    I took it out by using one of those tiny thin straws that usually come in a plastic bag accompanied by a napkin and spoon and have a red lines on it (they give them out in our school) hope y'all know what I'm talking bout, anyway I just stuck that inside the socket and pushed down and then pulled it out with no hesitation and boom idk where it went, probably flew out of the straw onto the floor but it was out, it can't hurt me anymore and now I'm happy. Hope this help to some of y'all 🙏

      Shiv widdle a tapered toothpick out of wood. Use it to push into hole of mini jack that is stuck in your computer. Glue not necessary. If this doesn't work try the pen method because you jack head might still have nub component attached.

    I was getting up and I took my headphones off. Then all the sudden my headphones grabbed my shirt and snapped. The edge was stuck in the port and I was home alone and desperate to get my *NEW* headphone jack out of the port. I looked up a video, and tried to get it out of the port with a pen-tip. It got lodged deeper. Now I can't hear anything and I can't even see the edge of it. Someone please help me, I don't wanna die. I did this to a PC and it's touchscreen and expensive. *I NEED HELP!*

    I haven’t had sound on my computer for a very long time. My little brother pulled my headphones out of the jack and broke the tip. I was trying to disable the speakers on that because I have my own but it still doesn’t work...
    Edit: It broke in a weird way. It looks like it had a nub but that broke aswell so its just like a wall.

    What hole??? The headphone jack that has been stuck doesn't have any hole!!!! I literally wanna cry rn..:(((

    • @veearr
      @veearr  6 лет назад

      Think Idiot yes so the jack can break off in two ways. One way it leaves a hole, the other way it leaves a nub. Some have pulled out the broken jack with the nub by using the inside of a ink pen. Take the pen apart and the ink tube should have a small hole the nub will fit into. Try that!

  • @Groovyjp123

    • @veearr
      @veearr  6 лет назад

      Gavin Mentane when you stick your broken mini jack into the hole it probably reconnects the signal... its just not able to pull the nib back out. That could explain why your sound still works, but why the nib doesn't cone out when you pull it.
      Try the tooth pick method, if that doesn't work, try the pen tube method.

      Fatal Heart Rhythm thanks for the concern, but I have been working as a carpenter for the past 10 years, and was raised using tools, knives and saws. While a lesser experienced person may slip and cut themselves, I am very skilled with tools and ive never cut myself or lost a finger yet.
      This is a video on how to remove a headphone jack, not how to use an exacto knife. Maybe comment on the millions of tool video online that people are using improperly. But thanks for the concern. Its nice knowing people care about my safety. 💖

      Sherbert Swirl sounds like you're being pretty heavy handed. I'm not sure if you're a child or an adult... But sounds like you might need someone to assist you before you do more damage to your computer.

    • @CactusSalad555

      veearr it's my phone, and I'm some where inbetween child and adult.

    • @veearr
      @veearr  6 лет назад

      Sherbert Swirl does your phone have a warranty?
      If not, wood inside the hole can be removed with a small screw... If the wood is near the entrance of the hole. If you could get a small screw and screw it half way and pull GENTLY like a cork, like when opening a bottle of wine... But you might be underage hehehe. If you can remove the wood you might pull the tip out with it.
      If the tip is still jammed look for your pen and try and see if your nub is still attached.

    • @veearr
      @veearr  6 лет назад

      Sherbert Swirl the screw size and driver you need are quite small. Electronic screws, like the kinds you find in sunglasses or holding toys apart.
