Bedok Jetty Fishing | Groupers, Sicklefish and Beltfish Season

- Welcome back to another episode of Jives Fishing! Today we are at a different fishing spot as recommended by you guys - Bedok Jetty @ East Coast Park for some night fishing!! As we are new to this fishing spot, we have yet to learn some fishing tips and tricks over here. Nonetheless, we managed to get a large variety of fishes, including a chaoxi (sicklefish), a nice sized grouper, beltfish (apparently it is beltfish season), a small trevally and some other stuff like sea cucumbers and octopus! Bait used: Tamban, kelong sotong, live prawns. Enjoy the video and do let us know in the comments if you have any tips for fishing at Bedok Jetty!

Hello Sir, I discovered your fishing chain and big congratulations to you sincerely you are good at fishing. I wanted your opinion because in the USA they fish like that on the dropper loop knot assembly the hook is directly attached to the stem loop. It's effective?

Power man.. For bedok jetty best to catch live tamban on the jetty itself.. usually the tamban at bedok jetty quite abundant. live tamban can use to catch todak’s. congrats on 4k too!!

Got chaxi also got zhiomeng .zhionmeng use live prawn and Engko 1.o hook .zhionmeng eat when tide running and they eat middle water

Try to use 'T' knot for the leader & tie a swivel at the end so as to increase the sinker accordingly. The live octopus is the best bait for snapper or grouper.

Wow sg sea can be found a lot of sea creatures unlike Malaysia waters whereby you can only find muds and old shoes.....

can you guys try surf at Changi CP7? been there multiple times but dont seem to catch much. But the neighbours always gets big game! There was once my neighbour caught a 12kg stingray right beside me

To keep your bait as fresh as possible. I wud suggest to keep your cut up bait in a small container/ziplock and salt it abundantly. Trust me. Fish love it.

Do you have any budget surf casting rod recommendation that's below 120? And how did you guys make the bait sink with the float rig ? My bait always keeps being brought up to the surface due to the strong current
we use an atc surf champion which we got off catchbay for $90. for the float rig,, we put a small sinker below
