All the pieces look the same if the lights are off and you're playing with just the lights of the board. Maybe it's different in person than on camera. I love that that the board is touch sensitive and only lights the spaces with a game piece on it. Very cool.
Wow. Talk about artistry. About half way through any of my projects I find myself thinking "eh, that's good enough". Lol. You show what can be done with patience and precision. Well done.
Today watched two videos one with wooden chess board that had a drawer underneath to store chess pieces, and second this epoxy light effect chess board and pieces... Really incredible...
It's incredible it really is. Fantastic work good sir. The only issue you might have is once the light shines through the transparent pieces it can be difficult to see which pieces are yours and which are the opponents as they look very similar. Well in the title it says epoxy resin. So epoxy resin is the type. Resin comes in 2 parts part A which is the resin and part B which is the hardener you mix both together and then pour it into a mold most resins are a 1:1 measurement so 50 50 however it will tell you on the resin you get how much to mix of A and B.
