Do you use controller to play Marvel Spider Man 2?
Yes, I use DualShock 4 Controller.
Does the game go beyond 60 fps?
120 FPS option is again available on 1.42.
Did you ever load the game on Hard Disk?
Yes, I tried but the gameplay was horrible. I faced various bugs here and there so, I had to purchase "WD BLACK SN850X" just to play this game.
What is your experience?
It is an agreeable port for the pc. We must praise the developpers who made it possible.

I have the same hardware as you, only difference being the CPU - I'm rocking with 5800X with the same GPU. From the looks of things, it runs well on these specs, so I'll patiently wait for an official PC port to play this. Can't wait.
when it's officially released for PC, it won't take up so much GB on the hard drive and it won't be that demanding, it can't be more demanding than Miles and the first part, it's quite similar

It isn't similar at all. The second one is way more demanding than the first one. It has better ray-traced reflections on buildings, and actually has them on the water. It has better lighting, shadows and textures. It has added particle effects. It has further draw distance. If you compare 'ultra' to 'ultra' on the two games on PC, you are going to get a big difference in the GPU and CPU needed to get consistent performance.

Developers are working hard to fix all the problems. Already some missing sounds have been added and so on. It'll take some time. Eventually it'll be nice and cool.

I've made a keyboard + mouse mod with button prompts that you can check out in my channel. Only problem is that it's not as customizable as the first two games and requires reWASD to work.

Yes your pc is capable enough to play this game at 60 fps on 1080 fps... In fact fpss goes beyond 60... and of course you can play till the end and start new game+

The save file will be intact but I'd suggest you to take a backup of your save file to be on the safe side.

How do swipe left and right with the controller ? i'm using DS4 for windows but swiping is not possible
im using dualsense controller with ds5 windows no issue for me
You can edit shortcut in the settings menu .. Im using the left DPAD button to replace the swipe function and right dpad to open camera menu .. Both of them are important in the game.

I don't. The game update doesn't interfere with the save file.

@@Vinland-gy9lp Those games are already old and were released for PS4 (later for PC). This game was released only for PS5. The graphics and VFX are a lot different than those games. So it takes much higher resources.

Enable Keyboard Controls from the launcher settings.
how can you unlock fps? mine is stuck at 60.
Open the launcher, head over to the "Utilities" section you'll find an option called "FRAME RATE CAP", select 120 FPS. That's it. Now you've unlocked the FPS.
