I love the MC Sessions version of this. It doesn't have the same energy, but is cleaner. The angry parking attendant version is so funny, too. They were trying to film a video and got kicked out.
You could watch both back to back, they're so different. There's a live busking version too that went viral for them a few years ago.

Everyone is mentioning Ren's other versions of this song. It might be nice for you to react to all of them. They all add something of value: the busking in front of the old church will grab you, the angry carpark attendant is a must and the MC Sessions version is probably the best live recording technically. I don't mind, gimme anything from Ren and I will watch it.

It's like two guys got up one morning and said I bet this would sound cool. So, they grabbed their friend with a camera to film it.
They were right, it sounded awesome.

I know I'm late to this post so you may already know from info added to a future reaction but Sam and Ren met one day when Ren was on his way home from a day out busking. While walking home he came across Sam who was busking also but without the help of equipment and not really getting anyones attention. So Ren stopped and said, If you use my amp and mic I bet you could get the whole street to stop and listen. He set up his equipment and the street did indeed stop. They have been best mates ever since. There are loads of captivatingly creative compositions that Ren and Sam have done since that you have yet to discover. Also Sam Tompkins has been releasing his own stuff for a while now. Another warren to add to the rabbit whole you've already started down.

Sam has such an amazing voice, with a simply exquisite tone to it.
It gets lost on studio recordings though.
He is a singer who sounds so much better live. It doesn't matter if there are times he doesn't quite nail the note he was going for on the first try, he will hit it on the next... And both sound amazing, and are worth it to hear him sing live.
I listened to the songs on his channel and it's a bit of a bummer to hear his vocals over produced, losing something.
He does a cover of Stand By Me in his living room (I guess) that video is awesome.
They have great chemistry. What went wrong parts 1 and 2 are brilliant i wish someone would react to those

To be fair there's just so many good songs by Ren you could do one every day of the week for months . Ren and Sam cover a lot of songs together Latch is awesome. Then Ren with the Big Push Paint it Black and Sympathy for the devil are spectacular covers. I could go on and on 😄 Dominoes and Jessica are fab Ren songs ( obviously im not obsessed or anything 🙈) there's so much more 😫 I'm in way to deep. Your enthusiasm for music is great to see i love the reactions it gives me a big smile to see everyone reacting so positively 😊.
