My old friend john had his Saturday warehouse boards made by ps stix. The shape was like a FA board and had the ps laser engraving but Doc schmidt said he doesn't deal with shop boards 🤔 I am confusion
I think Saturday started as a board company and the shop and subsequent park all followed it starting as a board company. Good to see another Charlotte homie!

There's no such thing as bamboo boards. Its just 1 or 2 ply on top. Its a gimmick.

I wanna hear from this guy about what size board I should ride at 6 foot tall.. I feel like he would know better than me lol. I ve been skating 20 years and still am not sure what size truck to skate.
9.5.....16 in wheel base and 169s or something in that range....60- 62 mm wheels will keep you on top of the game......SKATE LIKE A MAN !!!

@@ExoticTurtle3 i know hes nuts.. lol. to me its mostly because i skated lows until i outgrew them and now all the trucks that im compatible with feel like big heavy duty mega ramp trucks and all i wanna do is techy ledge stuff like when I was a kid lol
@@typerightseesight tensors have always been the tech truck imo. They are always going lighter and lower every chance they get

how does somebody who works a factory job at ups or whatever convert to making skateboards for a living im 32 and have been skating since i was 12 this would be such a transition for me.. i mean i grew up sponsored with drama pfaff i just wanna make boards!

Its' either him or chapman on the east coast. at leas he makes them in mexico which IS WAY BETTER than those made in CHINA

There are harder woods than maple but they are going to be heavier, way more expensive and much harder to route and machine. Plus you wouldn't want a completely rigid deck. The snap and flex is what you want.

If you want to confirm without checking a deck in hand, Skatewarehouse . com, they show the top of the deck, it's engraved at the front truck mounting holes "Hand crafted by PS Stix"
