Round 1 Game 3 is a really nasty depiction of why Frog Reanimator is such a menace. You have to overboard so heavily to deal with their fast graveyard combo that they can easily just beat you by doing fair tempo tricks - you consistently locked up their graveyard and it didn't matter at all. That said, I do love me some combo-tempo/control. Been playing Dreadnought online because of this channel and it's so fun.
Enjoyed the match (round 3). Next time I'll take it :) You're right it's more black based. It's my old list updated because this was my first event in +10 years and breakfast styled decks were just coming back in when I left. If any of your community want to catch, the other side of this match is up as well (shameless plug). Until next time
I just wanted to comment on the deck tech, some builds are running Sylvan Safekeeper and Nantuko as a way to go infinite. You sac your lands endurance yourself with the evoke sacrificing it to shuffle it back in along with all the lands you sac to Safekeeper and keep doing this for inf mana and counters and copies of endurance eventually
@@AaronRotenberg yea doing all 854 current printings of island might be difficult. Maybe do a top 10 list instead. Ponder though only has 21 so that should be more manageable.
re R1 sideboarding: I haven’t played the deck but malanthrope not having flash (and GZS being a sorcery) feels like reason enough to pick endurance over it, even without considering the evoke option on endurance. 1000% possible there’s a “saw through the matrix” reason the list’s creator has that makes sense for the decision, though.
@@robinros2595I get that impulse, but in most of the matchups where you want both more graveyard hate and more reliable Forces, Endurance effectively will be Force of Will by tucking their target.
At 10:56, opponent attacks with a 3/4 Barrow (card types are instant, land, creature). Could you not have used ghost vacuum to exile the dryad, drop barrow to 2/3 and block with Keen-Eyed?
He could, but then he's completely open to entomb + reanimate or frog + discard + reanimate in second main. Also barrowgowf has deathtouch, so it would be a trade regardless.
Regarding fetchland distribution- is the weight green just because basic forest is important, dryad arbor mid combo, or that basic island just isnt a high priority so green might as well?
I’m kinda wondering; you have talked a lot about the upsides / downsides of fair and unfair psychic frog decks; but between bug beans and esper frogblade, what are the reasons you would want to play one over the other?
Since Nadus ban I’ve bought every single one I’ve come across waiting for it to pop off in legacy. I’m around $100 deep in buying nadus and once them bitches hit $3 I’m paying my rent.
At best that would mean replacing one flavor of overpowered with another flavor of overpowered. Which isn't a huge upgrade, other than the brief excitement of having things be shaken up. Honestly if Frog is banned, Reanimator might be a non-OP deck again. Legacy had Entomb + Reanimate for a long time and it usually wasn't OP.
Bosh'n Roll's Zenith G
Sorcery
Shuffle Bosh'n Roll's Zenith into its owner’s library.
It's so crazy that Nadu puts the lands in untapped.

Just bought 4 shrimps and can't wait to try some spicy brews. Do you have any list?
Hopefully we see Entomb get the boot from Legacy. Fair Frog pile is a balanced deck that doesn't get free wins from the Entomb + Reanimate package.
@@Auromification I'm just on the most recent UW Dreadnought list from the one guy still winning leagues with it.

Day 5: Commenting until we get the Island and Ponder artwork tier lists!
I 2nd this
IMO it's OG M10 art, then Lorwyn, then the duskmorn commander set. Extra bonus points if it is foil.
Island tier list could take a while.
Do this as a short weekend bonus video bosh

It's a blue card that pitches to Force of Will in certain matchups, maybe?

I never miss an upload 😊
That round 5 gsz punt 🎉 that’s why l get up in the morning.
Does anyone else notice the super high pitched chirps in the intro?
Yea I started noticing it about a month or so ago. Figured it was my speakers but glad to know it’s not just me.
That's just the government's 5g
unfortunately yes
I do love that Bristly William is viable in Legacy in the right deck such as this.
glad I’m not the only one calling him that
*Bristly Billiam
Scythecat Cub is going to replace him though :(
@BoshNRoll William cannot be replaced in our hearts. ❤
Also preemptive shoutout that Scythecat Cub should be called Scy "The Cat" Cub.
@@BoshNRollI think the Legendary/non-legendary creature type is relevant. Also the second activated ability of Bill is in certain contexts
The plural of "Force of Will" is "Forces of Will." Thank you (again) for coming to my TED talk.

Don't worry buddy I see this and greatly appreciate it
beaking the format, even
> Nadu isn't on the radar due to Psychic Frog
So what I'm hearing is that we should play Nadu and Psychic Frog in the same deck?
Dark Bant Psychic Frog Bird Beans
Honestly my thought as well. Maybe cut white, replacing Nomads with Shuko.
@@lightworker2956 Lightning Greaves is the way.
The bird is the word
I think the list is pretty good with the exception of Wasteland. I just don’t think it’s necessary. I think w Uro we just want good mana.
BANT baby!!
I think Nadu is messed up and I'm thinking about trying this deck or Breakfast when Frog gets banned :)
Time for unsolicited Beak Pics

Nope, can't watch a video with that damn bird in it, on principle.
First! (Love it)
