I fly this route every year for Christmas.... When I went, it was a 717... Still a good plane ngl...

DFW Aviation Yes.... Sadly delta is retiring these jets.... I hope being creates like another version of the 717 to compete against the A220...
I had the privilege today of getting to see four brand-new Delta A220 at Montreal Mirabel Airport (where they are built), plus an Air Canada A220 there!
It must be nice being able to see them fresh and before anyone else! Vous habitez au Québec?
@@dfwaviation2066 I live in Toronto but I sometimes make short weekend trips to Montreal, and Labour Day weekend had really good weather to do so. Montreal is a 1 hour flight or a 6 hour drive from Toronto. I drove because there is no public transport to Mirabel.

Nice video! I’m actually taking a Delta A220 from MSP to DFW this year, so this really showed me as to what experience I would expect! Just a quick question. Did Delta hand out ear phones of their own during the flight (to watch on the IFE)?

The barking dog returns! I love this plane but cant stand the sound the A350 and A220s make when flaps are extended/retracted and the barking dog.
I honestly like the sound of it, especially the flaps!

Which two devices do you use and is that a go pro on the window
I used my iPhone 8 and Panasonic HC-V770.

You can definitely tell when an A220 is flying overhead when you hear that "whale" sound from the engines. It's pretty cool that Delta is sending a lot of A220 flights to DFW.

he has his own camera facing the screen and go pro on window probably
The wing shots were filmed with my Panasonic HC-V770 (I don't have a GoPro) and I filmed the safety video with my phone.
