The level to the knowledge of your machining alone is insane not to mention on top of understanding how it affects the way a motor runs a lot of people know one and not the other
IRONHORSE, Bless your kind and loving soul for sharing your amazing life and your wisdom from many years of making people's dreams come true:) WE all love you IRONHORSE:)
I enjoy watching and learning from your videos. I have a 372XP that is very sincere to me that I’m trying to make it a little bit bigger but a good work saw…Thanks again for sharing your tips and knowledge with us.
Awesome video and hints of things to come. You need the T-Shirt "Stand and Fight". Looking forward to the back to basics!! Good to hear your voice and see the sparkle!
So wonderful to see you, the man who started this all of this hobby for me, back here at the saw bench. A lot more than that too but it’s not something that I would share here except to say it’s weird how one thing can lead to another in this life. Anyway, no trick camera work or graphics or editing, just Harvey being Harvey at the bench like we all want to see. Thanks so much for all these years of dedication to all of us.
Ironhorse, you have Got to be a legend in the world of saw builders. EVERYBODY WANTS AN IRONHORSE SAW! I've missed ya . Glad to see you back on the horse. Haha made a funny.
Welcome back Harvey.. We missed you in the community.. You look healthy so all the prayers must have got to you.. All the best to you and Barb.. Much love from your Canadian brother.. ❤️✌️

So glad to see you back in the shop Harv. I hope this is a sign that you've overcome the health issues. How is Barb doing? And Cullen the pilot. Oh how I cracked up the first time you called Cullen your pilot. Welcome back and I wish you and your entire family are healthy and doing well. Can't wait for videos on a regular basis. God bless friend.

It's all very interesting when you make a video on saws, like you i am the same age, when it comes to saws I just caught interest right before my birthday so i have about six months under my belt on saws where you have maybe a few decades under your belt, so it's quite important that you keep posting videos for guys like myself for educational purposes, i am in it late in the game not getting any younger so thanks much
Harvey good to see you again. I still think of our talks when i first got cancer and you help get me thru the treatments. Hope you’re doing better too.
G day Harvey, you’re looking great and sounding better. You gotta find someone to start that badboy. You wanted a sleeper, well I reckon you got one. Anyway, take care mate, great to see you again.
About 1989 I bought a new 2101xp $895.00 with tax, other than a clutch which they were notorious for destroying, never had a problem. I sold it about 8 years ago for $600.00. Did you ever work on those much?
I'm goin threw serious health issue right now to iron horse were about same age old man its scary I know om still scared fighting everyday just do little things so i know how u feel love u ur family and ur channel thank u for all ur videos
IRONHORSE'S BACK TO BASICS, CHAINSAW BUILDING COURSE:) Now we are all having fun worldwide:) God Bless and Protect you IRONHORSE and your loving family:) Count me in, I need this education, even at the age of 69:)
Lowly?!?! They're one of the best firewood saws in history!! That 48mm jug is ported with such a long smooth powerband. While not as peaky as a 50mm 371/372, the roll on power is substantial. My 2065 (Red 365S) wears an OEM 51.4mm XPW top end, but occasionally I'll throw the 48mm back on... And its always surprising. Again, not even close in top end power, but so much more down low. If my 572 hadn't eaten its bearings twice, I'd keep it in the 65cc configuration.
Unkie Harv, how’s about just using a decomp valve just to get it started, because even if it leaks a bit, you’ll still have more compression than dishing out the piston. 😯
Good to see you again. Like you said things change I wonder how hard it would be to build a Stihl 260 or 036 to run like a 044 every pound less on the arms makes a big difference. I am starting to tinker on my old Case 2470 to get it to run better than factory first step is extra sensors to confirm i am actually making improvements after that I got an after cooler from a Same Hercules at a junkyard and see if it will help temperatures for that engine.
On your advice i got a holzfforma 372xp it's been nothing but brilliant oils properly very well actually starts 5th pull every time after standing weeks and has munched its way through lots of big wind downed English oak i run X cut chain on a twenty inch bar and she hasn't missed a beat would advice anyone to get one. Will be going to 90cc very soon
I can’t watch many people . Because it’s like there putting it on for RUclips .. this man is hear for us . Thx ol’ Man
Your one of the best showman I’ve ever seen buckin. You would have made a great wrestler

Sepertinya mesin kecil bisa berbanding dengan 660 atau 395 tenaganya. Keren bos

Awesome to see you back at it. 😎👍
Great to see you Harvey. You're looking good brother. Keep fighting!
Welcome back, Harvey. As a senior myself, I enjoy a working de-compression valve. You could try an elastostart handle/rope assembly on it might help.
Always thinking outside of the box!
Good to see you Harv!
Good hearing from you! I loved the hobby stock updates a while back. Hope that’s going well

As far as logging goes yes, lowly. Chain speed not fast enough nor enough torque
@@austindenotter19
Ok... I concede to that logic.
Still it's a great saw. Probably the best "one-saw" option... pre-XTorque.
Good to see ya Harv

I would love to have that just to be able to say I have an Iron horse saw !
Good to see you Harvey, ? How are you using the 066 piston on that stock Husqvarna wrist pin ?
Good video
Hi buddy, as always, an informed professional video.
Hey, thanks
Thanks again 👍
Thanks!
Can you email me your phone number and best time to call? I’m east coast time! I would really like to talk with you! Ironhorsechainsaw@gmail.com
Your awesome
Will that piston and cylinder work on a 272xp
👍
Ironhorse 👍
buck me did some one bang a new cam shaft in ya
The counterweights on the crank won’t hold up to this. The piston weight and the counterweights on the crank are now greatly mismatched.
What could possibly go wrong?
🗽🇺🇸👌
Same stroke ? Is it
