I am a regular viewer of shark tank india. If not anything, at least this show provides a platform for entrepreneurs with excellent/ genuine products and businesses. But unfortunately only that much is not enough for them to grow. As Ashneer had said "Jo diktha hai wahi biktha hai", marketing and advertising is the game changer and if this show is allowing them to reach a wider audience then it's a win - win for all. I am very happy for them as through this they can at least feature in the mainstream.
"Jo diktha hai wahi biktha hai" issi vajah se wo china wale khilone aur gadiya bika karti thi. "Dikh raha hai matlab acchha hi hoga" ye mindset galat hai. Jab dikh raha hai ki show se innovation hi chala gaya hai, to ghanta "win - win for all" ?
@@SignalFlowers well I never said, win-win for all means the product has to be good. Jo diktha hai vo sirf biktha hai (it need not be necessary that the product has to be good). I have seen a lot of cause oriented organisations in shark tank which struggle a lot to even reach the audience. Pehle logo thak jana padega (whether thr product is good or bad). So in that way I said this show offers a win-win situation for both the parties [Entrepreneurs --> much needed marketing if not funding, Sony --> TRP]. This doesn't mean I am neglecting all the facts told in this video. It was my bad to assume that you'll be mature enough to understand this.
True season 3 is a mess, they just start speaking bad things about the business and decrease the valuation of the business 3-4 times and also start asking for royalty in every another pitch and if the pitcher starts negotiating they just start abusing them and say bad things about their business. Some sharks also don't allow the pitchers to listen to the offers of the other sharks, they pressurize them to not listen like they came there to beg from them.
Loved this video and the comprehensive script. It would be better if you mentioned links of all the sources you have made references to, like the report at the start of the video.
I also get the feelings that sharks are there to eat out the entrepreneurs for their own sake like these sharks are there just for own marketing sometimes the startups are to good and deserves much but they intimidate and make them accept at the low value

As soon as the first season was on air. I totally was intrigued and gradually loved it. And 2nd season was still not too bad. But right now they have completely diverted. Now it literally feels like pretty obvious. Ideas that make it on television they get enough viewers through You tube and other media platforms. Rest all depends on people if they would want to buy the product or not. But they got their airtime on television and their idea is getting broadcasted and are being watched by the audience. Now its all marketing. The most clear and direct brand promotion was Nish hair founded by Parul Gulati who is a popular content creator she featured in TV shows as well. Now after her episode her brand is performing quite well

i'll say in this new season i have seen some investment being made on quite a few heavy loss making start ups because sharks believed in product or the founder was really good. sometimes they even made investment into startup which they belived product is super solid but founders are not that receptive of their feedbacks yet they have investments. regardless its for sure very educational show and entertaining for sure.
According to my opinion with its flaws Shark Tank is a good show because here we are learning many new business terms with easy way of understanding to those who have no knowledge of these terms in an entertaining way
According to Mark Cuban, 70% of the deals that are agreed to on TV don't go through. Indecisive entrepreneurs are punished even worse by sharks in the US who withdraw. Don't even get me started on the royalty laden, lucrative deals Kevin makes and the times Barabara has said she's out all these years. The US sharks seldom agree to anything below 10% for the average company citing it should be worth their time notwithstanding the financial status(scrub daddy is a prime example)
Piyush , ritesh and deepindra and even most of the new sharks like radhika and azhar are really good. And even ronnie screwala Edit - some of the old sharks who were my actual favorites in season 1 , I find them really annoying specifically aman and vineeta. Compared to them even shark amit jain is a bit more sensible and not so rude
Shark Tank has not been the ideal place for inventors and startup’s working on a new concept and innovation related pitches get funding rarely, but since S2, sabka kat raha hai evetually 🤣
I stopped watching it after Namita in 2nd season announced she won't invest in a business that is competing with Vineeta's business. I mean are you guys here for bhaichara??? Show some competitive spirit. That's why I love watching Dragon's Den and US Shark Tank.
I think vedant that your research lack depth and to completely disregard shark tank as a reality show would be wrong . Its not a perfect show for entrepreneurship but it is a great start. I have watched shark tank US and dragon den UK there also due dilligence happens and only 40-50 percent deals get real investment but this does not make them reality shows .

How to fix shark tank:- Remove Aman and Namita Keep Piyush Remove oyo CEO, car dekho CEO and azhar as well, they are chomu people. Promote Deepinder Goyal and Ashneer grover. Anupam, vinita and mama earth are alright. Increase variety of startups, not just food and d2c. Remove sob stories and unnecessary drama. Have better color grading.
LMAO this popped up on my feed just after watching the 2nd episode of STI season 1. But you, and all the people quoting this are bang on. Now people can call this individual obsession, but it genuinely was Ashneer who made this show in the first season. I just watched a few episodes of second season because of Peyush/Aman. And I am clueless about anything in the 3rd season. Until Ashneer was there, the drama, the intense moments, the comedy, everything was balanced. But after he left, even the sharks had a sudden change in behaviour. Namita backb*tching about him in Tanmay Bhat's podcast, and Anupam having that sudden change of behaviour too in the 2nd season where he got frustrated because he didn't get a deal and in one episode he spoiled the deal of a guy who wanted Peyush, his change has really shocked me. Nonetheless, as the things are going on now, people are just gonna remember this show due to Ashneer being there in S1. Like they've legit introduced 3-4 more sharks in season 3 and I have zero idea about them. They've lost the touch big time and are being trolled for fair reasons.
1. Mera dost hai mai uske competition mai invest kr re uska business khtam kyun krna chahunga? Unki marzi they don't want to kill their friend's business. 2. Sugar wali pitch ek mock pitch thi jisme wo assume kr re the wo time jab wo raise kr re the, that's why un ne us time ka hi revenue btaya. 3. Sari deal full fill nahi hui qki kuch logo ne jo pitch pe btaya wo sare fact correct nahi the on paper. 4. What's wrong with promoting businesses? They also want to make money like you do, don't you? 5. They are there to invest, not to donate, that's why they try to give a reasonable valuation. Pin this comment if you want to see others opinions too.

Bhai abhi apki videos hi dekh rha this one randomly popped up btw i think aap one of the creator ho jo viewers ki life m value add krte ho through quality content 🎉🎉
Thanks bro
Vedu bhau, this is what cool infotainment is...op content, op analysis...consistency barkarar rakhna, apne favourite video essayist se ye expect karna banta hai...way fo go!
will try my absolute best man!
Great video bud. Loved how you made it so simple to understand the hypocrisy and revealed the real picture of this particular season. Great job 👏👏👏
The only episode i liked was The One with Ronnie , Peyush and Radhika it was filled with info and some parts where Deepinder exits . But the shows capitalises on Drama so till today gave only 2 episodes to Deepinder and Ronnie.
And also Ritesh who give some good offers.
ya true
@@vedantrusty thanks for replying mann
Shark tank without ashneer is fish tank😂
He is the one who started😂

@auralife1500 nothing to do with boot licking. He was arrogant but still raw truth is better sweet lies.
aajkal vedant ka new thumbnail style working a lot , keep it up 💪🏼
This is reality but indian youth only sees entertainment.
Same about sharks about their behaviour💯
Atleast it can create a small inspiration for youth and awareness about basic business terms, My mom is a software engineer but she didn't know anything about equity, valuation etc but now we both enjoy watching it and analyzing it ourselves. There is a bit of drama sometimes, but it also has to look for the TV audience.
Thats my opinion
Bhai yeh saav Jan ke kya hoga , company kholna bahut badi baat hai
@@rajagooglyashi bhai atleast knowing bussiness terms jinka koi role is better knowing than remembering kitne mughals the, and coming in the future its important for everyone, Bhai log gaon gaon mei naya startup khol rahe hai, remember jugadu kamlesh? It is overall better for the country also
thanks for the opinion
A little off topic, but your mom being a software engineer is quite respectabke assuming she's on the older side of 50+
@@mad_titanthanos ik that shark tank is not the place you can get the best investment like the same point stated in the video but i feel it has an effect on society and is a great marketing for the pitchers. so definately not the best for entrepreneurship but can just promote entrepreneurship.
Thank God someone finally raised this topic... 🎉
ayeeeee
Great work man! Truly informative, I was waiting for someone to speak on this
glad you liked it!
True
Lag raha hai tumhe vdo samajh nahi aai fir se dekho
Bhaiya aapka video bhhht achha he
We just want ki app editing aur thoda catchy krre, so that viewer retention badh Jaye 😊.. ❤
10:52 Did this guy just endorse vivek bindra's show? After all that happened?
😂😂 shanti rakh
Woh example de raha hai bhai
Vivek bindra is a genius
If you would've made this during S2 i would've agreed but this season is much better.
Highest valuation is not 600 crore, it was 1200 crore for a icecream brand in season 1
Once again, dope haircut and great analysis
Sugar's lipsticks are so so bad. Nailpolish gets removed in one day after shower or some small household work. Not worth it
This is a great video Vedant
thank you my friend!
great video brother, you got a subscriber ❤
True season 3 is a mess, they just start speaking bad things about the business and decrease the valuation of the business 3-4 times and also start asking for royalty in every another pitch and if the pitcher starts negotiating they just start abusing them and say bad things about their business. Some sharks also don't allow the pitchers to listen to the offers of the other sharks, they pressurize them to not listen like they came there to beg from them.
Intense focus - spectacles brand in Season 3 suffered same as recode
Yes I think the episode is edited in such way that people feel the founder was annoying.
@@lifeofmanishaha
Eyenic was also a spectacle brand but peyush admired them and gave them constructive criticism
Glad you mentioned it. Greatly summarized video as usual.
thanks mate
Loved this video and the comprehensive script. It would be better if you mentioned links of all the sources you have made references to, like the report at the start of the video.
Dont know much about terms like d2c,seed funding....but the show is delude.
As always Nice work rusty bhai❤
I also get the feelings that sharks are there to eat out the entrepreneurs for their own sake like these sharks are there just for own marketing sometimes the startups are to good and deserves much but they intimidate and make them accept at the low value
nah I don't think so
Is it bad to market your own business ? They are here for business and not for charity...that is how business works , do better or get eaten.
That's true in real world as well, there's a lot of aggressive behavior that startup founders face.
Where is the link for those episodes?
Bro that Sugar pitch in Season 2 was a mock pitch, they were doing a roleplay pretending to be in 2016😅. So it wasn't meant to be taken seriously.
PS : Haven't watched full video yet. (Commenting while Watching)
dekho dekho poora pata cha lega
worst part is that newer sharks are shunned by seasoned sharks, inspite of having a much more profitable business
Recode, featured in Shark Tank Season 2, was also the sponsor in Season 1 of Lockup, one of the most popular reality shows besides Bigg Boss, which aired about 3-4 months before Shark Tank [not sure]. 😂
Brother most of your points are on spot, you are amazing ❤
Now I understand why ashneer grover left shark tank india , he is not like these con businessman/businesswoman who scams young entrepreneurs . Great decision ashneer grover👏🙌
wah
Bruhh 💀
He was removed imo
He was removed lol not that he left by will.
Ohh yes. A great businessman he is by promoting gambling

Now after her episode her brand is performing quite well
Great analytics and on point criticism
Great work sir
Thanks mate
Something has happened between Peyush and Aman they are not investing together, and Aman very often has poked Peyush during the episodes as well as during his Interviews, Btw loved this video, great points
oof thanks
They already addressed this. It takes hell lot of time to do valuation completion and that's why Aman specifically is not encouraging group deals
@@sruthysuresh1029 Nah man it not that, he specifically has poked peyush what could be the reason for that also even in case of solo deal due diligence will be completed only when shark tank episodes are aired
That's their personal matter none of our business
Brilliantly made video👍🙌👌😍
Shark tank ab drama se bhara reality tv show bann chuka hai. I won’t be surprised agar shark tank show wale aane wale aur seasons mein Roadies jaise fake fights bhi dikhaane lage😑
Also, Thank you so much for pointing out ke Aman is nothing but a wannabe Ashneer Grover😅 Aman thinks ke arrogant rude bann ke woh Ashneer jaise popular ho jayega😏
And howcome Nameeta is an entrepreneur when she’s in her family business I guess🤔 Uske father pehle yeh same business chala rahe the aur ab woh khud.
ye saare sawal to puchte hi hai log
Shark tank was a real show until there was ashneer. With ashneer leaving the platform, it turned out to be a joke.
i'll say in this new season i have seen some investment being made on quite a few heavy loss making start ups because sharks believed in product or the founder was really good. sometimes they even made investment into startup which they belived product is super solid but founders are not that receptive of their feedbacks yet they have investments. regardless its for sure very educational show and entertaining for sure.
And even ronnie screwala
Edit - some of the old sharks who were my actual favorites in season 1 , I find them really annoying specifically aman and vineeta. Compared to them even shark amit jain is a bit more sensible and not so rude
Exactly but chapris will only like Ashneer
Bcoz they want big boss in Shark tank 😂
exactly
Anupam is the smartest
True ❤ never been more accurate.
@@lionelmessithegoatLM10 he is good too

Shark Tank has not been the ideal place for inventors and startup’s working on a new concept and innovation related pitches get funding rarely, but since S2, sabka kat raha hai evetually 🤣
Hahahah true maybe
Amazing video. Well described every aspect. Showed shark tank from a different perspective. A lot of information and details. Thanks
Much appreciated!
I stopped watching it after Namita in 2nd season announced she won't invest in a business that is competing with Vineeta's business. I mean are you guys here for bhaichara??? Show some competitive spirit. That's why I love watching Dragon's Den and US Shark Tank.
Exactly
I think vedant that your research lack depth and to completely disregard shark tank as a reality show would be wrong . Its not a perfect show for entrepreneurship but it is a great start. I have watched shark tank US and dragon den UK there also due dilligence happens and only 40-50 percent deals get real investment but this does not make them reality shows .
Agreed with your point. This man has no valid points in his videos, he just talk in his negative perceptive towards everything. He is not well informed about the videos he makes
After watching this video I understand very well why Asneer Grover left Shark tank after session 1. Sach mein Shark tank mein sab kuchh dogalapan hai😅
lollll
Bhai to Pogo dekh
Pehli baar laga ki vedant ke saare points valid the good work bro you are improving
Season 3 is not bad I'm enjoying it
something is better than nothing
I never liked watching it after season 1, and i think you gave the accurate reason for so
How to fix shark tank:-
Remove Aman and Namita
Keep Piyush
Remove oyo CEO, car dekho CEO and azhar as well, they are chomu people.
Promote Deepinder Goyal and Ashneer grover.
Anupam, vinita and mama earth are alright.
Increase variety of startups, not just food and d2c.
Remove sob stories and unnecessary drama.
Have better color grading.
Chomu people 💀👍
Han bhai, to desh be kaise chalana hai iska be solution de de … 7:38
Chalbe chodû maal tujhei to sab pata hai na un logo ne 0 se business banaya except namita but she's also very good
Nasha vasha kar lia kya?? 💀
agreed namita ko remove kardo fr what a cringe shark she is 💀💀
amazing video brother ♥
Vineeta and her husband were recreating their pitches from their early days.
rightly said , namita should be out, she plays tooooooooo safe, we need daring sharks who have the courage to invest long term
They've lost the touch big time and are being trolled for fair reasons.
that's why the reputation is bad
Couldn’t agree more👍

She is unnecessarily promoting auli beauty products she is an investor
Hi bro. I like your content. Just wanted to ask what mic did you use here?
Bhai if you don't mind, Can you please let me know which font is this, used in this video?
I left watching Shark Tank after Ashneer left it.
Me too
Vedant bhai, Video shandaar thi. Content better krte ja rhe ho very proud of how you've worked on yourself.
Highest valuation asked o. Shark Tank India was 1200 crore by Gopal 56 Ice Cream in Season 1
Toh bhai ye unke upar hai na wo kisme invest karna chahe kisme nehi. Rules thodi hai kuch.

Very true
I just wanna say: Bhai tum chahe "hate" kro ya "like" kro, Shak Tank India still going strong every season... No matter what i love to watch this show every season and i learn so much from it and i hope it will go on just like this forever 😍

9:56 i just loved piyush from start itself
This man is a gem
Kabhi observe karna ki baake saare sharks piyush ke bohot baar against ho jaate hai specially vineeta (hair color wali pitch)
He and amit jain truly supports innovation even anupam has business accumen
Vinita has so much ego and also aman gupta has ego issuès
And namita has only 2 lines valuation justify kijiye and i am out
They both gets orga*m when women entrepreneurs comes.
Equality gayi tel lene
And ashneer was obviously a legend 9:56
Great work vedant ❤
Thanks a lot 😊
exactly what I and my friend was discussing yesterday!! The comments made by the Sharks against the entrepreneurs are so rude inspite of having superior knowledge and idea addressing the problem faced by majority of people. The comments justified even in business perspective!!
video was informational, good. just one sugestion, upgrade your mic quality, your voice is not clear, even on full volume, there is so much noise in the audio.
See, i know shark tank sharks are not worthy but dramatics is actually important to increase the engagement of the indian audience. Missing ashneer
