I wish RUclips was around like this when I was building boards in the mid 00's as Chicagolongboards. I'd have loved to record and post videos while building boards in my garage shop like this. Great video!
I’ll tell you this, not only are factory13 boards functional, strong and worth it. Their goddamn works of art made right here in the USA. The way boards used to be now 90% or more are made in China or Mexico. Back in the day anything made overseas was considered a toy. Where else are you gonna get a one of a kind deck the way you want without making it yourself
That, my friends, is how a good quality skateboard is made! That's not some mass produced piece of crap made in China with slave labor. Well done 👍 Mike V
Damn, what a process, what a beuty!

That's a rad shape. I usually get and ride Scram skates, scram earth skiis. ..little brand from Seattle. definitely gotta snag one of these natural s.
Alsome was a pleasure watching the process
it's hard for me to express the feelings seeing this video created in me, i'd say this was sort of life-changing
Crazy he’s doing it a board at a time. They usually put like 6 in the press at once.

Can anyone tell me what the machines are called that were used in this video and where I could buy them
Wait.. What glue did he use? Epoxy? Or wood glue?
I'm pretty sure its epoxy. You wouldn't lay a water based glue on veneer with a squeegee.
When you do thinks with love and pasion. You belive in what you do. Nobody can't take it from you.
Absolutely.
Interested in skateboarding decks? Can I place an order?
Love what these guys do, but this seems really primitive and labor intensive even on a small scale.
You’ve got to love doing it, that’s for sure. Probably some of the best quality you can find though!
this aint it chief
