You’re right. Perhaps, I need to really show who I really am. I wouldn’t lie and tell you that a lot of your nuances and I observations in this video weren’t hurtful, I did feel like shit. But I guess, we all need to be better, including me. However, thank you for atleast being so graceful and having an elegant approach for doing this. I really appreciate it.
We know how much you have worked hard to reach here and how you have been a role model to many so please do take this as a constructive criticism and start uploading in youtube as well Love from your old subscribers
I am 19 now...I have been watching you from the last half of my teenage..I learned everything about fashion aesthetic from u..but some how now I can't relate to your content anymore..We want u to interact with us..😭u used to be the elder sister ,I always asked for.
Hey Komal...Miss you so much here on RUclips..as I don't have an Instagram account...but whenever I get the time.. I keep checking your content there too using my brother's phone😅 I'm not in a mood to give you any kinda constructive criticism right now.. just wanted to say.. I'm really proud of you..Loads of love from a fellow Bihari😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Keep Saying!🔥
Don't look upto anyone and don't look down on anyone. - Sadhguru Fashion is a product of capitalism. What we put on our body gets absorbed into the skin and most of makeup is chemicals. People get sick eating and consuming artifical chemicals, that helps the med industry make bucks. We are beautiful as we are. ❤️🙏
She's very creative, definitely. But her content is not relatable. Her style/content is of no use to people, at least the majority of us. And that's the only problem I have with her content.
I don't care for her content or any of her work. What matters to me is that she is triggering mental health illnesses by promoting body dysmorphia, eating disorders, and borderline anorexic aspirations among her followers. How and whatever her lifestyle and physiological and psychological health may be, she needs to be stopped from instilling unrealistic health standards among the youth and adult minds who watch her religiously.
My problem with komal pandey is she literally can't take criticism. She just blocks everyone who criticize or comment not in her favor and she just made a video saying that don't say I have changed or did you have lip filler, etc and if somebody does she will block them.
Getting a lip filler is her choice but there are 14-16 year old kids watching these videos .. Adults ( 22-26 years old ) will not take it seriously ..kids will ..Not acknowledging it makes it worse . Even Kardashians are criticized for that..
I unfollowed komal pandey this year. I'm all for making a luxurious life for yourself and upgrading your lifestyle. We obviously cannot expect her to be the same college girl who shops all her outfits from Sarojini but the way she flipped, she literally switched from a girl we all loved to someone as unrelatable as a Hollywood celebrity. I completely agree with the points you made for her lack of acknowledgement, superiority complex and supermodel fantasy. Also that woman just does not know how to take criticism. I've seen her delete so many comments which only wanted her to improve. Akriti Rana(another influencer) made a funny reel on how certain outfits are impractical in real life, her name was mentioned nowhere yet the way Komal snapped back at her made me lose all my respect for her. If you call yourself an influencer you need to be mindful of the kind of influence you are making, you cannot survive long with the same ignorant "this is who I am, if you dont like it, please leave" replies.
Finally someone noticed that .... I felt so bad for aakriti Rana when she snapped back with that scarf picture .... and I was thinking if anyone else noticed it too
even bella hadid and gigi hadid show their real selves and candid moments on Instagram when they’re not working. Its completely alright to have big dreams. Her videos are aesthetic and she does have the knack to make her impractical clothing look classy. But, there is a need for her to acknowledge the fact that the clothes are not meant for daily life. One also does not constantly have to be put together and in good clothes to capture the audience. Dolly singh’s tiny blue house video gained more attention than any of her comedy videos because audience craves that rare relatability amidst the plastic that social media has become. Another problem is that she has become completely intolerant to any kind of constructive criticism. She’s literally so “i am perfect” on Instagram that she felt the need to make a story about the fact that she was in a sweatshirt one day. I loved what you’ve done with this research and video as a whole. ❤️
Don't idolize ANYONE, be it actors/politicians/youtubers, anyone. Inculcate and admire their good values and leave it there.No-one is perfect and it is damn easy to fool anyone in this social media world. Don't be so blinded by anyone that you can't see them in a critical view .
This video is just attention seeking attempt. You said she should not say that if you hate me don’t watch me, unsub me! Dude you and your friend prakhar on live say the same thing!! How much hypocrite you can be? She get tons of hate.. and people hate when other climbs ladder. This video has no valid points. She changed because shew grew up. If she wants to be supermodel let her be. Why you have problem with it? Why you are so much concerned about her goals. Think again. She has never said idealise me. People do what they want. Zabardasti ki female creaters ki burai kyu karta hai?
She isn't that bad... But all her styling ideas are not that great.ab shirt ke upar chaddi pehenana is not acceptable anywhere.... I've worked as a stylist for many brands and shoots... She is creative but not all of them can be adopted practically...
her content is not made for whats acceptable in society and whats not. its simply her way of expression and her fashion. If you dont wanna wear it, dont.
I was a huge komal pandey fan like huge but she became totally unrelatable , she doesn't even make fashion content for other body types so I un followed her
To be fair... She does support girls with other body types and has has made videos in the past for outfits for curvy girls and stuff... Also you wouldn't expect a big girl to make videos for thin girls so why expect Komal to necessarily make videos for chubby girls?
@@taniak4509 she has made it in past I agree , but to me komal pandey was the first fashion vlogger I'm watching her since pop xo also u can check out sakshi she always features skinny girls as well in her videos till date , and yes that is why I un followed her as I said , its not like I'm showing hate or I'm jealous I'm glad she has achieved big in insta , but still if u would have seen komal pandey since the beginning u will tend to expect as vedant said earlier audience do expect alot from her
@@taniak4509 and yes I never said she doesn't support , but if u look at her content since one year there has been no video about chubby girl , and also totally unrelatable that's y I said I un followed her
@@swatkat_47 I do follow Sakshi I've never seen her feature thin girls but if you're saying then chalo maan liya 😂 Komal is unrelatable for me too and I feel like her style is unrelatable for most people regardless of the body type. This had been on my mind for a long time, seeing her recent 'virality'. She kept showing up on my Instagram Explore and something with her content didn't sit right with me. It's difficult to express because people automatically tend to assume that not liking her is a direct statement on her 'boldness'. It's honestly not. There's just no depth and meaning in the content. LOVED the point on you made on the "platform switch". I'm a student of Sociology and I'm really considering writing a paper on this now hahaha! Subscribed tooo! All the best!! 🙌🏼💛
Omg!! I truly connect with you the words you wrote here is exactly my feelings.. I have been following her even before she started her own channel and I kinda stopped admiring her not because she is bold cuz that she was since always, it's like something feels off. And I too am a sociology student.
I totally get what u mean I donot follow her But she keeps popping up on my explore page and i always think what do i find wrong why doesnt it sit right with me. And sometimes the way she has gone on and on about her haters you feel scared to even think something even slightly negative in ur head
I used to admire her a lot last year tak. She wore a freaking Saree at a goa beach shack, that IMO was bold and inspiring. But the moment she started having this "superiority complex", that "likeable" factor was out of the window. Ive been saying this kaafi time se that she's living in her fantasy where SHE IS KENDALL! Why would we want to see a fantasy-Kendall when we have a very real one?! 🤷 Arrogance in the name of "growth", surrounding by "yes mam"s in the name of "cheerleaders". I believe, if she believes in her growth, then she should accept the fact that you can't fool people, conveniently talking about her "flat" boobs and bum while NO OTHER SOUL has EVER pointed out these things. She does and says things to grab the eyeballs and it is VERY evident. You point it out and you're a "hater". I follow certain international influencers and she is "INSPIRED" 😏 by them from hairstyles/styling to video production too.
Yeah I agree..but in her perspective I think she liked to change herself..she wanted to have them maybe!!?? But for me she was more pretty before all her surgeries she has donr
I am a youtuber and a fashion design graduate from NIFT . Here is my view on this. She has gone from relatable fashion to inspirational fashion. There is nothing wrong in it, but this will create a disconnect from the audience that will be difficult to reconnect . If we go by your theory of the supermodel aspiration, then she is doing bang on! As a supermodel you need to inspire brands, be a muse. The persona that she has, brands will want to create a style for her /based on her. It's great the work she is doing, what she is missing out on is the fact that actual supermodels are now trying hard to be 'relatable' . To show their 'not so perfect' side. She currently has a HUGE advantage of having that audience , my personal view is that she should use her Instagram Stories or some platform to show her 'not so perfect side'. The mundane life, the messy hair, the selfies that you would normally delete. She has so much potential to be top of the Fashion Industry, but she is missing out on the fact that you do need the 'normal' people to stand by you too, to make you 'famous'. Look at Sabyasachi, not everyone can afford him but they like to look at his designs, buy copies of his designs, he is famous that every household knows his name. There are many other designers that make amazing clothes but they are not known in the masses. If she truely wants to create a famous brand /persona, she needs to take care of the common people that follow her too.
@@anshitajain6219 normal middle class people don't look like that, don't wear makeup like that, don't wear clothes like that, neither do have those many resources. How is she an influencer if young people like us aren't being able to learn even a single thing from her content. It just makes a person so much more self conscious about how they look. That's why her instagram became toxic for me.
I can't relate to her either but just imagine five years later you earn more money, get famous, etc and evolve without doing anything wrong and people are thrashing you for that. Why is it so wrong to look out for yourself.
I don't even follow Komal's content but I clicked on it because there was a video in which a nutritionist was reacting to her 'What I eat in a day' video and I saw comments like "she's really changed". I knew her from those popxo videos and since then I haven't followed her RUclips videos because those were no use of me (fashion isn't my thing) but the fact that I love how you analyse everything and then criticise and it needs guts to do so. I liked how you talked about the 'influence' on audience and how and why it's affecting them. Keep it up!
@Xendex Motorsports Yep, I'm a girl and I'm really not interested in fashion. The clothes I wear just needs to be comfy and presentable and that's it. I'm lazy and a perfectionist both at the same time and it'd take me ages to decide what to wear everyday and I don't wanna waste my time on that. And that's why I don't follow fashion trends or RUclips channels related to them.
I followed her for quite sometime. I unfollowed her recently, because, 1. Unrelatable 2. I dont understand her fashion. (It may be great, just not my thing) 3. She has turned plastic! How can you not know that ghee is dairy!
I guess if you have so much knowledge there's nothing stopping you to reach her level of success instead of commenting on her with your useless existence
In regards to your point of a personality difference between Instagram and RUclips, i’d just like to say that influencers like Dolly Singh, Ankush Bahuguna and more have managed to showcase their personalities through the limited time window on Instagram too. Their relatability has not diluted and I give them their DUE credit for that. With Komal, even though I am not a fan of hers, i feel a certain sense of distance. She isn’t as approachable as those I have mentioned above. Her impact is undeniable because she has built her brand herself, but the fact that the audience feels a sense of detachment from her can dissolve all that impact. It’s not about the platform, I believe, its more about the person behind the camera.
Thank you Vedant for such a great analysis of Komal Pandey as a RUclipsr/Influencer. I was trying to explain to my sister the other day why I'm no longer a fan of her because of her seeming completely disconnected from her earlier persona and how in comparison I highly respected Dolly Singh (her best friend) for staying true to her personality inspite of switching platforms, just like her. The word I used was that Dolly seemed more a 'grounded' person while Komal did not. And yes, they both are in completely different industries now - Comedy and Fashion. But success can obviously get you carried away, which I feel has happened with Komal and not with Dolly. Vedant, I do hope that you do a similar analysis on Dolly Singh. Would love to watch it, for sure. 😊
Fair observations made and glad you expressed views that resonate. I don't follow her but lately i visit her handles like a case study... in observation of psychology behind the content she creates. Some observations that i had gathered before i came across your video: 1. She is a smart learner who has picked the good elements from Indian and international fashion which is commendable. But has made herself inauthentic in adapting aspects that's not naturally her. A 'put on' persona that the audience clearly sees through. 2. She gets affected by criticism and despite being big in her zone, hasn't really taken it in her stride. More often than not, through her videos, she's trying to prove a point. Most of her content is screaming "Hey there, i look fab!" And got much less to do with audience needs. If you use your audience for views and likes but don't treat them as a community to give and take from, it can all get disconnected. 3. Wanting to always be proper and perfect has worked against her. Which is why, beyond her funkily edited videos, she's not been appealing to her own audience. Interviews, lives with other people, any other format where she appears, she loses that control that she usually has on her own videos. And it's evident. 4. Somewhere the superiority is also a put on mask in lieu of an IDGAF empowered persona. The previous person she was earlier, might be looked down upon by her own current self. That's not an evolved sense of self. 5. Acknowledging feedback is important, even in the journey of a drastic transformation. She could consider a more mature approach to doing that. (All in good spirits!) Thanks Vedant, for being so nuanced. Admire your efforts. :)
That's a great psychoanalysis! I absolutely agree with all that you said. No shit, she's superbly creative and talented but I believe the biggest issue surrounding Komal is that who she's become today doesn't come naturally to her and it's glaringly obvious. Also, her unwillingness to create practically useful content for the masses and gross inability to realistically deal with her audience when they have some sincere constructive criticism to share are some major sources of her Achilles heel. I think she could make a sit-down video highlighting the moments in her life that have led to her metamorphosing with such dramatic intensity so that her fans might get a chance to better understand where she's coming from. That could potentially bust a lot of myths. In the end, I'd like to point out that social media is a trap bc each one of us has the chance to show or hide aspects of our lives as we please and so, no one really has the right to dissect anyone's personality based on their social media page. It's as simple as that. We're so much more than our stories, posts and reels, including public personalities like Komal.
Exactly. It's tricky to talk about an online persona, or identifying their true intentions. As I see it, there are so many subtle signs I find in komal is that she can be a covert narcissist (I may be wrong but that's how I felt). Many of her behaviors/ attitudes are extremely toxic, even self-destructive.
I unfollow her two reason - 1) Her dress sense is not match my taste, 2) Most important one- is she made statement on of her video "I m recreating look for shy girl who Don't want show skin". She give a vibe that to be confident you have to show skin. Girl who Don't show skin are not confident. I can't stand that.
Why do people get so emotionally attached to influencers- just let them be and do their work! If you dont like unfollow them and if u do just enjoy their work- whats the need to be so impacted by it?
go back to venus...anti indian...how much did u get from Martians to ruin our culture... u could have unfollowed this guy na...why did u comment? so when something is against your view, you will register, but he cant??
...what do you mean? Empowerment is the ability to be confident enough in yourself to do as you please. And if wearing whatever clothes she pleases is not empowerment idk what is. Comments like this do the opposite of empowering people.
Damn man...the way u potrayed each and every word so carefully was mind blowing. It was great watching you speak about someone with somuch of respect and not hurting or directing to a wrong word. You are a star rusty !!!
I used to follow her a lot. But now, I just don't think that i will ever be able to resonate with her and that is okay. We all can co-exist with each other without spreading hate. Whatever she is doing, it is awesome and we should respect that and move ahead. 💌
Build your own identity..Lott's of these influencers are all fake..behind those insta profiles they are living some different lives..double lives o can say..if u wanna see raw content..you are the one can do it..not someone else can.
The thing is... I used to love love her. I have always followed her. But she has changed so so much. People don't hate her coz she wears this and that. But coz she's just not relatable at all.. And I mean.. AT ALL. I follow the Kardashians too and even many of their clothes are wearable. But this girl just changed so so much. And oh god.. The way she tries now. The wannabe. God.
Komal has indeed built everything she's having. But the hate she's getting is just because she started doing just brand deals and damn man. All paid promotion and high high brand which is not relavent to common audience. But she's had the guts to build from strach.
Unfollowed her a long time back and I am happy that I did that. She used to give me negative vibes. I hope she achieves whatever she wants to but she has literally forgotten that this audience was with her when she had nothing, this audience which she does not care about these day gave her so much love that she can stand and speak, whatever she is it's all because of the audience that acknowledged her work. There are many people who make videos but don't get popularity because audience doesn't acknowledge there work. She should be grateful to her audience which she clearly isn't and with this attitude i would like to see where she goes.
Why wearing what you like to wear is a bad influence to you? Pls if you live in some gao type area then I'm sorry you need your mentality to be shifted upwards.
For people discussing whether or not Komal is a true feminist, I'll give my 2 cents. Wearing whatever you want is not something I care for when someone talks about feminism. I'm a hardcore feminist, and my focus is on work place equality, getting equal recognition for my work and getting equally paid as any other guy. I don't follow Komal, but if she talks about these things, more power to her. YT somehow recommended this video and I think this was a decent dissection of someone's "social media personality".
34:00 I think this is true for every damn influencer on instagram right now. It's just a farce, a place where people come to escape their boring/ugly reality. When we as 25 year olds, joined IG, there was noone to influence. We grew up and are now mature enough to 'choose' if we want to be influenced. But these young kids man, i feel sorry for them. 😑 Too early for them to be on such platforms.
As somebody who doesn't believe in the "influencer" culture, and doesn't really "follow" people.....I see Komal Pandey as an artist. And as an artist I think her artwork is amazing. Even if her outfits are not something I'd be able to recreate I really think she's very innovative and creative. I find her work very appreciable .So from that perspective I really really admire her.
Now if this sort of a video gets hate instead of constructive criticism then i dont think anything on internet will be short of hate. Kudos to you vedant
Being her avid follower from her initial days, I was hesitant to acknowledge these problems, reason could be that I listened to her side of story regarding her evolution and always tried to understand her point of view. But then this video brought up those facts which were always at the back of my mind. I agree with all of it but I don’t follow her that seriously to get affected by the changes, I just watch her content as a casual viewer. No one should take any celebrity’s journey especially Instagram celebrities that seriously, watch them for recreation and inspiration if you find any, in case they don’t resonate with you anymore, just let them go. I never idolized her, but I appreciate her growth.
Sau Baat ki ek Baat 1.ur clothes don't define ur modernity. 2. Ur thoughts shd be progressive 3. Dnt go for materialistic tngs virtual world is way diff than real world
I loved how you specifically mentioned that Komal Pandey doesn’t care😂 I always feel the same when I read out her response to all the hate comments. She doesn’t know how to deal with criticism or interact with her audience. She definitely has a superiority complex but for what reasons? She is no Kendall!
She feels like a product of her insecurities. It doesn't feel like she worked against them to reach where she is right now, instead it feels like she gave into them. She talks about body positivity and normalising too much skin etc. but does she really internalise all of that? I think the audience is able to tell that she isn't. It feels like she won't be all that for body positivity and even showing her skin if the shape of her body changes again. If her slim and flat stomach, which she shows in almost fashion feel, stops being the way it is right now even for a little while, will she still love herself? She advocates for self love but the it's not convincing enough to the audience that she actually truly loves herself for who she is. It feels superficial. And that she still gets anxious when she doesn't feel pretty in the way she portrays on instagram right now. And I think that is where the audience start feeling disconnected from the person, that it's not actual empowerment. You were insecure that you don't have eurocentric features, so you forced them on yourself. Now you advocate for self love, making young girls think that the only way to achieve it is to completely change yourself like she did. That is not body positivity.
Tbh she is very much insecure and still overcoming that and kudos . However she will only that by accepting that people notice her bad side too. Also, she has lip fillers and probably anorexic too
This girl is full of depression....revenging on her ex and avenging her school college life...in a very bad way...I liked her when she was normal and hardworking now she is like the heroine from the first movie of first movie of hate story .....not a good influence for the upcoming generation of adolescent pool...
I used to like her a lot during popxo days. Her vdos were quite relatable to Middle-class girls like me, but now a days she is just doing rich people fashion. I even doubt if rich people would wear anything that she recommends lmao. Then for what purpose you're an influencer or whatever you call yourself?? Like if you're a public person but your content doesn't serve people at all, then what is the whole point? No-one would ever want to be dressed like her in real life, even from outside of the India. I guess we just watch her content because of quality, music and great transition that's it. Even I don't consider her as a fashion influencer, because yeah I don't think people irl become influenced by her fashion sense. Anyway my opinion doesn't matter lol
I love this guy.. I watched just 2 videos of his and I knew, this was something I'd love to invest my time into and I already subscribed to him..they way you handled every bit of this was wonderful.. Listening to you speak about stuff like these is like thirst getting satiated.. More power to you
I feel this too that she has superiority complex and I mean, I used to hate her last year but then I realized that she have some goals that she's not telling her audience but whatever she's doing is a step forward to that Dream... And then I felt She's definitely not relatable but she's doing something constantly to make her dreams true so I should not hate her.... Now I don't follow her on any social media platforms because I don't feel nice when I see her videos for some reason....
As an audience, RUclips content creators and Instagram influencers are like a middle ground between 'average people' and the celebrities on big screen. And I think that is what went wrong with komal, she slowly turned into a 'celebrity' who's out of reach and will always seem fake and fictional from being that relatable girl next door.
But that doesn't merit sooooo much hate for her. I mean I haven't seen such trolling for any other female creator. Also she reinvented herself to grow more. Look at Sejal who is relatable, sweet, gril next door, but she has stagnated. To grow something new is needed and komal did that exactly...
I think the main reason people can’t distinguish hate towards Komal from genuine criticism is that there are a lot of sexist slut-shamers in her comment section shaming her for being so comfortable in her own body and sexuality. At the same time, however, Komal uses that as a shield to deflect from any actual criticism levied at her. The problem is with how Komal advertises herself, if she merely advertised herself as a fashion content creator rather than a fashion inspiration blogger, it would make more sense. People could then live vicariously through her. It’s how she acts like her style is realistic for any woman who isn’t a size zero (I wear a size S or M and still can’t wear most of what she wears). She’s living in a bubble of privilege too. Her responses to comments often come as quite snide. I’ve seen her respond to comments that say “I can’t wear this, my family/society won’t accept it” with “fuck what they think just wear what you want” which isn’t realistic in a country where women literally get shunned for not being honourable enough. I’m fifteen, and Komal is one of a couple of Indian influencers girls around my age can look upto. I wish she made content that could emulate Indian sensibilities, and I don’t mean that to say she can’t reveal skin or be sexual, I’m talking about specifically those videos which are aimed at people that want inspiration. Otherwise, why shouldn’t I just watch American influencers if Indian influencers won’t accommodate for us?
@カカシKakashi it is not unnecessary as his time stamps says the video starts much early but for first 9 minutes is him explaining reasons on why he made the video
Few months back I thought that am I the one who do not like her anyways, but than I understood how and what is happening, you will either be blocked or comment will be deleted
I used to watch Komal in2016-2017 and I really used to admire her a lot.( Also, the fact we shared the same name made her more likeable.) I used to like her series where she tells different ways to style any piece of clothing. But looking at her content now, I feel a lot has changed. Girls like me cannot style a bralette with a blazer and step out from the house. I think her expression of 'showing skin' has really come out of her way. I mean her instagram is just filled with these kind of photos. I am not at all against this but the 'relatable' factor is just lost here.
I think she is a BAD INFLUENCE....I know it is harsh but you can't spread body image issues when you yourself are trying to become this zero figure model and tell people to appreciate bare skin when she herself is getting botox and fillers.....I mean getting those is not bad at all just accept you got em instead of lying to your 1.3 m community....Hypocrisy level next
You know her personally? To comment that she is fake? Now a days becoz of social media people are becoming so judgmental they are commenting shit literally without knowing what consequences it will have on others
She tried making her content for normal young people but forgot that not everyone can maintain their body shape like her nor they have the money to buy brands she suggests Nothing relatable in eating food and breathing y'all
Dude if you watch hair styling videos and that person has long hair and you have short hair you do not crib fo you? Or if the topper student says he/she studies 10 hrs a day do you reply with, " SoME peoPLe canNOt sTuDy foR 10 Hrs , she/he is fOrGEtting THat"
Why does she have to be relatable? I don’t understand this, she is ready to be trolled and even lose her audience but now has decided to be who she is now, she has the money, courage and ambition to have a lifestyle and aesthetic and good for her!!!
Guys did you all even watch the full video? All the questions are answered. Yess she need not be relatable it's ok to make different type of content. It's just that the audience who followed her from the start, who made her what she is feels betrayed
@@navyagupta8950 um? Why is she an influencer then? If she wants to dress up, she can do it alone in her room. The sheer reason she's telling you to "style a certain piece in n number of ways" IS because she IS AN INFLUENCER. We are the people who brought her where she is. If you're doing something on the internet, it will have a subliminal impact on the audience.
I was never a Komal Pandey fan and honestly I don't care what she does but I still watched an entire 36 min video mainly because to watch how you put out your videos. I liked it 👍

True very true
Why is it so hard for creators to understand that if u are getting love u will get hate too and u have to bear with it
Getting a lip filler is her choice but there are 14-16 year old kids watching these videos ..
If you call yourself an influencer you need to be mindful of the kind of influence you are making, you cannot survive long with the same ignorant "this is who I am, if you dont like it, please leave" replies.

even bella hadid and gigi hadid show their real selves and candid moments on Instagram when they’re not working.

i am glad you liked it, maybe someday i will make one on Dolly!
Fair observations made and glad you expressed views that resonate. I don't follow her but lately i visit her handles like a case study... in observation of psychology behind the content she creates. Some observations that i had gathered before i came across your video:
(All in good spirits!)
Thanks Vedant, for being so nuanced.

I loved how you specifically mentioned that Komal Pandey doesn’t care😂 I always feel the same when I read out her response to all the hate comments. She doesn’t know how to deal with criticism or interact with her audience. She definitely has a superiority complex but for what reasons? She is no Kendall!
Smart move of setting first 10mins for actual audience who really care..💯💯
ayeeee
He was not hateful for once. A healthy criticism 💓
Tbh she is very much insecure and still overcoming that and kudos . However she will only that by accepting that people notice her bad side too. Also, she has lip fillers and probably anorexic too
don't support Komal Pandey but don't use the term 'anorexia' so loosely, not every thin person is anorexic.
This girl is full of depression....revenging on her ex and avenging her school college life...in a very bad way...I liked her when she was normal and hardworking now she is like the heroine from the first movie of first movie of hate story .....not a good influence for the upcoming generation of adolescent pool...
Agree with everything you said! Hope she and other people as well take it how it's meant to be, a criticism
Love your content 🌻
thanks a ton
I used to like her a lot during popxo days. Her vdos were quite relatable to
Middle-class girls like me, but now a days she is just doing rich people fashion.
More power to you
thank youuuuu
I feel this too that she has superiority complex and I mean, I used to hate her last year but then I realized that she have some goals that she's not telling her audience but whatever she's doing is a step forward to that Dream... And then I felt She's definitely not relatable but she's doing something constantly to make her dreams true so I should not hate her.... Now I don't follow her on any social media platforms because I don't feel nice when I see her videos for some reason....
oof
I was about to comment this.
Couldn't agree more 😉
Finally someone spilled the truth with FACTS that too with all the dignity and respect to her..
Take a bow 🙌🏻🙌🏻
As an audience, RUclips content creators and Instagram influencers are like a middle ground between 'average people' and the celebrities on big screen. And I think that is what went wrong with komal, she slowly turned into a 'celebrity' who's out of reach and will always seem fake and fictional from being that relatable girl next door.
Completely agree!
I’m going to unfollow her after this videos. You just opened my eye 👁
Video starts at 9:00

Thanku💓
@カカシKakashi it is not unnecessary as his time stamps says the video starts much early but for first 9 minutes is him explaining reasons on why he made the video

Loved it....❤️
thank youuuuuuu
6:39 do a yogi baba about that youtuber and the reason why they are so underrated dispite such good content
soon soon
I used to watch Komal in2016-2017 and I really used to admire her a lot.( Also, the fact we shared the same name made her more likeable.) I used to like her series where she tells different ways to style any piece of clothing. But looking at her content now, I feel a lot has changed. Girls like me cannot style a bralette with a blazer and step out from the house. I think her expression of 'showing skin' has really come out of her way. I mean her instagram is just filled with these kind of photos. I am not at all against this but the 'relatable' factor is just lost here.
I'm in love with this guy after seeing his mentality and ability of talking about a women
A vid abt komal pandey, so Vedant bhai is wearing a shawl for fashion!!
And i really felt that u have researched a lottttt.....
hahha thank youuuuu man

I thought it’s a towel
@@nelimalamin5521 🤣🤣🔥
The answer is yes. She has changed a lot. And ofcourse she is fake
can’t agree fully
@@vedantrusty shes not fake but shes definitely not real :,(
You know her personally? To comment that she is fake? Now a days becoz of social media people are becoming so judgmental they are commenting shit literally without knowing what consequences it will have on others
I love how you just give let's gossip over chai vibes!😂💛
Me: I don't know these People, Vedant is talking about these days.
Also Me: It's a great way to study and breakdown human psychology.
She tried making her content for normal young people but forgot that not everyone can maintain their body shape like her nor they have the money to buy brands she suggests
Nothing relatable in eating food and breathing y'all
Dude if you watch hair styling videos and that person has long hair and you have short hair you do not crib fo you?
If you're doing something on the internet, it will have a subliminal impact on the audience.
ohho
0:15 no I thought "who is Komal Pandey?"
Tf!
I thought the same 😅😅
@@rajathshenoy7549 man! She's a brand

So are we gonna just ignore that Vedant has a NOICE taste in nailpolish? (In the end)
i am glad someone noticed

I was never a Komal Pandey fan and honestly I don't care what she does but I still watched an entire 36 min video mainly because to watch how you put out your videos. I liked it 👍
Yea boi spilling some killer content lately,
There's a sense of confidence in your videos recently .
