    Thanks for the overview, I really like the new styling and we have just bought a Limited. A couple of points of clarification
    The Captains Chairs are only available on the Calligraphy trim in the USA
    The Limited only has a single wireless phone charger, the Calligraphy has the dual wireless phone charger. I think Hyundai and the dealers are going to get a lot of confusion from customers as the center console design makes it look like both sides are wireless phone chargers in the Limited and lesser trims.

      Thank you, Alex! That was my confusion too, in regards to the dual charger. Also, does your car's dashboard illuminate with LED light lines?

    The third row does have his own climate control is located in the trunk next to the cup holders. I just picked up my limited two weeks ago and I am loving it.

    I’ve had three Santa Fe’s Sport Turbo’s. No serious problems. My 2018 had a recall on paint chipping on front hood. Hyundai took care of it under their warranty. I take care of the car religiously. The ride is nice on a smooth long freeway drive. However,on a bumpy country road, you will feel the bumps. I have the turbo, plenty of power and great at passing another vehicle when you need to. Great turning radius so great around town , parking and maneuvering. Good gas mileage about 20 mpg around town and as much as 30 mpg on long freeway drives. My vehicle is fully loaded, leather,heated seats, steering wheel, full sun roof, blind spot monitoring system, cruise control, etc. etc. A good value for what you get. It’s not a Lexus quality but materials hold up well so far. I have 59k miles on it.

    You're a big guy. I am also. Did you feel that the seats are a bit small compared to other SUV'S? They look like they are when you are sitting in the driver's seat.

      I'm 5'9 196 and they were right on my hips and shoulders. Compared to like Jeep/Ford/Chevy SUVs certainly on the snug side but on track with the European/ Asian SUVs.

    Thinking I may go for this except hybrid but FWD limited trim. I actually don't like captains chairs and as far as I can tell, the only features the limited is missing from calligraphy is captains chairs, nappa leather and heads up display.

      The hybrid gas mileage is insanely good can't wait for those to hit the streets. I agree on limited over calligraphy. Not too much make or break

    Love it!it’s pathfinder meets ford flex impressive turbo power comparable to a V6, but with much better mpg(25 mpg)! It’s a winner can you believe it more aerodynamic than the curvy MURANO at .29 drag coefficient the boxy shape is just an illusion this sleek. 0-60 is impressive too( 6.6)

    So. You have to move the 2nd row seats back all the way before the fold flat? What?

    • @LJsGarage
      @LJsGarage  6 месяцев назад

      That's in every car just because of the room needed to not hit the first row of seats of that makes sense! Little clunky but normal

    great review (following you now), I'm beginning to lean toward the Santa Fe hybrid. Quick question since I'm not in a rush, i heard the Palisade is coming with a new body, do you know if that's true and when it might be coming out? Thanks !

    • @LJsGarage
      @LJsGarage  5 месяцев назад

      I appreciate the support my friend! Santa Fe hybrid makes so much sense. Fantastic gas mileage for the size. Rumor is fall release for the new Palisade. They already have the test mules running around in camo so can't imagine they'd wait till winter.

    I love the car buy I'm concerned about Hyundai's reliability. I've heard horror stories of people having to replace their engines on previous models. I hope its not the case with this current Santa Fe engine.

      The v6s had some issues early on but most have been smoothed out and the 4 cyls have been out for a long time id trust those and long warranty on these just in case. Thanks for stopping by the channel 😁

      Agree I think they missed the mark on that. Could have been an easy snag from the Palisades

    Not a comfortable drive, lots of noise in the cabin and especially when revving up the engine. Test drove it yesterday. There is a reason why the highest trim won't be more than 50K.

    • @LJsGarage
      @LJsGarage  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Depends what you are comparing it to for sure. I can agree to the road noise and depending on which mode you are in it can be a bit of a noisy engine. It is a hair below the telluride, grand Cherokee, Atlas types on driving experience

    XRT is too bare bones, useless for me.
    I wish they did a XRT+ Limited blend or XRT+ calligraphy blend adding the 360 camera, and HDA2 capabilities.

    • @LJsGarage
      @LJsGarage  6 месяцев назад

      That's a sweet idea I mean Jeep does that with their trailhawk and even Toyota blends luxury into the new sequoia. Probably just price point that doesn't make it work from a business perspective.

    You are manipulating the car to find fault with it. You were wrong about the legroom of the seats. Also, if you slide the seats that far forward, they won't recline when you try to recline them. Let me be clear, the promotion you made is not objective. You stupidly criticized an award-winning design
