A small model I found on clearance and then failed to put together properly. Oh well, serves me right for reading instructions in a language I don't speak. Highly recommend this model if you can find it. Развлечения

@@13steampunk thx
lol Nicely done! Now it's my turn. It awaits me out on the bench.
MHFROX good luck! Make sure to follow the instructions. Don't be like me and have dissasemble half the clock
Thanx! Got it all laid out...now trying decide if I want to do a little air-brushing (met gold) and if so, on what parts before I start putting it together. lol
MHFROX ooooo! I lacked a place to paint in my apartment but that sounds like it could be a very cool idea. Maybe some weathering and petina?
...perhaps. Still pondering. :) Nice idea tho!
When you put aside the knife like that it gives me anxiety.
I just built mine but no matter how much weight I use it'll run then stop after a few seconds. It won't even make a full revolution of the bottom cogged wheel. What am I doing wrong?
First, go back over the steps and make sure you assembled it right. The big problem I faced with mine that only arose after I stopped the cameras was friction stopping the machine. Maybe there is a plastic burr somewhere causing the machine to slow. Those two weights at the top act as a basic timing adjuster. You might also fiddle with those. Hope this helps
Thanks, I think it's a friction problem, I can get it to work but I think a tiny amount of lithium grease on the cogs may help.
I would not have suggested grease. Maybe some graphite (Always used it for Pinewood Derpy car axels in the Boy Scouts to reduce friction. Maybe just smooth with sandpaper or a hobby knife?
Good idea, that's what I'll do, thanks!
onde posso comprar esse tipo relogio amigo
Amazon
Legit I got one I did exactly as the instructions said and it didnt work
Afraid I can't help you there. Did you add weights to the bucket?
太棒了
Thank you. It is indeed pretty awesome.
donde puedo comprar este reloj, y cual es el precio. gracias.
Lo encontré en Amazon. Cuesta unos veinte dólares cuando lo compré. Apologías para mi pobre español
i here these are not reliable clocks as they only run for a vary short time
They are not reliable in any way. Purely exist to demonstrate Da Vinci's design as well as to show how clockwork functions. For the cost, truly an interesting concept but really not meant to be anything other than a novelty desk decoration.
how long will it run for?
Only a few minutes.
Thank You@@13steampunk
How in the hell do you knot the damn string? The instructions are god awful at explaining it and your video isn't necessarily supposed to be instructional with its speed. Does it matter at all how its knotted, or not?
I just tied a noose knot for the ones holding the basket.
