- Honestly! Sheep on the roof! In our latest narrowboat journey, we leave Cabus Nook and slowly take narrowboat Silver Fox back down the Lancaster Canal, south towards Preston for our return crossing of the Ribble Link.
We call at Garstang for a couple of days to check out the town, and we visit the Wyre Aqueduct built by John Rennie.
Colin finally gets the kayak he's been wanting for months, then takes the clippers to Shaun's hair.
After that, we visit Barton Grange, home of the marina, a world-famous garden centre, and the Flower Bowl entertainment centre where we have a go at the crazy golf.

We picked up narrowboat Cedar from Barton Grange for our holiday recently and were completely delighted with the canal, even though we live locally. I totally agree. Getting out and doing some physical activity helps greatly with my mental health. I mountain bike as I tried Kayaking once and ended up like Shaun did in one of your video's. I was upside down and very wet. Keep it up gentlemen, love your video's. All the best.

I use to kayak a lot till my wrists and shoulders gave out, still canoe a little though. Good for Colin for getting the boat. Camera work and Shaun's faces, excellent as always!

It's really great to see the Lancaster Canal being enjoyed. When we lived there in the'80s we used to walk and cycle along the towpaths almost never seeing a soul, a boat cruising down the canal was a real highlight.

It's the same people every week, Peter. It doesn't hurt the channel or ratings and they do look pretty pathetic compared to the likes each video gets. We let them have their little hissy-hate-fit 😂

The videography and music selections were once again absolutely amazing; as professional (or more) than anything you find on TV. I'm guessing you have hours of editing to be able to capture these 15 to 20 minutes for each vlog. The drone work in last week's episode was awsome as well. We realize that living on board a narrowboat is not all fun and games, but you definitely portray the best of what it has to offer. (And the outtakes are always great!) Well done!

The kayak is a perfect colour match for the Silver Fox....now you need another for Shaun...a his and his duo. Great haircut ... Colin do not worry about the length or colour of your hair....a fact of life is that when we age...so goes the days of dark brown or black hair. Love the look of salt and pepper and silver hair will go perfectly with the boat.

Garstang was lovely! One of the places I'd love to visit again, although better mooring slightly out of town to avoid the noise. I guess I should accept my age, and the salt & pepper hair! I doubt you'll see Shaun in a kayak. His balance is terrible, as we found out the last time he tried getting in one! 😂 x

Could watch an hour long episode of "blue sky cruising" (4min30) Fantastic camera composition, editing and music choice - I could physically feel my heart rate, blood pressure and stress reduce significantly. I can tell, much thought and time goes in to your vLog - it's well worth it as it shows. As another comment mentions "far better produced than some commercial TV programs" The content is really enjoyable, humorous, fun, serious and informative. Finally found the episode of the only canal I remember from the Uk. I remember Garstang well but Barton Grange has changed so much from the 1990's, it was a big garden centre back then. I also remember the odd cider by the canal at Old Nells pub in bilsborrow, it had a thatched roof, near Myerscough college.
