Hi
Hello
i feel like an idiot here i thought i had to manually do them thank god, because the official website for my drivers dont even have everything that i had before on windows 10
What MoBo chipset & ICH were u using? I’m updating a 2011 Tylersburg
i5510 ICH10R. None of the current to old list my chipset. The ASUS site had old versions but RAID Utility wouldn’t install. Odd as I know I installed it yrs ago under Windows Server 2008. I’m in AHCI RAID ready getting my disc set up for 4x RAID 1+0
IntelRST won't install until you prepared your drives in raid array (via RAID bios).
When I install the new RST2 drivers, my windows still doesn't let me update because it says I don't have the right RST drivers :/ do you have any idea?
Same problem.
Kenneth Cox solved it. Here is how I did it:
-uninstall the intel RST software
-go to C/Windows/system32/Drivers and rename the file „iastora.sys“ to something Else.
-restart PC
-update
@@sondant4224 computer crash after trying this.
...so... It's not your fault. I failed to rename the ".sys" part of the file only changing what precedes it (iastora) and Bam! Total laptop chaos. Had to do a complete recovery reset.
So as a heads up to others, make sure to change the ".sys" to something like ".sys_X" or ".sys_old" etc.
FeelitSupreme I‘m really sorry dude. Someone posted this in reddit and ist worked for me, too. Just wanted to help :/
@@felixsupreme22 I renamed the file from "iastora.sys" to "iastora_old.sys" and it worked for me. When I hovered over the file, it said it was from 2016. After I changed the name, I then re-installed the latest driver 17.5.1.1021 and then after restarting, tried the windows update again and it finally made it through.
What is the benefits after installing intel rapid technology
Smoother system performance in the cost of little more memory usage...
@@CSnev3r with Extra Memory usage will it slow down the system ?
@@gmp_gmp if using programs that are memory intensive, like google, then yes
