To anyone having Issues getting the timer to work, one thing I can suggest is to lubricate the shafts and moving parts. While mine managed to work first time with little troubleshooting, time skip to today it no longer works due to the parts not being able to move smoothly and also the metal ball rusting making it hard to roll down.
I had the direction of the piece at 3:45 wrong and it didn't work. Reversed it and it works fine though I think my curved arms need attention as it often sticks on the left hand end. Great product!!
between 7 through 8 minutes of they video you assembled the rocker arm this part spins when fully assembled and the rolling ball timer does not work. I watched this video 3 times to se if I might have done something wrong and this thing does not work. No matter how many coins I put in the weight or how I adjust the weight arm it just won't work. I looked at reviews and saw too many similar complaints. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
There are little plastic shards that can be on the those two black curved arms that go down through the ball platform. Mine didn't work ether, until I just smoothed off those shards down at the bottom of the arms. Now it works.

Also, don't have the arm clips that hold them on tight. Keep them loose. The more play they have the better it works.
