My work bag is the alpaka sling max 2.... Superb usability. The only downside is the tablet compartment zipper is source for water to get in as the end of the zipper doesn't have a end cover
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Alpaka Sling Max 2! It's great to hear that you find it superb in terms of usability. Your observation about the tablet compartment zipper is duly noted. If you have any further comments or if there's anything else you'd like assistance with, feel free to let us know. Your insights are valuable!
Love these options! Idk about y’all but I love my slings to be on the smaller side. If I want something with more capacity, that’s when I’ll turn to a backpack. Something about the aesthetic of a scaled up Fanny pack just looks funny to me 😅
You're welcome! It sounds like you've found a reliable and practical solution for carrying your belongings with the Bravo Sling Max V2. It's great to hear that it has been serving you well for over six months. If you have any specific questions or if there's anything else you'd like to know or discuss about your sling bag or any other topic, feel free to let me know!
Excellent size bag to use as sling or messenger. Most important is the materials used I got 2, the limited edition orange & blue lining , both black . Love it 😍 Highly. Recommended 👍🙏😜👏❤️🇨🇦
Mind share a rough example of your EDC? I'm thinking that the Kompak is perfect for my needs but I think hearing about other peoples uses and experience would really help me make the right decision
I think there is a conspiracy not to show the short end of bravo sling max strap. The one shot I could have clearly seen the short end, and he wore it backwards so the padding was not on his shoulder and his arm covered that end.
Certainly, here's a comparison between the Aer Day Sling 3 Max and the Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2: Design: The Aer Day Sling 3 Max has a minimalist and sleek design, while the Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2 has a more rugged and tactical look. Capacity: The Aer Day Sling 3 Max has a 6-liter capacity, while the Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2 has a slightly larger 8-liter capacity. Material: The Aer Day Sling 3 Max is made of water-resistant 1680D Cordura nylon, while the Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2 features a 1000D Kodra fabric with a weather-resistant coating. Pockets and organization: The Aer Day Sling 3 Max has a variety of pockets and organization features, including a front zip pocket, a main compartment, and a padded tablet sleeve. The Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2 also has multiple pockets, including a front admin pocket, a main compartment, and a rear padded tablet sleeve. Carrying options: The Aer Day Sling 3 Max can be worn as a shoulder bag or a crossbody bag, while the Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2 has an adjustable shoulder strap and can be worn as a sling or a waist bag. Price: The Aer Day Sling 3 Max is priced at around $80, while the Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2 is priced at around $90. Overall, both bags are excellent choices for those who want a compact and functional sling bag for their daily commute or travel. The Aer Day Sling 3 Max is ideal for those who prioritize a sleek design and minimalism, while the Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2 is more suitable for those who prefer a rugged and tactical style with more organization features.
@@RushfasterTV it is 8? but in their website, alpaka put 6 litres in description of the bags And alpaka is $109 btw Can u gimme ur opinion for those bags and the difference price between them? Also thank u for ur explanation 🤩😍
Great review and comparison. Some of these are really good ...However... AER Tech Sling 2 ...for me is better than all of these. Sleeker. MAt-Black and has the right amount of pockets. Love it! Better even that that is the Tumi Higgins Sling. Takes my Surface Pro, another tablet batteries and EDC kit along with a water bottle in a dedicated waterproof lined zipped up pocket ...can take a 20ounch bottle. There is even a pouch that can take another smaller water bottle if you need to have that with you. The sling is A Tardis! Absolutely love it. What do you think? Great video!
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that the AER Tech Sling 2 and the Tumi Higgins Sling have been such fantastic choices for your needs. Their sleek design and ample storage capacity seem to make them perfect companions for carrying your essentials:)
Alpaka’s got quite the appetite! 🥪😄 Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help with lunch, or anything else! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I like the look and feel of the Bellroy so much, but the lack of a compartment/separator for a tablet is a dealbreaker :( - and for the Alpaka larger sling the lack of straps on the bottom to attach a coat or tripod. Ended up with the AER Day Sling 3 for little items / passport control / lightweight carry and leaning towards the AER Travel Sling for day to day carry when I need my 14" Macbook with me.
It's understandable that some features we're no so keen about are dealbreakers. The AER Day Sling 3 seems like a great choice for lighter items and passport control, while the AER Travel Sling appears to be a suitable option for your day-to-day needs, especially accommodating your 14" MacBook. We hope these choices meet all your requirements! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask:)
Great review! Just a quick q, do you think you could fit an a4 or letter sized notebook or ipad 12.9 in the Alpaka Bravo x sling? Looking for a bag to fit my gear without getting into full backpack size! Thanks for the review, the beers r a great measure of volume!
The Alpaka Bravo X Sling is designed to be compact and lightweight, making it a great option for carrying gear without the bulk of a full-sized backpack. Regarding the sizing, the Alpaka Bravo X Sling is approximately 15 inches by 7 inches by 3 inches (38 cm by 18 cm by 7.6 cm), so it may be able to fit an A4 or letter-sized notebook, depending on its exact dimensions. However, it may be a bit tight to fit an iPad Pro with a 12.9-inch display, as that device is roughly 12 inches by 8.68 inches (30.5 cm by 22.1 cm). That being said, the Alpaka Bravo X Sling does feature multiple compartments and pockets, so you may be able to find a suitable spot for your notebook and iPad if you pack them carefully. Additionally, the sling's expandable design and compression straps can help to create more space as needed.
A bit late but that Aer 3 litre sling is about the maximum size i would go for. Any bigger than that you're better off with a proper backpack. It took me a long time to fix my shoulder imbalances from carrying a heavy sling bag mostly on my right shoulder.
It's wise to choose a sling bag size that suits your comfort and avoids strain. The AER 3-liter sling seems like a good fit for your needs, and it's crucial to prioritize your health by addressing shoulder imbalances. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Take care!
Thanks for the review - which of the smaller slings do you think would fit some camera gear like a Sony Alpha APSC and 2-3 lenses? Or would the Alpaka Bravo Max be the only one to fit this gear?
This is a great question that I am under-qualified to answer 😅 . I don't own any mirrorless / DSLR cameras. Padding wise, the Alpaka X and Max should have you covered. I personally use the WANDRD Roam sling (not for camera carry) and it has fantastic padding and may have the capacity you're looking for. I hope that was moderately helpful. - Theo
Patagonia Atom Sling 8L remains my fave - practical stylish build doesn't look like a box , comfortable, padding and pockets in all the right spots, zips all face upwards so you can't lose anything. Shame you no longer sell them
