@@matth4638 How's the pure suburban crackhead running commentary? Classic comedic junkie diatribe. Now that machines stick the labels on the tins of baked beans, there's just no paid work for these dregs. Genius rocket scientist just finished telling us how he could easily win Bathurst 20 seconds before he turns suburban streets into carnageville. How do we fix this? I'm stumped.
“In Australia, Police Officers are expected to assess the risks and benefits before engaging in a pursuit. There is no outright 'no chase' law, but the emphasis is on public safety.” Evading the Police gets you a prison sentence all by itself, plus all the other charges. A dash cam can be set to record when the ignition starts, that’s so that if the vehicle is stolen, they can see where it went and hear the on board conversation. They also drove over a spike strip as they exited the carpark, so the tyres began to deflate.
Also, all chases have a higher ranking officer who joins the radio call and has ultimate control to continue or terminate the chase. During chases, those involved are required (every 30-60 seconds?) to call out chase speed, level of traffic around, if the driver is doing anything exceptionally dangerous (wrong side of road). And they also continuously make a judgement to continue or terminate. If terminated by chase supervisor - they must immediately stop and pull over.
If they had stopped when police first tried to stop them they would have possibly just been charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle. But like you said, there will likely be a raft of charges now.
Imagine stealing a car with not just 1 but 2 dash cams recording your crime, it's not like they wouldn't have noticed the dash cams before stealing it.
Aust wide it's a problem. And majority are drug and youth crime related. I myself had my car written off by a stolen car in August 24. Thankfully no one was injured as it was 6:30am, my car was parked and they cut across a busy street in a retail precinct of Brisbane that is usually full of pedestrian traffic and bike riders at that time. It just happened to be bad weather the day it occurred so not as many people.
Back in the 1990s when I was driving taxis I got caught up in a police chase, I went through a set of lights, the car being chased came out of side street in front of me and the police came through the side street lights behind me, I got out of their way quick smart, lucky I didn't have any passengers with me. Cheers.
You'll notice at the the 1:00 mark the police threw spikes on the road in front of them as they tried leaving the car park. That's why he said a tyre was popped, but he kept running on the flat.
Most Mercs, BMW'S, Audi's etc usually are fitted with "run flat" tyres which gives them so many more km's of driving before the tyre shreds. Otherwise they wouldn't have gotten anywhere near as far as they did on a flat.
I hope you had a wonderful Crimmus and all the best for 2025. These two are our meth head owtlaws and it's a stolen car. Thank you for this vid review, Mate XD
Watch the one on the junkie stealing the audie r8 joyride for 25 minutes and that's without it in sport mode can only imagine what it would have been like if he pressed the juice button
Yeah.. they were. Methew and Methany drove the stolen Merc to the location to partake of some Retail Thievery and this is where the cops caught up with them.
Well that was exciting. Makes absolutely no sense to steal a vehicle anyway and they were talking about dumping it way before they crashed, so was it just a 10 minute thrill they were after. Totally mad given the certain apprehension and legal consequences. Takes all kinds.
This chase started in Collingwood, an inner city suburb of Melbourne. I'm very familiar with the area, as I lived in Melbourne for 40 years and I used to work in Collingwood many years ago.
Sydney ,cops chase man in van ,he jumps out at service station into a Audi R8 ,same deal dash cam ,long video, he gives new meaning to the saying drive it like you stole it!!!
Here's another stolen car POV ruclips.net/video/rUNh7zVUELA/видео.html This channel might have some goodies on it, it's all Australian police footage www.youtube.com/@Policevisionaustralia/videos
Looks like Sydney Road. The most awful access from Melbourne, double tramlines and very narrow. It is a very good example of what Victorians think of Sydney. Believe me when in Melbourne I always found better ways of travelling to this part of town.
Some quick points.... The car is stolen, however has been fitted with effectively "blackbox" recorders in the aftermarket dash cameras - there may be three fitted - the forward facing, the rear facing and another with a fisheye looking at the interior.... which in this case could be a legal liability for conviction, would assume this is a plea deal case....
Just picking that the car was stolen in Woolworths Carpark, Hodgkin St, Fitzroy Nth..... Smith St to Alexandra Parade.... and then Flemmington Parade? Royal Park....
This dude asks so many questions and says tell him about things in every single video but he never reads or responds to cooments and he picks whatever videos to react to while ignoring recommendations from his viewers.
You’d be surprised thats just outside the city, def not country where they crash that’s kinda part of Melbourne uni area… royal Melbourne hospital is just up the road…
You can see why Queensland has a no chase policy. The idea is that they will recover the car once dumped and get the finger prints. Sadly most are stolen by youths where they are cautioned and let go the next morning and more often than not they just go and break into another house and pinch another car.
@@PHAZER99exactly, the filth isn't getting any DNA or prints off a burnt and rusted out dumped car. No chase laws don't make any sense.... Sounds like Methew and Methany are at it again..
Look my names Matthew, I'd take offence but this shit's pretty funny.
Yep, there's meth in their madness alright.

They would’ve been out on bail the next day & eventually got a fine & probably community service for the crime. Australian justice system 🙄
Junkies bogans ,Dazza and Shazza
The judge must have been pissing himself laughing watching this :) , its melbourne , we have some of the best loonies :) .
. . . in politics?
The cassowary car chase video is pretty good!
PS those are genuine low down dirty bogan accents driving that car
Bogans doing bogan stuff.
Drugs are bad, mmmkay? Not career criminals, just junkies.
OMG they're going through the suburb near where I live, North Fitzroy.
This is another one in Australia. Same deal with inside the car dash cam. Audi R8 ruclips.net/video/rUNh7zVUELA/видео.html
Recommend this one for sure.
It’s weird knowing all the streets and suburbs. Knowing when he takes wrong turns and all lol
@@lillibitjohnson7293 yeah, weird for me too. It’s a nice area, kind of ugly, kind of really pretty. Very historical.
This one is the winner!
I came here to suggest the same one...
Criminals aren't really known for their intelligence.
Why can't people say four words without using "like" three times?
Davo and Methany ...best show ever!!!
