Kevin , I just had to tell you how much your blog this weeks has helped me. I have always been a , glass is half full person, love to laugh, positive person. But the last to weeks has taken me down a dark path. I have been quarantined by myself for the last month. My precious older sister passed away Thursday by herself from COVID , my granddaughter is recovering from this plague and on top of it all, my partner’s son starts very intense treatment for inoperable brain cancer. And the hits keep on coming. I have been doing most of the things that you were talking about to help fight with his loneliness and depression but I guess I need to up my game. Putting my shoes on and taking a long walk. What you are doing is a life line for a lot of people. Thank you so much. God bless you.

I'm so very thankful I'm in Texas. As stated by another poster, we are still living mostly normal here, even in late November 2021. I so appreciate your videos because I'm very drawn to your country but know I'll never make it in person. The cities don't interest me but the beautiful countryside and villages certainly do! Kevin, I started watching your series on Amazon Prime a few days ago. I started with the launching of Aslan and into season three. I am enjoying the series very much. Thank you for the view of England that very few Americans have ever seen. I was stationed in Germany in the '70s and 80's which afforded me the opportunity to see England and I and my Lady-Wife made several trips but we did not see the parts that you show. Thank You.
I just got done watching all of your seasons on Amazon Prime and enjoyed it immensely; thank you again for taking us along with you on your travels. It's just my personal impression, but you seem to be of much better outlook and disposition than you were when you first set out aboard Aslan even with all of the current challenging circumstances. I can't thank you enough for sharing your experiences on your narrowboat! This was the first time I had ever heard of or seen narrowboats or the canals of the UK. My quick business trips to the UK have only included London. I found you on Prime and your episodes literally got me through the past year. Just before going to sleep, I would watch you and Aslan travel through the countryside and forget about the stress of the pandemic for a few minutes each day. Thank you for keeping me sane and opening my eyes to narrowboating! I now spend my days daydreaming about when it will be safe to travel from New England to England and spend a week in a narrowboat hotel.

Lockdowns are not good anywhere so please respect what the guy's feelings are. We are not on FB‐which I canceled an hour ago because I am tired of negative people and Kevin is always positive and tries to lift people up not down.. He is such a breath of fresh air and I'm so glad his video popped up tonight. We are fortunate to be in Florida where we basically have no lockdowns except those we put on ourselves. We love Kevin's videos and enjoyed every single minute of the first 4 seasons. My only complaints are my husband expects me to cook the yummy meals that Kevin cooks and we had Travels by Narrowboat withdrawals for weeks. We love you Kevin!!! Like you all our plans for last year went down the pan, but i used the time well in many others ways, mostly good days, but have the odd dark one, which under the circumstances is not surprising. Keep walking Kevin. I turned 70 a few weeks ago and I’m doing 10,000 steps a day.My wife and I also won the Vaccine sweepstakes and got the Moderna shot on January 29th through sheer luck. My daughter and I made a list of everything we CAN do to take the focus off all the things we can't Lots of simple pleasures aside from walking (which is itself the simplest of pleasures) Reading,resting, eating, sleeping,doing yoga, watching escapist TV, learning about nature.. the list is as long as you can make it cos,for all the shitshow we're experiencing life itself IS a gift I can't bubble with another house cos my kid goes between parents in 2 households already but you could..just to get through to spring in decent mental health Thanks for the videos x

Kevin , I just had to tell you how much your blog this weeks has helped me. I have always been a , glass is half full person, love to laugh, positive person. But the last to weeks has taken me down a dark path. I have been quarantined by myself for the last month. My precious older sister passed away Thursday by herself from COVID , my granddaughter is recovering from this plague and on top of it all, my partner’s son starts very intense treatment for inoperable brain cancer. And the hits keep on coming. I have been doing most of the things that you were talking about to help fight with his loneliness and depression but I guess I need to up my game. Putting my shoes on and taking a long walk. What you are doing is a life line for a lot of people. Thank you so much. God bless you.

I'm so very thankful I'm in Texas. As stated by another poster, we are still living mostly normal here, even in late November 2021. I so appreciate your videos because I'm very drawn to your country but know I'll never make it in person. The cities don't interest me but the beautiful countryside and villages certainly do! Thank you for taking us around England on the canals.

Kevin, I started watching your series on Amazon Prime a few days ago. I started with the launching of Aslan and into season three. I am enjoying the series very much. Thank you for the view of England that very few Americans have ever seen. I was stationed in Germany in the '70s and 80's which afforded me the opportunity to see England and I and my Lady-Wife made several trips but we did not see the parts that you show. Thank You.
I just got done watching all of your seasons on Amazon Prime and enjoyed it immensely; thank you again for taking us along with you on your travels. It's just my personal impression, but you seem to be of much better outlook and disposition than you were when you first set out aboard Aslan even with all of the current challenging circumstances. I can't thank you enough for sharing your experiences on your narrowboat! This was the first time I had ever heard of or seen narrowboats or the canals of the UK. My quick business trips to the UK have only included London.
I found you on Prime and your episodes literally got me through the past year. Just before going to sleep, I would watch you and Aslan travel through the countryside and forget about the stress of the pandemic for a few minutes each day.
Thank you for keeping me sane and opening my eyes to narrowboating! I now spend my days daydreaming about when it will be safe to travel from New England to England and spend a week in a narrowboat hotel.

Lockdowns are not good anywhere so please respect what the guy's feelings are. We are not on FB‐which I canceled an hour ago because I am tired of negative people and Kevin is always positive and tries to lift people up not down.. He is such a breath of fresh air and I'm so glad his video popped up tonight. We are fortunate to be in Florida where we basically have no lockdowns except those we put on ourselves. We love Kevin's videos and enjoyed every single minute of the first 4 seasons. My only complaints are my husband expects me to cook the yummy meals that Kevin cooks and we had Travels by Narrowboat withdrawals for weeks. We love you Kevin!!! Many thanks for all of your video's, we found you again on You Tube after enjoying all of your Canal videos over the last few years. Like you all our plans for last year went down the pan, but i used the time well in many others ways, mostly good days, but have the odd dark one, which under the circumstances is not surprising. Anyhow, you look after yourself, and if you ever pass my way on your motorbike the kettle is always on.

Keep walking Kevin. I turned 70 a few weeks ago and I’m doing 10,000 steps a day.My wife and I also won the Vaccine sweepstakes and got the Moderna shot on January 29th through sheer luck. Second dose on Feb. 26. Looking forward to season 7 . I watch and rewatch your earlier seasons. I find them very calming.

Twice I have been yelled at by small minded people, have to control myself to not hit them with my cane lol. Yes, my blind mother has been in lockdown at her assisted living place for six months. I’ve been watching your videos a while, and growing up in the US (ugh it’s a crappy thing right now), I never knew about the canals. Now someday, I’d love to see where you live! Reading,resting, eating, sleeping,doing yoga, watching escapist TV, learning about nature.. the list is as long as you can make it cos,for all the shitshow we're experiencing life itself IS a gift
I can't bubble with another house cos my kid goes between parents in 2 households already but you could..just to get through to spring in decent mental health
