    I also have organic gardens in Ontario, Ottawa, area.
    I have my worms helping me, I have over 10k in bins in my basement, and they make beautiful castings out of our food waste, plus our local grocery store once a week, saves me their waste for me.
    Also, my compost heaps in the back forty, lol.

    One thing you can do for a spray that is purely natural is to take raw garlic and purée it and then get some peppermint leaves and purée them with the garlic… the. Blend them all together with water… strain out their "chunks" until you just have the liquid… put it in a spray bottle and spray the leaves of your p,ants… it will keep all of the bugs off… purely organic… it works well… it’s not 100% but it does work well…
    I agree with another poster that your carrot beds are not deep enough… they should be a lot deeper and soft soil…

    Some Carrot growing information. Your bed depth is fine. They need loose soil to grow well. If your planting medium is not worked to a sufficient depth, too heavy or if there any obstacles such as rocks, hard clumps or if you used pieces of wood as a base filler the carrots will deform. Some sand mixed with the growing medium would also help My late Father in law would actually sift his soil where the Carrots were planted! I spent time in the Philippines when in the US Navy. I found the Philipino people to be Gentle, Friendly and Kind. PS Fozi is "Da Man"....

      @HiddenSpringFarm  5 дней назад

      @@BarnCatAlley thnx for the tips. I figured the bed is deep enough too although others said it’s not but last year all the carrots grew fine. "You know the beets are ready to harvest when they're peeking out of the soil?"
    Yes, I'm well aware-I'm quite the seasoned Minecraft gardener myself!

      No, but you noticed there are fewer eh. 2 hens are in the chicken house healing and a few aren’t coming out to the orchard. (Their choice)

    Fernando Magallanes landed in the Philippines on 1521, and from thereafter Philippines was under the colony of Spain until it ceded its control to the U.S.A. under the Treaty of Paris on 1898. Long history and influence of Spain. Interestingly, the Spanish language never took a deep root that for a short period of time, american english becomes the norm of almost everything up until this time.😮😅

    Have you ever considered getting other livestock like cows or sheep? I would love to see you build a small barn after your sawmill is complete! I love your videos and I hope you can start making revenue off of RUclips soon.
    edit. Bee keeping would be a cool venture too!

      Of course but step by step. First year ducks & chickens. 2nd year geese & rabbits. 3rd year mini pigs and this year we added turkeys. As we continue to develop the farm and are somewhat sustainable cause bigger animals cost a lot, but we’ll get there. Bees are on my wish list too 🐝

      I figured pigs could eat everything, anything else not good for them?
