Good morning Donna thank you so much for the early happy birthday wish and let me wish you a very happy Valentine’s Day! I appreciate your feedback on the content of the video and I really plan on covering many topics that I have not touched on in previous flogs or videos. There are so many issues and life activities that we, as blind individuals share and my hope is to share the successes and how we are able to work out both simple and complex issues as we navigate the world without the use of our eyes. I consider you my neighbor and hope this state wide flooding issue, that we are experiencing now, is not affecting you. Our town creek is really, really high but we now have floodgates in place to prevent our main Street and historic district from severe flooding. Stay dry and warm and again thanks for watching. Love, Beverly

Beverly, thank you so much for this video and for sharing so much of your life with us. I feel like we have a lot in common. I am 51 years old, and a grandmother of five. I also have a guide dog, a golden lab cross named quarterback. I watched all of your videos when I was in the process of applying for quarterback. I lost my eyesight 6 1/2 years ago, it was sudden. I agree with so much of what you said near the end of your video. I’ve come to the point in my life where I’ve excepted it, and most of the time I think I forget that I am blind. You have to get to the point where you just live your life and take each day as it comes, and I fully believe that this is god‘s plan for me and he’s giving me everything I need to be successful. Again, thank you so much for your inspiring videos

Your hair cut is adorable on you! Love that style on you. Your blouse has such lovely strong red colors that work perfectly for you!
You centered your whole video spot on. Your speaking was beautiful. Does Jerry help you at all with your videos or do you just film and upload yourself? It has to be a lot of work.
I too have children 19 months apart! Love how much you accomplished in your life. Thank you for sharing such a personal side of life. Such a strong individual you are.
Hugs to you, Jerry and my favorite German Shepard.

Thank you so much Jannell for all of those complements. I am letting my hair grow out, it has been short for30 years. Not sure what The end result will be but it’s a work in progress. LOL. Jerry did help me center my video and then he left the room because I do better when no one is around. I thought it would be a good idea to just re-introduce myself to kind of consolidate several of my video subjects into this re-introduction video. Thanks so much for watching, and I think Gretchen may be one of my first Guest hosts on my new set. LOL. Her crate is just right outside of the cameras view so if you hear dog noises in my videos, it would be from her making her boredom sounds. Take care and let me know how Stanley is doing with his new training assignment whenever you have a chance. Love, Beverly

Hello Cynthia, your comment makes me understand how powerful our creator is and how amazing the human spirit is, as well. For you to have lost your vision, only six or so, years ago, and to be in the place that you are now, let me know that you do have a great purpose. It just amazes me to know that you have come so far in a very difficult journey, in such a short time. It sounds like you have a wonderful extended family and I know how much work it is to attain the skills necessary to get a guy dog. I know quarterback most likely, plays a huge part of your success and happiness because these magnificent animals bring us the independence that is so rewarding. Thank you again for sharing your comment because I think we do have a great deal in common. Now, if we could just convince the rest of humanity that we all are more alike, then different, the world would be even better! Take care
