I've ordered the S23 + ,I currently have an S21 Exynos. There's a few things reviewers never mention. Firstly, updates ,not only the length of support but the regularity ,monthy without fail with Samsung . Other makers claim support but updates maybe quarterly. Also ,Samsung have physical support stores in big cities. As for repairs the S range can be fixed, good luck finding repair support with Chinese brands.
Great review! I love that you highlight real world usage and not just the figures we can see on their website. I would love to see a comparison between this and the Pixel 7
This phone is 1100 euros in the Netherlands.. looking for an upgrade from my OnePlus 7 Pro. But going from 12GB ram and QHD+ to 8GB and FHD+ after paying 1000+ does not make sense to me...
Same . I have oneplus 7 pro 8/256 model and buying new phone with again 8gb ram doesn't make much sense to me. Plus it's QHD+ display so FHD+ is kinda deal breaker. I am considering OnePlus 11 more over samsung because of what it offers

I just will never go back to a small rectangular shaped phone again. I love my z-fold and before I was carrying a big tablet and a small tablet now I just carry my phone. If you own a moving company you do not buy a Volkswagen simply put.😅
Ugh! I just got my S23+ and the fingerprint unlock is ANNOYING, rarely does it work the first time. The phone wants to go to sleep when I'm looking at it but not touching the screen and yes I turned on the "keep phone on when looking at screen". Sometimes the "lift to wake" doesn't work (yes, setting is on). It's not loud enough. When in louder surroundings, I have to max out the volume and it's still not loud enough. Raising the systems maximum loudness only raises headphone volume. 20 Million settings and you still can't get the phone to work the way you want.
trying to consider an s23/s23+ or Pixel 7 pro as potential replacement for an s20fe or to wait to see what the pixel 8 pro has to offer. My carrier is having a really good promotion on the pixel 7 pro where it's around half price of retail.
Go with an S23 if you want enhanced Android features and more features on top of that and pixel 7 pro if you want an iPhone experience but Android style.
@@crazywayout yeah I actually ended up getting the S23 plus 2 days ago and it really does seem like an amazing premium android experience. I'm not disappointed at all
Have it from 1 week go. Phone would be perfect if it wasnt for the 1080p resolution, hey shoul'dve given us 1440p. Coming from a S20+ (that had native 1440p but i would still uset at 1080), I can notice the difference. The rest of the phone is awesome
Samsung 45w charging has apparently changed very little since it was introduced on the note 10 series. In a full charge it is not much. It is less than a 10 minute difference if I remember correctly
Full charge doesn't matter as the wattage will drop off overtime depending on the battery capacity. The main difference will be at the beginning whereby the time taken to charge from 0 to probably 60% will be faster.
Love the fact you went to New York. I reside in a city like this and glad to see how typical shots would come out in a very urban, and bright environment like the city where a lot of things are constantly moving. Great review nonetheless! I'm happy the Plus model is getting a lot of attention this year.
I wish it was $849, that'd be a better price for the phone. It starts at $999 for the 256gb but right now it's on sale. I love this phone and at it's sale price, I'd definitely snag it!
If your an iPhone user wanting to switch to android, the google pixel 7 pro is a good place to start, it’s like an iPhone and an android at the same time, but I’d highly recommend this Samsung Galaxy S23 plus would be overall the best if you want the best
Hi. How do you like the + compared to the ultra? I am thinking on what phone to getm like ultra but it is so big and heavy and i like flat screens better
@@christoffero89 it all depends on your preference. Both are great phones. The Ultra has the whole shebang, better screen resolution, better camera, the s pen etc. Oh and up to 1 Terabyte Storage. + only goes up yo 512gb. With the Ultra you can zoom in on the moon till the whole screen fills up. With the + you can get almost just as close with its 30x zoom. Speakers are good on both although on the + it might seem louder and i think its because its smaller thus the speakers being more close to you.
@@christoffero89 the s22 Ultra does heat up faster. That's why for the S23 they added a bigger evaporative chamber. And i also use the performance profile button to keep it cooler much longer. Even Max Brightness on it remains much cooler than the S22

@Katina Sutherland Whited outside of normal people you would think people who carry that many phones are not normal
Can you do one for the S23 as well? Probably compared to the oneplus 11?
Someone already mentioned this but, you need a 5A cable for fast charging - not the cable that came in the box. Repeating this in case you missed it.
I’d really like to see a comparison to the Pixel 7 Pro
I got the pixel pro yesterday im returning it on Monday I hate it
i noticed that there is a camera blur in video mode when zooming in in law light,in day light it is perfect
Do you set your Samsung phones to charge up to 85 percent is it really necessary or even if you charge it to 100 percent the battery will still last.
You are getting the same charging speed because the usb C cable that came with the box is only 3A. You will need to buy a proper 5A cable.
Would u buy this instead of Pixel 8 ?
