Sargeras's reasons for his plans have been altered but not quite ret-conned. One of the orignal reasons was that he saw that Void could potentially corrupt a Worldsoul while it was still inside its planet-egg. Having a Void entity in the "real and living" world would be bad. Like having Matter and Anti-matter try to hang out, not a good idea. Back then the Void were described as living and feeding off souls and all the living, so if Sargeras just eradicated all Life in the universe the Voidlords would have no Life to consume and they would eventually starve to death. His reasoning was further that if Life could happen out of nowhere once, then given enough time it could do so again. Like imagine if Humans really F up Earth and everything on it just dies. Even trees, grass and cockroaches. Something happened that caused Life to happen once and given enough millennia it is likely to happen again. One-in-a-gazillion chances suddenly become guaranteed if you have infinite time. In a more recent amd modified version of Sargeras he instead wanted to partner up with Azeroth, ither as a partner or as his Queen while he ruled the world, and so instead of wanting to kill Azeroth and all Life he now wants to partner up with the (probably) most powerful Titan and together fight the Evil.
Nah, it's more hinted that Azeroth ISN'T a titan and that a lot of what we know are small lies by the titans to justify keeping Azeroth imprisoned. Sargeras likely wanted to free Azeroth.
" Like having Matter and Anti-matter try to hang out, not a good idea." Some random guy says some dumb shit in a video and people parrot it everywhere, it's really fascinating
Just gonna point this out, That version of Dimensius was just an "image" of him, because void lords cannot just manifest in the physical world, similar to how Sargeras had to use an Avatar of himself to fight on Azeroth

WoW storytelling is kinda meh, the npc and parts of the world only move whenever they become relevant. For example, Locus-Walker explaining their people and home planet situation shouldve been established expansions ago.
it was but just not in a lot of detail. In TBC they literally said, "Our home world was destroyed by a void creature called Dimensious" or something to that degree. You can go to Nagrand, find some of them even now in Outland and they will tell you the lore from 15 years ago.
@IceTax69 So Locus-Walker, an Ethereal, has to PERSONALLY re-explain the situation of his people, which other members of the Ethereals have already told us, MULTIPLE TIMES, in order for this bit of information to be important to the Story, LATER ON? Am I understanding this now?
No one enjoys weeb tuber content. We all know weeb tubers are compensating trying to look atractive through an anime character that looks nothing like them because it makes them feel good to actually be wanted. Even if its not who they are the attention feels good knowing people dont want to watch you because your not attractive but instead watch you for something you are not. Its kinda sad but to grow up and be better you gotta accept the truth. The truth hurts because you know the truth too but youve just been hiding it from everyone and yourself. Guarantee any weeb tuber that actually shows their face instead of anime weeb crap will either get a big boom of followers/subscribers because you owned being you and thats what people respect and want to see or vise versa will happen.
wait, wow has all this lore? lmao, played wow for 20 years and never gave a shit about any of that. what wow really is: elves vs orcs, undead vs humans. farming mobs. that's it. all this lore with named characters just feels artificially grafted on.
Kinda same, but it is hard to not knowing it when its pieces of the story are everywhere. Almost nothing major has changed since Warcraft III story, other things were doomed to happen, and so were obvious.
what is so damn epic is that void lords are literally the most powerful if they get to fight on their own home turf, like a titan has no chance there
