was correct, I couldn't do it I think my arm would get worse after a while so my av. would drop ;-)
i averaged 72 over 10 legs the other day, but i was peaking, my general average is between 50 and 60. So on a good day 5 darts would be enough for me to beat you, but on a bad day i dont think it would help all that much, Because if im throwing a lot of shit then its just more darts to get a load more shit with, lol
There were no option for 2 darts..
I didn't realise I was playing 🤣🤣🤣. 'painkiller ' 🤣😂😁😂😁
You got good very quick
@@Edgartvdarts yeah...better darts but your looks have gone!
He won of course he’s happy 😃
4:15 His arm is horrible!
I know! 😂
Trying to double-tap!
give me 4 darts i'd give you a game
I would need double of darts than you😂
I hope you're giving the skinny lad free lessons. His up and down arm action is cringeworthy
Edgar, you so bad that even if all your darts counted double, i would still win easy ;)
